Danni looked at Night, her eyes confused. "My...I mean, Ambrose and Lia's parents...they sent me a Christmas present back with Lia from when the other two went to the island for the holidays. Hair ribbons..." She said, not quite knowing how to react.

Lin was wondering why Ambrose was still here, looking at her. As if waiting for something. She didn't know what, but she simply nodded. "Alright. Well, I will be here when you get back. I do not need to pack. I have items at home in my room."

"Ribbons? How odd ... they aren't laced with poison or something like that right?" He met her confusion with confusion, He had never seen her this bewildered before. "So there's no reason behind the present? They just gave it too you?" He landed on the ground silently, a bit puzzled himself.

He nodded, and then was running towards the kitchens. He made it there in record time, and then slid to a halt in front of Danni, completely ignoring Night at the moment. "Izzy, Izzy, you've gotta listen. I think it might be love! Love, I tell you! She's absolutely perfect! So pretty and smart and innocent and...and...perfect!" He said, and Danni merely stared at him a moment before she chuckled. "Ok, bro, I'll bite. Who is it? Athena? Maggie? Your meditation teacher? I hear she's hot." She guessed, but Ambrose shook his head.
"No, no, silly girl, it's Lin! You know, the little elf! And get this; turns out we're part elf! So she's taking me and Lia to her home for the weekend. I even get to meet her dad, who's going to teach me...I don't know what, but that's not the point! Isn't this wonderful, Izzy?!" He demanded, speaking more then than he usually did in a week.
For a moment, Danni just stared, thinkign about what she'd seen earlier that day with Dymetri and Lin. Oh no...Oh, God, no...not Ambrose, not the sensible one...Oh Jesus Christ...But one look at his face, and she knew she couldn't crush him. He never smiled like this...damn it...
"Oh...That's...that's wonderful, Ambrose. And hey, if it works out, your parents will be so proud. They love elves. Now, since you probably came her eto lecture me, don't bother. Go get Lia ready and pack. Don't keep your little elf waiting." She said, and had to laugh when Ambrose pulled her off her feet for a quick kiss before he was going out again. "Love you, Izzy! Be good, no turning people into frogs!" He said, and then he was gone, leaving Danni behind to worry about him. "Oh, damn it...She's going to break his poor heart...poor baby...Damn it..." She muttered, and couldn't help but go to the window and watch as Ambrose ran back to the elf in the garden.
Meanwhile, Ambrose got back to Lin, not even breathing hard though he'd just gotten back to her on a dead run. "Ok, let's go see Lia. She'll be so pleased, you know." He said, smiling down at her.
While he was busy mooning, Danni was pulling off her apron and stalking towards the door, a determined glint in her eye. Cook caught the look and caught her by the shoulder. "Where are you headed off to, baby girl?" He asked, and she looked at him for a brief second before takign another step towards the door. "I need to talk to a professor." She said, and with a shrug, Cook let her go and heard the kitchen door slam. Outside, she was busy stalking forward determinedly. Oh, she was going to find a professor all right. Dymetri. If he was going to have an affair with a student, he should teach the freaking elf to control her innoecent factor. Especially on men built with a massive 'protect the innocent' instinct like her older brother...God damn it, what a freaking mess...

"Hehehe I think your poor brother is going to be in for a rude surprise when he finds out little miss goody two shoes has a boyfriend, and even more when he finds out it's a vampire." He shrugged looking at Danni's expression. "Sadly I have to agree with you ... The only light user I ever liked; well other then a select few angels."

While Ambrose left for a few moments, Lin sat down on the stone bench by her textbooks, where she had set them again, and wrote a quick note to Dymetri.
"Dymetri, I will not be able to meet you tonight or this weekend. I need to go home this weekend. It is very important. I love you deeply and will miss you. I will love being home, but I will also be anxious to come back and see you. I will see you the moment I get back. Take care my Love."
-Lin
She then rolled it up, attached it to another small bird's leg, and sent it on its way to Dymetri, wherever he may be now.
Just in time, too. Ambrose suddenly came bounding up to her, excitement filled his eyes. Lin thought it was due to the fact that he'd get to see the largest, most mythological Elven home on Earth.
Lin nodded with her own excitement. "Yes, let's go." She started running toward the entrance to the school, this time looking like a nature spirit fading in and out of the nearby bushes and trees she was moving so quickly and gracefully.

Doing his best to keep up without lumbering, Ambrose managed to keep up with her and they finally reached the dorms. Knocking on his sister's door, he said, "Lia, Lia, want to go on a trip? A...vacation?" He asked, and that's all it took for her door to come open. "Vacation? On the yaught? Oh, hi, Lin! Are you coming on the vacation too?" She asked pleasantly, and Ambrose patted his sister's head. "Lin's invited us to go the Elven world with her. Did you realize we're part elf due to Uncle Charley?" He said, and she clapped her hands together excitedly. "Oh, I'm so excited! I have to pack! I'll be just a minute! Oh, wait, just one thing...Isadora's not coming, is she?" She asked, and when Ambrose shook his head, she smiled again before dashing into her room to pack her suitcase.
"Oh, Ambrose darling, let me pack for you as well! It'll be no trouble, and I do love picking out clothes." She said, and when Ambrose nodded again she preened. Ten minutes later, Ambrose was hefting up two heavy suitcases. "It's um...only two days, Lia." He said, and when he caught 'the look', he just shrugged and shut his mouth.

Lin giggled softly as she saw Ambrose come out with 2 very large suitcases. It seemed as if Lia loved dresses as much as Lin did... if they were all dresses in there.
"If you two would like, our people would love to give you your own wardrobe when we arrive. Made of pure silk. They are quite wonderful and very relaxing."

"Seriously?! Ambrose, let me unpack then! Only necessities!" She said happily, and when she disappeared, giggling, back into her room, Ambrose sighed. "I'm sorry, she loves her clothes..." Five minutes later, she came back out again, and this tiem Ambrose ended up carting just one suitcase which seemed heavier somehow than the other two combined had been. "Ok, we're ready. Thank you for being so patient, Lin! This'll be so fun!" Lia said, and Ambrose nodded, switching the case from one hand to the other.

Lin smiled brightly and laughed softly with Lia. "Yes, it will be. I am glad you both are looking forward to it as much as I." She then grasped her pendant, unscrewed the vial top, and poured just one single drop of her spring water onto the floor in the hallway when she was sure no one else was nearby. She then put her hand over the top of the area where the drop of water was. A blue glow started to surround her hand and reflect in the drop on the floor. Lin muttered softly, "Porta" and then a large, sparkling blue gate grew from the small drop of water on the ground. The gate was 7 feet high and 5 feet across. Lin smiled brightly and excitedly at Ambrose and Lin. "I'll go first so that our home is sure to open to us. You can follow me immediately afterward." She then walked through the blue, sparkling, swirling liquid, remaining completely dry. Whenever Ambrose and Lin would step through it, they would see this view greeting them, a city above the trees before them:

Noddign at each other, Ambrose and Lia walked through together, and their breath caught at the view that awaited them. "Oh, my!" Lia gasped, then laughed while Ambrose stared. "Why, it's wonderful, just wonderful..." He murmured, then smiled at Lin.

Then, the singing graced their ears. It was the haunting singing of the Elves. It just brought everything together, making the entire city appear very enchanting and ancient.
Lin smiled brightly and proudly as she saw Lia and Ambrose's reaction. "Thank you. It IS incredible. And it is your home now, as well. Follow me, please."
She made the portal disappear behind her and then she stood below the trees that held the first building, the largest building, in the city magically. When Lia and Ambrose were beside her, she held the pendant in hands, concentrated, and then the three of them were phased up through the floor and into the grand entrance hall. It was light gold and ivory inside with vines wrapped around the pillars. About 20 feet in front of them, the entrance hall opened up into the bright light in between the opening of the trees. There, you could see many elegant, tall people gliding along the pathways there. Actually, they looked as if they were walking on air where there were no branches to walk on. It was an enchantment put in the city.
As you looked up, up the many different levels of their city, you could see in the middle level that the trees hugged the side of a large mountain where water streamed down from the peak of the mountain, which was covered by clouds. You could not see the peak of the mountain.
The water coming down from the top pooled into a small, naturally-made rock pool on the side of the mountain. Their magic spring.
"This is our home."

"My brothers Chris. Krauser captured them awhile back, and I know he's brainwashing them, if not worse. If we free the Enlil kid or kill Krauser before we save Set and Horus, they'll kill us in cold blood. We need to get them back on our side before its too late." His eyes were glowing at this point, whether this was a result of fear, nerves, or rage, Chris could not be sure. Ra himself was probably not even sure. "Let's go, Set is in a lab on the 36th floor."

Chris frowned at the sudden predicament they were in,"Got it ... so it's up all the way." He looked up seeing a straight shot up into total darkness. "So, You think we should take the direct path, or should we do some zigzags?" Chris wondered, seeing the unnerving darkness seemed to engulf the entire vent system. Luckily for him he possessed on of the artifacts that allowed him to at least see people in the endless dark.

Cecilia stretched out in her human form. Her family decided to wait a little longer before making her queen. She stood up and began to walk around the school grounds. "Man this place is such a mess." She yawned with a little bit of a purr. "Purr." She smiled lightly as her brown tail moved from side to side. She started to sway from side to side just like her tail. She has changed a lot sense she has been here at this school.
