Ophiuchus looked up from the incision he had made, and let out a small sigh. He didn't know where Danni was either, and it did worry him - but he had people before him who needed immediate attention, and he simply couldn't drop everything to go find the girl, as much as he knew many wanted him to.

"Not in here, Cook," the healer said. His hands were hovering over Ialo's chest, and glowing softly with a pale gold light. "Could you please pass me the small glass bowl on the counter?" From the cut he had made near Ialo's heart, ominously colored liquid began to bubble up, and the droplets began to rise.

"What? Yes, yes, all right." He said, and passed the bowl, looking agitated.

"Well then, do you know where that black magic b*****d is? Rider or some such. She was talking to him last time I saw her." He said, not at all pleased.

It took a lot of self-control for Ophiuchus to not drop the bowl, though one or two choice Latin curses slipped out. There was a few full seconds of silence as Ophiuchus lifted his hands, the poison attracted somehow to the pale light, and dropped the nasty stuff into the bowl, where black vapors lazily rose from it. Lovely. No wonder the Headmaster was in such bad shape. The drugs were essentially gone now too... Ophiuchus bit his lip.

"Riser," he said to Cook, resuming the process of extracting the poison directly from Ialo's blood, "If it makes you feel any better, I sincerely doubt he is interesting in harming Danni."

"But, she did defeat Satan - the Satan. She is more powerful than you or I take her for. More likely than not, she interested Riser." He did not point out that at one time, Ialo interested Riser too, and that got the boy in a wonderful mess - not entirely unlike this one.

He looked at the other boy that was in the group and thought "Ialo's? Is that a name of a student?"

((Double check the posts, I believe you've misread somewhere. The only character who has said Ialo's name out loud in the past few pages was Danni, and she's nowhere near the school.))

"My girl doesn't need anyone else 'interested' in her. She did what she thought she had to do this time around. She should be left well enough alone now that it's done." He said, then cast a look at Ialo.

"How's our man doing?" He asked, remembering the way the dragon had fought beside his pride and joy, getting hurt for her. It wasn't something he'd forget.

Ophiuchus shook his head and did not respond to Cook's attitude about Danni. On the contrary, when people did great things, they attracted attention, and weren't left alone.

"He's awful," Ophiuchus said, dumping a bit more of the poison into the bowl. "The poison - well, this seems to be working. I'm tempted to say it might be more merciful to wipe his memory though."

"I wouldn't say that. Isn't that what caused all this trouble in the first place, wiping memories, getting them back, secrets and lies? It's about time people just got things straight around here." He said, though he eyed the poison in the bowl, then looked at Ialo with something close to pity in his eyes.

Ophiuchus almost said something, but he stopped, and his eyebrows went up a bit when he heard what Cook said.

"You're right," he admitted. "Absolutely right."

A bit more poison was transferred to the bowl. There was not a lot of it, but it was strong. Ialo was beginning to look a little better than he had half an hour ago. Confidence was a dangerous thing, but Ophi felt that Ialo would recover in a few days once the poison was gone.

"Though, I pity the person who happens to mention Luna when he wakes up..."

"Might as well send in someone he loves too much to mercilessly kill to deliver the news. Or someone no one much cares to have around anymore...Maybe we'll pay a demon." Cook said with a shrug, relieved a bit at knowing the Headmaster should be all right.

Lin slowly began to wake up. Surprisingly, her head didn't hurt, she didn't feel weak... She didn't have any effects of what she usually did after being exposed to such a heavy amount of dark magic.

Lin slowly sat up, surprised that she didn't even feel a twinge of pain. She looked around and saw that she was in the medical wing. She sighed and stood up from the cot she was resting on. She wasn't going to stay here. She was perfectly fine.

She looked over and saw James in a cot next to her. He was in good hands here, so she wasn't worried about him. She was just so thankful that she had gotten him out of Hell when she had.

"Sure, let's set him loose and let him clean the place up." Ophi grinned, and behind Cook, saw that Lin was up already. "I underestimate you all the time," he said respectfully to the elven girl. "Are you going back to your room now?"

Cook looked over when the elf rose, and it took him a moment to place her. Then he thought, 'Ah, yes, the little waif Ambrose fancies himself in love with.'

Lin heard Ophiuchus' voice and turned to look at him. She smiled softly when she saw him. Of course he'd be in the medical wing when there were injured people in need of care, but it was still nice to see him here.

She walked over to where he was. "It is alright. I, surprisingly, do not feel any side effects from the dark energy. So, I will help you here with whatever you need. How did you heal me? I am astonished that I feel completely normal, Professor."

"I made a restorative potion that's more potent then what I normally make," Ophi answered Lin. Around his neck, the spring water pendent glittered. He was used to using his own power for everything, but he was getting more comfortable with using the pendent once in a while, when something needed an extra kick.

He smiled at her gratefully. "Lin, are you sure? It's not going to be very exciting in here. Unless something else comes up, I believe I'm just going to be filtering out the poison from the Headmaster's body for a few hours, and keeping an eye on the students... oh!"

He looked towards the cabinets above the counter across the room. "I really do mean stuck here, so could you please set a roll of bandages next to me?" He chuckled, mentally chiding himself for being in such a rush. First he asked Adolf to administer the potion, then he had Cook pass him a bowl to put the poison in, and now he was asking Lin to pass him bandages.

Speaking of the poison...the black vapors were pungent, if weak. "Feel free to light some incense too, though I think you should probably get some water to drink first."

"I'll do that," Cook offered, digging a lighter out of his pocket before digging around for incense. He found scented candles, figured they were about the same thing, and set them around, lighting them.

"...Pretty." He said after a moment, studying the dancing light.
