 Pepper scrambled after one of the revenants, knocking a couple things out of the way as she tried to follow after the clumsy creature. Some books and other things fell to the ground with a clatter. The mint demon bit her lip then stopped following the familiar to clean up her mess at least. The whole office might be messy, but it was still best for her to clean up after herself!

Pepper tried to tidy up her mess and managed to get it more or less how it was before. Turning around, she discovered she'd lost the familiar she had been following. Where could it have gone? Looking for it under the desk and around the couch didn't manage to get her anything. Maybe she'd have better luck chasing one of the others?

 Miela had stumbled upon the chaos of the loose familiars by accident on a walk after her classes. The noise of the commotion inside Ava's office was what had drawn her in, and the sight inside surprised her. Not only were there multiple familiars loose and running amok, but their tongues were waggling here and there. Wait, what were these things?! Some of the vespercats were sporting extra eyes and she spotted a jackalope with an extra eye and mouth on its chest! Though they were a bit frightening, perhaps... Perhaps Ava would reward her with a familiar if she helped? She toddled into the fray, chasing after the nearest one that passed by her.

Laviticus stumbled around clumsily, attempting to catch one of the familiars running about. But he ended up becoming too distracted by all the other Nightmares running around trying to catch their own pretties, suddenly losing their focus and wandering off instead ...

Despite her efforts, Miela was too slow on her short legs to catch the vespercat that had streaked past her. Her wings fluttered in agitation as she made a grab for a jellyfish, huffing when it also slipped just out of her grasp.

Burvia and Joselyn decided to try their best to catch a familiar together. Burvia attempted to be as stealthy as possible, but Joselyn's more forward, gentle approach seemed to work far better as a Jackelope approached xim curiously, the Litch scooping them up and grinning widely.

As yet another familiar managed to wriggle out of her hands, Miela sighed heavily. This was chaos! She took a moment to gather herself and look around. Soon enough she spotted a multicolored revenant perched atop a chair in the corner, busy picking at the cushion with its claws. Perhaps if she sneaked up on it very quietly...

Something barreled past him, and it took one glance to notice the stomach of the creature. Or, er, lack of. OH NOPE. NOPE NOPE. NOW HE KNEW WHY EVERYONE WAS SCREAMING. Was that a mouth?! On its stomach? NOPE. ABORT MISSION.

The revenant spotted her just as she pounced, wings flared. Perhaps that had been a bad idea? Nursing her sore shoulder from where it had knocked against the leg of the chair, Miela screwed her face into a frown and took a moment to pout. She huffed another irritated sigh, crossing her arms across her chest. This was no longer about cleaning up, this was about catching one of these familiars no matter what.

Sadly, the thing had turned around, tongue lolling out from both mouths. Oh no. It was looking at him. Kappa stiffened, jerking backwards as it ran at him.
"CATCH IT!" Someone screamed. What?! NO! Why would he?! Who would want to catch that?!

The Kidden ran towards him, leaping over the boy at the very last second. Kappa screamed, covering himself and cowering against the wall. Was it.... gone? His head snapped to the side, only to see the Kidden kick at the ground and then....

The Kidden ran towards him, diving to the side at the last second. That was it. It was proof the creature knew he was terrified. It was.... a monster. It was thriving off his fear. It was sucking it up with a smile.... on BOTH mouths. Kappa scurried up, attempting to flee towards his dorm when, instead, the Kidden ran in-front of him, causing him to yank backwards and scramble the other way.
