"Mirror... b***h..." He flinched as he spoke, not used to using such coarse language - not in English, at least. He had let the curses fly in Latin, and more often than not, no one knew what he was saying. "An apt title, I think."

Ophi gazed at Danni, mulling over his thoughts before he continued. "I wonder, if it coincidence, that Setsuka finds her way back to this realm the night you fight Satan? Nonetheless, she shall surely return soon enough, with reinforcements with tow. That is simply the natural way to wage a war, to build up an army first."

"I thought so." Danni shrugged, then narrowed her gaze when he talked about Satan and Setsuka showing up the same day.

"Someone supposedly smart once said 'Bad things come in threes,' or something like that. Maybe they weren't entirely stupid." She shrugged, rolling her shoulders.

"If they come in threes," Adolf began, "then what is the third? Satan and Setsuka add to only two, unless math has changed in the last century or so." It wasn't, likely, meant to be as sarcastic as it sounded, though it was very unusual for Adolf to say so much that was 'unnecessary.'

{{I have to catch up, but I just wanted to say that there are towns and cities besides those on the east and west coast... The center of the US is the heartland of this country, but people mainly focus on the coasts. Just pointing that out.}}

((That's proooooobably because the most well-known places are on the coastlines. There are a few well-known ones scattered inland, but they're mostly on the coasts. IE: Hollywood, Los Angelos, New York, Washington DC, even New Orleans is *techincally* on a coast, though it's the south coast.))

{{Yeah, but the center is the best! XD We grow the food, farm the animals... Every place would perish without us! lol!}}

Ophiuchus scowled slightly. "Don't say that, or else a third problem really will crop up. That's the last thing I need."

"We must move, but truthfully, I'm not sure how. My field is healing, not war." The professor absent-mindedly twirled a piece of his hair around while thinking. "It would be good to put a shield around the school..."

It was true, Ophiuchus was not war-minded man. He had been nomadic for so long, that to be forced to protect a single location at all costs rather than packing up and moving, was a difficult track for him to follow. If only, he lamented, they could move the Fountain. It had been so expertly sealed by the Elders though, that an effort to move it would put all in danger.

"I'm helping," a female voice announced, as the classroom door was opened, and locked behind her. It was Seven, teal hair and green illuminated eyes surveyed the small crowd gathered there - Ophiuchus, Adolf, Danni, and Cook.

"That is my directive and I shall follow it through, to the best of my capabilities."

"A third problem? A third problem? HAH! Serpent have you gone blind deaf and hopelessly stupid? I'm sitting right here after all."
He smirked, leaning into the corner, rolling his shoulders around before once more finding a comfortable position. Rather grimly, he removed his hood; his face was still mostly obscured from the haze of darkness surrounding him.
"How about Lin, Serpent? What exactly have you brought upon yourself? You're not one for apprentices, so why have her." He grinned simply to Ophiuchus, but inside their heads Riser was prodding him, guaranteeing him that he knew exactly why he would take such a girl in. "Myself on the other hand...well, you know all about that don't you. Or, do you? Danni dearest, have you told them this crucial information as of yet?"

Seven entered, her stride very similar but not entirely that of a humans. "So andy, what exactly do we need you for again? I'm not sure anyone told you you could barge in on a private matter."
His energy spiked, the room beginning to warp slowly in and out in a distortion effect; many people in small quarters along with the Fallen had been known to cause an almost synergistic effect on his pressure, visibly warping their cramped confines in and out.
His eyes were burning, set dead on the android. Whatever the reason, he seemed as though he would strike out at any given moment.

.......yyyyyyyyep. Things were happening just as they normally would around here. What with Danni returning suddenly (which made Alec relieved, he had missed the snappy teen and her wit), and then all of the others barging in on the conversation. Not to mention Lin and Danni's little tirade all to themselves. But it was no matter. Alec had had enough time to recuperate, and he felt he could handle things now. So, standing up from the desk he walked over to Danni and sat down next to her, deciding that she might very well be one of the sanest people in the room right now. Alec decided to ignore Riser for now, recognizing the fact that he was simply flaunting his power as usual, and instead just talk to Danni and figure out how she was doing. "How's it going Danni? For what it's worth, I missed you and that first class wit of yours."

Danni glanced over when Alec sat down beside her, and for the first time since returning, she felt a smile work its way onto her face. "Yeah? Well, I missed you too. Well, I would have if I'd remembered you or anyone else existed. But that's beside the point entirely. You go somewhere? I didn't see you around before." She asked, turning her body so her side was leaning against the wall and she was facing him completely.

She'd almost forgotten that Alec was one of the few teachers she thoroughly enjoyed being taught by. Not to mention he'd put Lia in her place. That just put him right at the top of her 'People I'll Thank When I Actually Live to See the Age of Eighteen' list.

Alec smiled back at Danni when he saw her loosen up like that. He really did enjoy her when she was happy. Danni was like a challenge, really. It took some effort to get her to smile, but it was all the more worth it when it did show up. Alec moved his hands about a bit to help illustrate what he was saying. "Heh, yeah, kinda. I actually took a short break from all of the craziness that seems to plague this school on a daily basis. Went to the Scottish Highlands. Beautiful this time of year." Alec held out his arm to show Danni his tan, partly to show off and partly to prove that he had been at a very high altitude for a while.

There was a very solid thud as Ophiuchus curled up in a fetal position and fell off his desk. "Why, why, why, why, why..." Why did Riser have to yank him around like this? "Danni, what did you do that he's talking about?"

Seven giggled girlishly, and flapped her hand at Riser. "Oh, don't be silly Mister Riser! I'm called Seven, not Andi! Oh, but that is a cute name!" She smiled at the Fallen. It seemed like a miracle, that someone as emotional as Ialo had created a personality that seemed absolutely unflappable at times.

"Of course I can barge in! If Master Enlil were conscious, he'd be here - but he's not, and since I serve him, I'm here in this place!" She put her hands on her hips, and grinned proudly. Ialo had tweaked her AI a bit, and her personality had become more upbeat and cheerful.

"You went to Scottland...I've people there, though I've never been. They write of the view, and it sounds just lovely. Is it as lovely as they say?" She asked, barely realizing she'd said that aloud, her eyes shining with just a bit of envy as she held her own arm up to his, compared his tanned one to her pale, scarred one.

"Oh yes, you've tanned all right. What did you do?" She truly wanted to know, and she was rarely one to indulge in small talk. But God, she wanted to imagine it, imagine the Highlands as she'd always thought them to be, a lush sanctuary, untouched by what she was, what she lived with. And because it was, she'd never gone. But she could hear of it, and be just as content.

Adolf listened silently, observing everyone. The odd one (Seven? What sort of name is that?) that smelled of machines was very peppy, he noted, and the girl, Danni... he couldn't seem to get a very good read on her. She seemed to shift a bit, changing depending on who she was talking to. Perhaps that was for the better. The one called Riser... well, Adolf wasn't too fond of that one, despite having only known him for a few moments now.

And how did all these people have anything to do with the mysterious fountain? He was sure, every time it was brought up, that he'd heard something about it. The memory constantly eluded him, however, and he wondered if he was just being silly.

Alec thought back to the mountains and valleys of the Highlands, and couldn't help but sigh contentedly at the memory. "It's truly beautiful. I decided the best way to experience them was to get a bird's eye view, so I did. I flew over the mountains, and I could almost feel the sheer power they exerted. I flew through the valleys, and I could feel the tranquility and fertility of it all. The best part was when it started to rain, and I flew through a thunderstorm right over the tallest peak of one of the mountains. THAT was intense!" Alec's face was a huge grin right now as he remembered the electricity running through his body when he soared through the storm cloud at that high altitude.
