Hey folks, newbies and lurkers, feel free to come on over to our Tektek thread; post your inventory or do some Tekteks for other members. 3nodding Here!
I want to post my inventory to see what people would do with it, but it won't open the inventory calculator. crying

Yeah, I had a lot of trouble a couple of months ago with the calculator...but just click the link above where you paste it in the box...then copy all the text and paste it into that box. Does that make sense?
That's what doesn't work for me. I click on the link and it doesn't want to open.

Could it be something to do with cookies? Maybe you should try it in a different browser. I normally use Chrome but I open Firefox to play Booty Grab.

Well, I made it to Alchemy level 2. Without actually doing the math... I think it might be easier to sell all my alchemy components and game items and just buy the (few) alchemized items I want.

What do you guys think?

Depends on what you want; those G-500k+ items are probably much cheaper alchemized in the long run.

You have to factor in that doing alchemy just encourages the devs to make bad choices that make gaia that much less fun and hospitable.

That cost alone is reason not to bow to their BS.

Haven't they already been doing that for a while??? I mean I, personally don't mind some of the things they've implemented, but just to play devil's advocate.

If you agree with what they did, then it is not a bad choice by your reckoning then.

But even their better ideas are so badly implemented that they cause the entire gaian economy to mutate and go weird. The worst don't just do that, but take development away from better things and skill away from maintenance.

My point being that if something they do is not worth it, you should not encourage them to do more of it. They should fix the problems in the site instead of making new ones.

Though I guess, looking at how they "fixed" aquariums, we're probably better off with more bad ideas and broken stuff since the cure is often worse than the problem.

Yeah...I totally agree with Sammi...it could be something to do with cookies...If you have them disabled...I think...then some programs won't let you access some of their controls...or something like that.

They probably should have started out having aquariums the way they are now. They gave out way too much gold before. But of course - once people got used to it and came to rely on it, it made the switch that much harder to stomach.

edit - Oh and I'm back! Yay! It's nice to be home. We camped out by sand dunes near the beach. It was awesome! We got a ton of exercise climbing up and down the dunes and I got a little too much sun. 4laugh

Their "fix" for the aquariums left me without the ability to place items/backgrounds in my acquarium, so I'm certainly with you on THAT one... stare

I found that when they had the old programming...tanks activated more often...dunno...I saw it that way. Now though, it seems it's only once every couple of weeks.

Edit: Yay Cam is back!!!!!!!! I'm so glad you had a good time and it seems a lot of exercise! I hope you didn't get sun stroke!

Depends on what you want; those G-500k+ items are probably much cheaper alchemized in the long run.
Possibly, but I don't have any of those on my radar. Even if I did, if I really like something I'll just spend the 500k on it.

I think I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna sell my alchemy stuff and go on a shopping spree.

May as well, if you've got that kind of gold. 3nodding

Looks like a high level alchemy item. Maybe you can pay someone to craft it for you.

Though similar wings cost 500 million to 2 billion gold. So I am not sure if they are worth the expense and effort. It would be easier to assault gaia HQ manually and get it through the hostage negotiation. rofl
