Ornate Update
Would those in this Cadet Legion who have not posted yet please have their RPC cadets come into the Assemble.
We need to start up the second and third phases of the training and kick these guys out onto the field in real missions, or I would like to do so.

=Raya ====== ⓇⒿ === Jackonai ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
✧ Watching SPF change all the different colours, Rayas smile grew wider with each new hue. By the time where she was certain he met supernova pissed, she was damn near bouncing up and down and clapping. Was he going to charge her? It had been such a long time since she had been in a fight. But, apparently, starting fights with those a higher rank than you wasn't quite the best idea. When he barked, Jackonai burst into laughter and clutched her belly. " Oh man, OOH MAN SO WORTH IT. " Still laughing, she dropped herself to her knee's and began doing earth presses. " Neh neh Sarge Bull. Now's the time to show you that my arms will never get tired. " Purring her comment as she winked, Jackonai continued to do her push-ups with ease. Yeah, her arms were a little sore from yesterday, but it wasnt terribad. When the king came over, she was already at twenty, and even though he was royalty, she was hardly ever on her hands and knees for anyone. Stopping mid push, she got back to her feet in one quick movement. ✧Dusting her pants, Jackonai stood and took a soft attention pose, her hands clapsed behind her back ( more so her butt considering the length of her arms ) and had her head bent down ever so slightly. If there was one thing she remembered from her lessons, it was to not look a higher classed male in the eye. She should have done this with SPF, but he was a soldier, not one of Royalty. Grinning at the Kings mild scold, she looked up and studied his face. A slight tinge of pink touched her pale cheeks before she snapped to and pressed her nails into her palm. There was something about facial scars that were so damn sexy. " I'm sure the pleasure is ours, my King. It's not often people are able to talk to royalty." Hearing the order to line up, Raya took a few steps back and took a proper attention pose. Hands in soft fists along the seam of her pants, feet spread in a 45 degree angle, back straight and eyes pointed directly ahead. Well, almost ahead. Raya spotted Ivan and did her best to get his attention while still remaining in attention, but if he got the s**t end of the stick, let the Bull freak on someone else neh? ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ CADET

I can't escape, though I am far away. Far away from lands that tears those from loved ones ∮Vengeful Killjoy Strategist∮ Ephraim didn't really look forward to doing the actually 3DMG training but he decided since he made it this far, there was no point in turning back. As he entered the 'assembly' that he was to attend to begin the second phase of training, he saw his friend from before, Ivan. But of course, he kept his normal expression since they were in the presence of the king. The king that sent Ephraim's mother and father to their death in order to assist in the building of Wall Maria. He said not a word but kept his vision focused forward.

Now, it *╯will not(beat) again You're on your own now. I won't sy/mpa/thise Any more. Cos recently mine have been tearing my seams. "Well enough," Joshua replied, smiling at Raya. The corner of his mouth twitched as the Seargeant commanded him, along with Raya, to do one hundred pushups. The look in his eyes darkened and he scowled down at Raya as she cracked up. It was hilarious until he'd been dragged into the punishment. He didn't know which of the two he hated more at that moment, the cow or the flip-brained fop on her knees with bursting ribs. Joshua lowered down onto the ground at the pace of a stalking feline, turning his attention to the dirt under his nose as he began his one hundred pushups. He wondered if Raya would be laughing like that after provoking a Titan--
His rapid and increasingly loathsome thoughts were halted as the hooded man approached. He overheard the Sergeant address the stranger, and took the chance to shoot back up to his feet. Oh, so this was their King. Josh hadn't expected someone of that high a rank to even tilt their noses down to look at new incoming soldiers. How... nice of him. Glancing back at Franz, Josh at last took comfort in how ridiculously purple the man's face was. . He saluted as the King passed by, then following Franz's order to assemble, Urquhart's face went blank once again, it was time to replace the calm demeanour.
Standing in formation, he took a moment to inconspicuously look His Majesty up and down. Joshua had no fondness for nobility, let alone royalty, and had honestly expected the King to be a bit more... Gaudy? But no, his attire was not covered in jewels and other tell-tale signs of "I am better than all of you because I was born", but his adornments were peculiar to the boy nonetheless. He turned his gaze forward, offering but mere glances as more of his fellow Cadets joined ranks.

Flamel Schwarz Cadet
"What's life without having a little fun? If we're all grim and terrified all the time, is life really worth living? After yesterday's intense session, Flamel had dragged himself home, the agonizing pain returning to his legs after the adrenaline of the course finally wore off. A hearty dinner and well earned night's rest later, he was completely rejuvenated and raring to go today, ready to face any challenge they threw at him. Upon waking up mighty early, Flamel went through his usual routine of breakfast, moderate morning workout, and a shower, the cadet left his home and headed straight for the training field, determined not to be distracted by anything that would deter him from arriving on time. With sheer willpower and determination, Flamel successfully found himself approaching the field. Already there were several people there, lined up in a salute to who he assumed to be Sarge Franz and perhaps another officer.
Flamal casually strolled over to the bunch, hands tucked in the pockets of his uniform pants, a relaxed grin adorned on his face. "Hey Sarge Franz! Ladies. Gentleman. Er, lady. Good to see you all again." the red haired cadet greeted enthusiastically, adding a nod of his head to the group. "So, what are we doing today? Another course? Or..." Flamel trailed off as he turned his head to see the contraptions just a little off ways. "Huh. Those are weird looking things. Do we have to like...climb them or something?" he asked, inspecting the tall beams quizzically. After staring at them for a few seconds longer, Flamel snapped his head back to Franz. "So, what are we up to now?" he asked, curious as nothing seemed to be happening.

Status → 100 % | Action → None | Mood → Calm | ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ It was a odd reaction to the crowd that he received, almost exactly opposite to the last one. The first group of cadets gave him a formal address that was hollow and to the point. This group seemed to have a different reaction for each one of them, something he admired. His thoughts reflected to his face as his smile broadened before a slight chim would come from his pocket drawing his attention. The kings hand slid into his pocket before pulling out a golden pocket watch, showing the precise time. Now his expression seemed to turn to one of mild disappointment. It seemed the newest group of cadets had arrived and he wanted to meet them as well.
Letting out a shallow sigh he would say "Sorry to have intruded captain but it seems I will be leaving you to the training session after all. I really want to meet all of the cadets and there is a new group just starting now, I am falling behind it would seem". He had spent a large portion of time after interacting with the first cadets in the library which made him miss a good chunk of the 2nd cadets. Now there was another chunk that he had to meet. A real let down to the king but he knew he would get them all together eventually.
"Anyways. I shall hopefully get to know you all much better then this brief encounter, if you ever want to meet me again just go to the palace as I am usually there. If I am not then you can make a appointment, and trust me it's surprising how much free time I get. Until then I wish you all good luck in your trials!" the king finished with a smile before he turned and walked away from the training field. Keeping up with all these people might be a lot harder then he first thought!

I bare my skin and I count my sins I close my eyes and I take it in I’m bleeding out. I’m bleeding out for you...████████████████████████ ㊤ ████████████ Amongst the last of the stragglers en route to their newest task, the former doctor-turned-soldier Gerald Pine marched his way to the training grounds for yet another challenge facing the cadets of the Second Legion. Today was slightly odd. Whereas the past days, role call was taken in the yard prior to shipping out for training, today there was no such familiar routine. The horn which echoed throughout the compound sounded off like any other day. Gerald and the rest of his constituents learned the horn well. The wake-up call. The day before, his regiment was informed of a new part of training. No role call, instead substituted by a brisk-paced march where a set of wooden poles with cables attached to the ends scattered beneath a rock face. This was what the whispers amongst the cadets was referring to as the only hope to fight the Titans. The three-dimensional maneuver gear, a way to reach new heights to get the high ground on the killer titans.
Upon reaching the field, Gerald quickly fell in line, taking a position in the back row of the crowd of cadets. He wasn't late, for once. But seeing the masses of cadets having gathered already wouldn't win him any extra considerations amongst the higher-ups. However, it seemed he caught a break. There was a bit of commotion in front of them alongside the informal chatter of Legion mates. It wasn't until the sea of cadets began to split apart allowing a man with flowing blonde hair bordering on white through the crowd. He was dressed in extravagant attire, unlike the rest of the scrubs appearing for military service. As the cadets moved, Gerald was able to catch a few glimpses. The king. But down in the training grounds? A person of his esteemed position would normally not be caught outside of the inner sanctum and the king's court, only occasionally attending something of interest within Wall Sina. Gerald had seen him once before. Of course, once was enough for him to understand the regale royal's majesty.
"s**t," Gerald cursed himself. Quickly stepping away without taking his eyes off the king. As he passed by the crowd, Gerald quickly went down to a knee, keeping his eyes on the dirt as was customary of a proper gentleman's bow before royalty. There was no sense of making an enemy with humanity's most powerful, most influential person, after all. Gerald stayed in that position as the King passed by, unsure of when it would be proper to resume focus back on the upcoming drill. All the while, wondering what could possibly be so important that the king would dare to travel past his sanctuary. Deep down, Gerald feared the worst.
████████████ ㊤ ████████████████████████ ...And hopelessness is sinking in The wolves all cry when your eyes are red And emptiness is all you know With the darkness fedI will be your scarecrow

Sergeant Peter Franz
...................................Stationary Legion Prater.......Dark Prater "Happiness can exist only in acceptance."- George Orwell
Peter gave Cadet Jackonai a cold look, about as dark as a black hole.
"If Cadet Jackonai would stop behaving like a jackass," he snapped, "And get her sucking up and calling needless attention to herself, perhaps she could shut her trap for a minute."
He then did his best to look neutral as he was spoken to by His Majesty, only mostly succeeding.
"No intrusion, sir!" He barked, saluting, back straight as a plank. "Yessir! Will do sir! Thank you, sir!" He added, relieved that the man then turned and left. Peter really did not feel like dealing with him as well as this batch of cheeky disciples.
After the bothersome royalty had gone, Peter looked back at his unruly cadets. They were about as mis-matched a bunch as one could possibly imagine. Perhaps even more so. Every time Peter thought that he had seen the strangest group, but then the next one always proved him wrong.
"Attention!" He snapped. "Next up, you will be doing one-on-one duels with one another! Line up facing each other, as I call your names. The pairs will be the following: Cadet Alkaline against Cadet Jackonai! Cadet Rygart against Cadet Urquhart! Cadet Schwartz against Cadet Pine! And Cadet Pouge......" Here Peter frowned, looking about questioningly.
"Where is Cadet Nuada?" He demanded.

Adonis Nuada Military Cadet In Training Don't you know looks are deceiving? Is it your eyes or heart that's misleading? Is it the truth or lies you are seeking? Is there solace in knowing and believing? Adonis was both physical and mentally exhausted when he finished the first part of his training. When his alarm rang to wake him at 5:30 am he didn't hear it and ended up sleeping until 7 am. Adonis sat up on his bed as looked at his window for a few seconds waiting for his mind to wake up with the rest of him. He vaguely remembered picking up his uniform before coming back home and then it hit him like a charging elephant right into his gut. "I'm late for combat training!" Why was it so hard for him to keep time deadlines? He surely wasn't making the best first impressions after getting hurt during his first training session and now being late for the second. Adonis went into the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. "Maybe I'm not cut out for this. Why did I join the military in the first place? To help people or defeat the titans? What if they don't need me? They are probably strong enough already." Adonis was beginning to doubt himself as he started rummaging trough the cupboards and draws looking for something. With tears welling in his eyes he found a pair of scissors and looked at the mirror. "No I can't think like that. I won't be weak any more. I won't be a burden to them. I will help...somehow." Adonis then gathered his hair at the neckline in his left hand while he held the scissors in his right. He then cut straight across just above the collar before he dropped the scissors in the sink and his dismembered braid into the trashcan. Taking in a deep breath Adonis wiped his eyes with the back of his hand then he quickly rushed over to the uniform and put it on.
"No more excuses. Time to get out there...Well it was time awhile ago. I better hurry!" Adonis then left his apartment in a quick dash ignoring the slight pain in his foot as he ran. "Lets see training grounds...where is it? To the left and then straight two blocks and then make a right." Adonis was going over the directions in his head as he ran. He nearly stopped breathing as he saw everyone had already arrived except for him and then he heard Sargent Franz ask where he was. "I am here Sir!" Adonis said winded from running then he stood at attention waiting for his orders. He didn't consider how different he might look from yesterday, but hoped he wouldn't have to explain himself. Maybe it was a way for him to find his inner strength by accepting his role as a cadet, whatever it might be. Cutting his hair was a way for him to throw away his past and start over with a new look to go with his new life. It would probably sound silly if he had to say that out loud though. | Location: Training Grounds | Company: Sergeant Franz and the new recruits | | Actions: -- | Thoughts: I'm late again! I'll be on punishment for a week for sure. | | OOC: Sorry for late reply. Been battling sinus infections and have been in and out of the hospital. Finally off antibiotics so hopefully my head will be clear enough to post. |

Sergeant Peter Franz
...................................Stationary Legion Prater.......Dark Prater "Happiness can exist only in acceptance."- George Orwell
Peter glared at Cadet Nuada, his patience obviously ticked at being taxed by more than one person. While he was a rather amiable person, especially for a drill sergeant, there was really a limit to how much waving of a red cape he could take. Though even now he was checking and keeping himself in rein, but that did not mean he was going to take this blatant disrespect from anyone.
"Where have you been Cadet Nuada?" He demanded, then snorted, nose-ring swinging back and forth. "No, on the other hand I really do not want to know. You line up, facing Cadet Pouge right now and one word out of you and your doing 20 laps."
Stepping back from the cadets now, Peter managed to focus on the task at hand, momentarily forgetting his annoyance at others.
"We will be drilling one-on-one fighting styles." He bellowed. "You are all from different backgrounds with more or less nor prior training, so I'm not expecting much. This is free-style, anything goes. You will all be graded upon this so make sure that you do your best."
He nodded and raised a hand, ready to signal the start of the exercise.
"We will begin upon my mark." He said, "Win or loose, do your best. I will be watching. START!"
With that shout, Peter yanked his arm down and watched.

נєяιcнσ ☒ POUGE ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ • ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ ▅ XXXXAccording to their Sergeant, the group of cadets' first task was to battle each other in an one on one match. Jericho didn't like fighting much, honestly. He was an intermediate kick boxer, but there was a different between practicing on a punching bag and a real person. There was also a difference between fighting a trainer and an defenseless person. Hopefully his opponent knew some kind of fighting skill.
Mentioning who would be fighting against who, Jericho heard his name last called along with a missing cadet who eventually showed up afterward. His surname was Nuada. Nuada was short. Very short. Frankly, Jericho didn't feel comfortable fighting someone so tiny. Not only because it meant that he had much of a possibly overpowering, but he just didn't find it fair.
Jericho bit his lip and thought really hard on what he was going to ask. He was afraid of how his Sergeants reaction was going to be like considering how bonkers he shouted over an improper greeting. Jericho just wanted to do what he felt was fair and spoke out anyway, "Sargeant Franz." Jericho paused, "May I please switch opponents?" Jericho pouted and looked over at Nuada. He shrugged and pulled up the corner of his mouth to make a face that shouted an apology. He also pleaded the heavens that there was no offense taken. MILITARYxxxxxx ﹂CADETxxxxxx

Sergeant Peter Franz
...................................Stationary Legion Prater.......Dark Prater "Happiness can exist only in acceptance."- George Orwell
Peter was thinking that it might have been a better idea to simply not get up that morning, which was rather strong, as he was always the first person up within the Legion. A fact that only added to his priestly nick-name of the Prater. But now he was really, really getting irked.
The question put to him by the Cadet was almost beyond comprehension...
"Cadet Pouge," he began politely, darkly quiet and eerily patient, like some psychopath smiling just before he jumps onto his next victim to render him limb from limb. "Please forgive me. Was you duel partner not to his liking? I am terribly sorry. Perhaps I shall also make sure the Titans you go up against also introduce themselves before they attack you? Just to make sure that you approve of them and feel alright killing them? Hmmm? Would that be acceptable for Your Honor?"
Then something seemed to snap.
"GET THAT USELESS a** OF YOURS INTO LINE AND DO WHAT YOU'RE TOLD TO DO CADET BEFORE I BEAT THE LIVING SNOT OUT OF IT!" He bellowed a few inches from Cadet Pouge's face, the force of his voice blowing the Cadet's hair back and with not a little spittle.

Adonis Nuada Military Cadet In Training Don't you know looks are deceiving? Is it your eyes or heart that's misleading? Is it the truth or lies you are seeking? Is there solace in knowing and believing? Adonis nodded to Sergeant Franz before he moved into place across from Cadet Pouge as instructed then he listened to the explanation of the exercise. One on one hand to hand combat to test the physical and mental capabilities of the cadets it seemed. Adonis was never good at fighting unless he was pushed into a corner and forced to defend himself. He didn't fit in well at school because of his looks and his disease. He was either picked on or outcast and when he tried to run away...they would always find him and beat him up. That was until one day he decided to fight back and broke a kids nose with a single punch. After that no one talked to him and they seemed to be afraid of him. He was only defending himself, so why was he on the wrong end of things? Why was he the bad guy? Eventually Adonis lost interest in school and decided to drop out and join the military. That all seemed like such a long time ago and yet he wondered if things would be better for him here. He wasn't one of those kids that just didn't care and wasted their time, but he wanted his life to have purpose. He wanted it to mean something. Sitting in that school lunch room all alone made him feel like there must be something better for him out there, beyond the school, and maybe even beyond the walls. All those thoughts seemed to rush through his mind as he stood across from Cadet Pouge looking at him up close for the first time. He was a lot bigger then Adonis initially thought of him while he watched him run through the obstacle course. Then again everyone looked bigger now as they stood in two lines facing each other awaiting the order to begin.
When Adonis heard Cadet Pouge ask to switch partners he started to have those same feelings from his childhood again. He had to find a way to prove he was strong enough to be here like everyone else or he would be left behind. Adonis wanted to tell Cadet Pouge to at least let him try and that this was all he had left. He couldn't go home if he failed here since he didn't have a home or a family to return, but Sergeant Franz stepped in between him and Cadet Pouge to lecture him on following orders. It was painful just to hear the lecture even if it wasn't intended for Adonis, but it was something to be expected from the commanding officers he guessed. When the Sergeant was finished with his lecture Adonis said to Jericho in a low whisper "Don't worry about me. I'm tougher then I look so don't go easy on me." Adonis then took on the best defensive stance he could muster for the moment with his left fist parallel to his left shoulder to protect his face while his right fist was about a foot lower to guard his ribs. He knew it was wrong to use the memories of the past to fuel him now, but it was all he could do to trigger those fighting instincts within himself. The memories of being hurt caused him to be more alert so he could defend himself and avoid as much pain as possible while the fear of that pain never ending drove him to fight on to stop the pain. "I am Cadet Adonis Nuada. It will be a pleasure working with you today." Adonis said to Jericho seeing him as a senior to Adonis already even if they were the same rank. Adonis knew he was probably the least experienced fighter in the group, but that didn't mean he wasn't willing to do whatever it took to catch up to the others. | Location: Training Grounds | Company: Sergeant Franz and Cadet Pouge | | Actions: Sparring with Cadet Pouge | Thoughts: Don't dismiss me so easily! | | OOC: -- |
