So the klutz had guts, did she? Vegna couldn't help but smirk as he froze in his path, turning around to smile at Rhaplanca, a shadow of distrust and coldness lurking behind his friendly facade. He approached her suavely, his footsteps quiet and his body language confident yet... 'playful', like a cat toying with it's prey, before leaning against a wall, looking at her with the same mysterious smile.

"You're not the idiot your appearences lead you on to be." He said, shrugging, as he smirked. "I mean that in the best way possible, by the way..." he added afterwards, crossing his arms over his lithe chest. "Dear Rhaplanca, if our paths do indeed diverge away from one another, I only hope you've served me to be useful. You, Ishira, Noaah... You're all tools to get me closer to my mission. I don't care about your goals or anyone elses. I've specific orders to do something, and I plan on returning to headquarters with those orders fulfilled." His crimson eyes stayed stuck to Rhaplanca's deep sea blue hues, like a battle between a fiery vortex and a whirlpool of sapphire blue. "I see no need in keeping up a facade any longer..."

Vegna pushed himself off the wall with a hand, taking a decision in his mind as he stepped over to Rhaplanca, getting a bit closer to her then she'd probably be comfortable with. "Tell you what... To test my trustworthiness, and yours in return, I'll share with you a secret... my mission." He leaned in a bit, looking from side to side in an exaggerated way, before smirking at the girl, almost demonically. "Noaah thinks that he and I, Vegna, are to protect the Goddess Nelia, Origin Reyvateil of the Tower of Nelia, in Fa Ciel. However, our true orders are to... 'dispatch' her." He said it in an almost uninterested tone, shrugging. "By finding the Third Generation Reyvateil in charge of the Fau Pira, the great machine lurking in the heavens above, we would have the power needed in order to destroy her existance.

Noaah, of course, doesn't know this. His innocent mind has never questioned the orders of the C.P.G., and so he just walks around with me, thinking he's performing some greater duty for the sake of the world. It's quite ironic that by travelling with me, he's helping in the destruction of the Goddess he wishes to protect." Vegna let out a low chuckle, backing off slightly as he turned his back to Rhaplanca, gazing at the moons above. "I haven't questioned C.P.G. either... They created me. I am their puppet. Their will is my command. If they want the Goddess dead, so be it. I have no right to go against them." He glanced over his shoulder, looking directly at Rhaplanca with his ferociously intense eyes, a smirk on his lips as he challenged her with blazing fire in his irises.

"So... it's up to you to decide now. Help me on my mission in finding the Third Gen. Reyvateil, and as the Beta-Type Clone Reyvateil of the Goddess Nelia, I will do everything in my power to help you achieve your goals and wildest dreams... However, if you choose to let our paths fork, and try to stop me from killing Nelia..." Vegna turned around, a smirk on his face as he tilted his head to the side, smirking. "I'll have to dispatch you too."

[Ooh, plot twist ><;;]

"Feisty, I like it..." Vegna opened his mouth, snapping it shut as he bit into the air, smirking gently. "But I have something on my side, that you don't, dearest Rhaplanca..."

Vegna couldn't help but let out a low chuckle, shaking his head as he did so. "You really think you could win over me, don't you...? How predictable, of a Reyvateil with such a high calibre of strength as yourself. Song Magic isn't everything, you foolish little insect." He looked at her, crimson eyes drilling into hers with his undermining stare. "I have the potential to bring this world to an end if I so choose. Of course, I don't have my... 'weapon' here with me to accomplish the feat, but with my demise comes the C.P.G.'s finally initiative to destroy the Goddess. You wouldn't want to be the one who brings about that calamity, no would you?" Vegna walked forward, grinning as he lifted a hand, stroking Rhaplanca's sheek softly with his thumb, once, twice, before letting his arm flop back down to his side.

"Kill me, and the Goddess dies. Let me live, and the Goddess dies. I don't care if this world shatters and crumbles down to the Sea of Death below. Hell, I couldn't care less! The sole meaning of my existance is to do as asked, and that's precisely what I'm trying to do. You say your mission is in direct conflict with mine? So be it, then. You and I are enemies now, Rhaplanca." He lazily waved a hand in front of his face, his shoulders lifting, and dropping back down, almost as though the female were nothing more then a little bug irritating him. "I'll squash you like I will the Goddess once I get my hands on the Fau Pira's controller. No biggie..." He sighed gently, before turning around, walking away from Rhaplanca.

"Oh, wait..." he turned around, raising a finger in the air in thought, before smiling, almost in a friendly manner, although his eyes spoke of blazing hate. "Just so you know, Noaah knows nothing of this. But he plays a key role in all of this... He's like the C.P.G.'s little... 'back up plan'. You could thwart the whole movement by killing him. But, it'd be kind of heartless to attack someone who knows nothing of the position he's been put in..." A devious smile spread on his features, as he spoke in a devilish tone. "Do you have it in you, merciless Reyvateil, to do onto Noaah what you threatened to do onto me? Hahaha... Of course not. Someone as pathetic as you hasn't the guts to take another's life, especially someone so pure as he. No... Rhaplanca, you're a coward who feeds herself courage because you lack it deep down inside. Keep telling yourself you're better, little insect, but eventually, the lies you build around you will fall just as hard as this tower will when I murder Nelia..."

His footsteps echoed almost as hauntingly as his maniacle laughter did, reverberating against the buildings surrounding them in the dead of night, as he walked away, in the opposite direction of the Shrine, heading for the limits of Ce Palym.
