Alec smirked slightly as Luna began to get excited over Nathan's sarcastic idea. Alec wanted to believe she was just joking, but her enthusiasm was far too real for that. Alec just shook his head ever so slightly and returned his attention to Nathan as Luna posed her question. "Yeah, that would be a handy piece of info right there." Alec then looked at Luna without turning his head, giving her a teasing look as he spoke. "Especially since I'll probably just, eh, I dunno, teleport us towards the outskirts of the compound." Alec put emphasis on 'teleport' as his way of making a bit of fun at the situation and to let Luna know that there were other ways of doing things like this.
((...really? LUNA isn't ditzy? Oh perish the thought! I have no IDEA what I was babbling about! Forgive me kind princess! *bows over dramatically*
...lol, you know I tease. I wuvz ju IE! *huggles*))

Nathan's palms began to sweat a little as Luna began to form a plan. Clearly, the bait she had in mind perfectly described Nathan and although the man would go to great lengths for his children and to do what's right... He really did enjoy living, and wasn't very keen on the idea of potential bodily injury. "A-a distraction is a very good idea, Miss Luna," he said nervously. It actually really was. "As for location, there happens to be Zürich."
He paused, mulling over what Alec said, before smiling brightly. "Teleport? Can we really? I've always wanted to teleport with someone other than my wife, she picks the most awful places!"

Alec snorted audibly at Nathan's crack about his wife. Alec tried his hardest to not burst out laughing at the statement, causing a small tear to roll down his cheek in mirth. Once Alec composed himself, he smiled at Nathan and nodded. "Yeah, should be pretty easy."
But then Alec got a bit more serious as he pondered the location Nathan gave out. "Zurich? Really? Hmmm..." Alec's mind began to churn over ideas on how to get in. Thinking about the mountains Switzerland is famous for, an idea hit Alec almost immediately. Alec began to smile slightly as he moved his hand in a slow waving motion across his chalk board. As he did, the sticks of chalk sitting on the board's ledge began to draw out an extremely detailed map of Switzerland, with Zurich being drawn up next to it as a kind of zoomed in close up. Alec walked up to the board and motioned at the finished map. "Now, could you point out where exactly this place is located? We're gonna need to 'port as close as we can without tipping off any alarms or guards or any of that good stuff."

Nathan's face fell slightly as he watched Alec try to hold in his laughter. "But... I was being serious..." In his opinion, Elaine really did pick all the worst places. They've teleported into kitchens, alleyways, and one time, the sewers of Chicago. Nathan cried that night.
Shuddering from the memories, Nathan walked up to the board, examining the map of Zurich. It was amazing, magic. Alec had created a perfect map of Switzerland and the city. "Let's see," Nathan muttered to himself. "Enlil, Enlil, Enlil... Right here!" He pointed proudly to a part of Zurich, and stepped aside so the others could see. "See? We bought out this entire area for the building."

Automatically, at Lin's father's greeting, Ambrose bowed low at the waist, as he'd been taught was customary when greeting those above you. "It's an honor, sir." He said, as Lia curtsied, remembering those old ingrained habits at the last second.

The stranger fell forward from his portal, coughing hoarsely on his hands and knees; he had always really hated the feeling of crossing over. As if ironically, as his coughing fit died down he stood slowly and removed a package of cigarettes from his pocket. He lit one and inhaled deeply, letting the smoke ease out of his mouth like a charred fog. He wandered the courtyard uneasily, it had been several years since he had been here and our side's architecture had never really made complete sense to him. Flicking the cigarette butt callously into a bush, he made his way down a short hallway and finally came to a door behind which he could hear voices muttering something about a place or thing called Zurich, and something about Enlil, whatever that was. But Enlil sounded so familiar to this man, he felt as though he had heard that word the last time he had journeyed here in pursuit of a bounty. Intrigued, he turned the knob and entered cautiously.

Nathan heard the door creak open, and someone slink in. Oh, he didn't think of that. Just because Alec might have used magic or something to prevent eavesdropping didn't mean someone couldn't walk right in. The man turned slightly to see who had walked in, and stepped away from the board.

The stranger sounded oddly Scottish as he spoke. "Excuse the interruption, some of you may have met me the last time I was here, but I can't recall. The name is Aurora," he casually lit up another cigarette. "and I've been sent here to find someone." He fiddled through his jacket pockets until he found what he needed; a small piece of duotone photo paper. "Do any of you know where I could find this man?" The photograph was of a relatively young man from the shoulders up with light, shaggy hair and a deep gash across his left cheek. His eye color could not be determined from the brown and yellow photo, but it seemed bright and piercing. A large dark coat seemed to adorn him, as the collar could be seen rising to his chin.

Alec turned sharply when the strange man with the Scottish accent entered his classroom. He certainly wasn't expecting any more company, and this man didn't seem to be privy to their conversation. Alec was slightly put off by this and decided to get some info first before he answered any questions Aurora had. "Uh, yeah, it's kinda rude to just waltz in on other people's conversations. Why don't you tell us who sent you first, then we'll see if we can help you or not."

Mitsuki10191 Automatically, at Lin's father's greeting, Ambrose bowed low at the waist, as he'd been taught was customary when greeting those above you. "It's an honor, sir." He said, as Lia curtsied, remembering those old ingrained habits at the last second. (( I don't know if you all remember or not, but earlier Lin mentioned that there is always haunting singing and music that can be heard in the forest the Elves live in. This song, the tune, voice and lyrics, seem to match what I was thinking of perfectly. You don't have to listen to it, but I'm providing a link to it in case you want to hear what Ambrose and Lia are hearing when they first step out of the entrance hall. Please ignore the applause before and after. Celtic Woman, the Voice)) Lin's father nodded in response to both Lia and Ambrose and smiled politely. "Please call me Samiel (Sah-mē-el). It is good to have you here. It is wonderful when we can introduce other Elves to our home. If everything goes well, hopefully you will come to think of our home as your home as well." Lin smiled up at her father happily, obviously wishing for the same thing that her father was. Her father then looked down at his daughter and smiled lovingly at her. "Now Lin, I will show our guests to the guest quarters attached to our home while I think you should greet your mother. Your sisters are also visiting for the weekend." His smile grew even more when he saw the excitement fill his daughter's eyes. Lin knew which sisters her father was referring to. The 2 she was closest to, who were the closest to her in age and still attended Bai Ching. "Gwendolyn and Kember are here? Oh this is wonderful!" Lin turned her head to look at Ambrose and Lia with a beaming smile. "I cannot wait for you to meet two of my sisters! When you are settled into your chambers, you must come to our home to meet them, my mother, and to have a wonderful supper. Please excuse me, but I MUST go and greet my sisters now! I have not seen them in over a month!" With that, she curtsied respectfully but briefly and then raced up the ramp that led from the entrance hall out into the open forest branches with elegant rails and even more elegant Elves gliding along the enchanted pathways. When Lin raced out of the entrance hall, she was quite fast, but she also seemed to easily fall into stride with her people. In mere seconds, she was almost indecipherable from the other elegant, magical-looking creatures around her. Amazingly, the Elves themselves seemed to be part of the scenery. If people below could actually look up and see the scene above them, it would look as if magical spirits were haunting the trees, flashing in and out briefly in between the large trees. Lin's father turned his head to watch his daughter momentarily with a smile on his face before turning back to the guests. "Well, shall I take you to your chambers?" He turned his body around gracefully and floated along the path his daughter had taken moments ago. Yes, he seemed to float, not merely glide. When he came near a group of other Elves, they seemed to part naturally for him. Not in fear but in deep, true respect for one of their elders. And every time, Lin's father would smile happily and nod in greeting at each person he passed. The moment Ambrose and Lia stepped into the open forest canopy, a melodic, haunting tune could be heard faintly, as if it were surrounding them. You could not hear or see where the music and the singing were coming from. It surrounded you. And as the lyrics began to take shape, to form actual words, it seemed as if they were speaking directly to Ambrose and Lia, pulling them into their ancestral home. If that weren't enough, but Ambrose and Lia were be greeted with a larger view of the forest home they could only glance at from the forest floor. As Ambrose and Lia passed, many Elves' eyes would fall to the two newcomers that followed their elder. They could easily sense Elven blood in their veins, so they were not concerned about their guests. Simply curious.

"Eh, well that's," he muttered as if trying to find the words. "rather hard to explain unless you're familiar with the intricacies of interdimensional travel and law." He threw his cigarette butt in the garbage can nearby. "The jist of it is this: I'm a bounty hunter, and I'm looking for this man. Have you seen him?" A thought struck him suddenly, a thought that should have struck him moments ago when he showed the photograph. "Perhaps one of you recognizes his name? I'm still terrible at reading your side's languages." With a flick of his fingers, the photograph was turned over, revealing a hastily sketched name that became illegible near the end; eight letters could still be clearly read however.

Lin and Ambrose strained their ears, enchanted by the haunting melody that passed through their ears as they entered the canopy of trees. Ambrose nodded politely to the groups of elves they passed, while Lia fluttered about, staying close, as she stared and took in every detail.
However, Ambrose's mind was on something that had been said before. She had sisters? At least two? Well, no one could compare to her, but still...She obviously cared deeply for these siblings of hers, and that he could understand perfectly.
"I believe I'd be content to just sleep under the stars, if it came down to it. It's so beautiful here, if I may say so, sir. You're very lucky to be able to call this place home." Ambrose said, all the while thinking, this is where Lin grew up. She probably walked on this very dirt countless times...Probably meditated by that waterfall countless times...And look, his thoughts were straying again. Focus, damn it...

Samiel smiled humbly at what Ambrose said. "Yes, we are all very lucky. Sometimes we do sleep outside under the stars. The young ones do this more than we older Elves. You know, if after this weekend you find that you feel happy here and we find that you fit in well with our city, you would be more than welcome to call this place your home, as well. This city is home to any Elves, full-blood or even partial blood, who wish to stay here and live in harmony with the other Elves here and the forest. Of course, this means no black magic, no bringing black magic users or other harmful creatures here with you at any time. I am sure we will not have this problem, though. But for now, just focus on being at peace here and learning what you can, learning about your ancestral home. We are very pleased to have you both here."
During his long speech, the 3 of them had managed to transverse the large area and finally found themselves in one of the top tiers of the forest city. They were standing in front of a large but modest-looking house. It looked like many of the other houses around. Lin's family did not want to be showy or extravagant. They simply needed one large enough to house all of their children as they were growing up.
Right next to that house, simply separated by a small space filled with flowers, was a small, cute house. It was at this house that Samiel stopped in front of.
"This is your guest quarters. It is a two bedroom house with a small kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Everything is run either on sun power or magic and all of the water comes from the spring in the mountain. It is the water you will bathe with, the water you will cook with, and the water you will drink. It is completely refreshing and will allow you to only need 3 hours of sleep a night, if that. It also helps with our immortality. However, I am not sure how it will help you with that since you are not full Elves. That will simply need to be trial and error."
He then gestured to the larger house next to the guest quarters. "The house here is, of course, my family's house. You are more than welcome to stop by and visit or even ask questions. I am sure you have many. And yes, I mean any time. Most of my family does not sleep. We simply meditate deeply, and we do not all do it at the same time. There is always someone who is available."
He then nodded. "I will leave you to get settled, then. There is, of course, a full wardrobe of clothes for each of you inside. They are robes and if they do not fit, if they are too long and big, my wife can fit them to you. We will be at home whenever you are ready to come over."
He then started to walk toward his home.
