This a Barton Not News super special, actual news report, straight from the archives of NOPE.In short, a woman discovered a nest of Brazilian wandering spiders on a banana SHE WAS EATING. The spider is said to have some of the deadliest venom in the world. It is commonly called the banana spider, as it inhabits banana trees in South America, and can end up in banana shipments to countries all over the world. In the famous words of many people, I'LL HAVE A LARGE GLASS OF NOPE WITH THAT. Be sure to check your bananas, everyone!

So the people in the Revolution: Gaia guild tried to recruit me again. The first time they had the guild hidden so nobody could see anything. This time it's private so you can read the threads but not respond to things. So I went browsing the forums in that guild and they made the mistake of making their guild recycle bin public and not Crew Only. So I went into one of the threads and there were guild members telling each other to get over being overly concerned about linking their social web stuff with their real life and go spam and possibly troll the twitter account for the CEO. No wonder Gaia had to crack down on things in the last few months.
Needless to say no matter how much they claim they're running a guild Exchange "at pre inflation prices" they're not going to get me to join their guild. I've already joined one new guild this year, the E Corp people.

But yeah it does make a lot of sense and why I just don't feel right associating with a lot of them especially since the one doing the passing around of his private Twitter is some one I know of through the GCD. They don't want to shed a poor light on the guild and yet they allow those things to remain semi-public.

When Chef goes on the 'Nog binge, it's all over for Barton as we know it. *runs for cover...and for some unexplained reason ends up hiding in an underground tunnel with a rather dashing military officer heart redface heart redface * What gives? ((see my obsession with a certain WW2 comedy for details))
