Danni hadn't so much as muttered an oath when Riser had come at her with the blade. God damn it, sudden movements had stopped for the day. When they suddenly appeared in the sickly gray and black world she wrinkled her nose. She liked color. Something she'd discovered long ago in the unimaginative black-and-flame color scheme of Hell.
When Riser began to speak, she made a concentrated to effort to listen. And as he continued to talk, suddenly it was a whole lot easier to pay attention. Trained...by Riser...Follow the commands of Riser. Ok, so that last part wasn't so fun, but...
There was a part of her, the competitive part, the part clawing for survival, the darker side of her that always craved more power, more magic, that leapt at such a chance.
And then there was the other side of her, the newly discovered, not quite trusted side, that was wary of being under anyone's control ever again. But she was no longer under the rule of the Ancients. That had been part of the deal. Once she had done her job, none of them could try to control what she did with her magic, as long as she posed no threat to their command.
And now, if she did this, she would have to follow Riser's commands when it came to the powers she could have. But really, that deceptive and sly dark side of her prompted, what was wrong with following commands if you didn't know what to do otherwise? And it would help save Ialo if and when he needed saving. Didn't she owe him, a life for a life?
It was that fact that made up her mind for her. She wanted to protect Ialo. She owed him that. And if she didn't have more power, more training, she couldn't do that, no matter what her title was.
Her eyes suddenly clear of fatigue, she faced Riser completely and nodded. "All right. You'll teach me, and I can protect Ialo...and others. Should be interesting." Her eyes lit with the prospect of a new challenge, a new adventure of sorts.
"Shake on it." She said, extending her hand, enough her father's daughter to demand such a menial show of agreement.

Mitsuki10191 "Well, I'm afraid I'm looking for the Headmaster as well. I'm a new professor, you see, so...It seems we're both at a loss. I'm sure he'll turn up eventually." She said reassuringly, smiling kindly. Strykerius sighed softly, something he did not do often. "I see.. Well, we're both at a loss here," he murmured, the air thrumming with his breath.

He reached out and took her hand firmly, that disturbing grin still staining his face as his form shifted to and fro. The entirety of this surreal, dark being suddenly shot into the ground, melting into what appeared to be a small shadow. Without warning, the Fallen sprang back into existence behind her, grabbing her by the shoulder with his left hand while gouging his right into the back of her skull. Through some otherworldly means, his arm disappeared up to the elbow as he fished around for whatever it was inside her that he needed.
Pulling his arm out slowly, he released her shoulder as huge globs of some black viscous liquid slopped onto the ground with a sickening slushing sound. Whatever he had done was over; for now.
Removing Verus from his waist, he slashed harmlessly at the air as a massive blue and white streak formed. Placing both hands inside, he tore the rift down to the ground, gesturing for her to step through. "This is our ticket back. You are to meet me in the courtyard tomorrow morning, bring my worthless son if he's still wandering around the campus."

A bit dazed and confused about what had just happened, Danni blinked at Riser for a moment, struggling to focus. Did he just...Yeah, he did. The guy just put his hand through her head as effectively at a pointy rock at the bottom of a cliff had done.
"Yeah...courtyard...right." She was about to step through the rift, then stopped, turned to face him again. "Your son? Since when the hell is Ialo your son?" She demanded, her curiosity piqued.

Taken aback at this statement, he seemed to struggle for a moment to find the words to explain himself. "No no no, I have a son by the name of Alexander. He managed to track me down after I began spending more time at the school. The b*****d, all he wants is my death, it is the sole purpose that he's been tracking me at all. I think of that moron half-breed as more of a son than I do him, he's but a waste of breath. Careful around him, as stoned as he may be, he's still a demi-god, and a demi-god of my descent at that; he's much more dangerous than he will ever let on."

"Oh...All right then." She said, narrowing her eyes as she went through the past few minutes in her head, pushing back the fog in her brain. "...What exactly is Ialo's 'role', anyway?" She demanded, not thinking he meant Headmaster...At least he better not be.

((Okay, so Adolf is taking Lin, James, Ialo, and Athena to the clinic. Lia, Ambrose, Sly, and Cook have returned MFHS, and dispersed, I think. Kan-Shin, Stryker, Georgia, and the squid are in the same conversation, I believe. And of course, Riser is permanently changing Danni's future.))

((And if Secret doesn't mind me godmodding, I'm just going to move Adolf's group to the clinic, just to get the ball rolling again.))
Somehow, though he left after them, Ophiuchus was already in his office, and prepared for to treat everyone's injuries. If Lin were awake, she would know how - he had gone directly to his private pocket dimension after leaving Lazareth, and with its flow of time, he was able to prepare everything he needed and bring it back to the school. Really, all he had needed was time to prepare a large batch of a simple, but strong restorative potion that smelled somewhat of mint and dark chocolate. Ophiuchus should have known better. With Ialo alone, he should have had 50-gallon barrels of this stuff in the back of the room at all times.
Five cots were prepared - For James, Lin, Athena, Ialo, and Ophiuchus was suspicious when she was not with Adolf, Danni. Lin, being so quick to heal, would likely not be there for more than half a day. Athena, completely spent, would definitely be here overnight. James too, possibly, though Ophiuchus was not sure to what level the boy was exhausted. Ialo... Ialo was going to be here indefinitely, even after the poison was gone.
"Adolf, lie them on the cots." He fingered the pendent around his neck. It had been a huge help, in something so simple as being an energy source.

((Well, since Adolf's been there a while anyway... lol.))
Adolf nodded silently. He had had to minimize himself once again, and he gently took each person off his back one at a time and laid them on cots. It wasn't the nicest positioning, necessarily, since he had to take them with his teeth, but oh well. He saved Ialo for last, and transformed back to his human form before laying the Headmaster on a cot. As the most injured person, Adolf felt that teeth wouldn't quite do it for the dragon.
After that, he noted rather disappointedly that his suit was now torn and rather bloody. He'd have to dispose of it. At least, he thought, it hadn't been one of his favorites. However, now he really would enjoy a nice bowl of hot soup. Tomato, perhaps, and with a glass of unsweetened lemon-raspberry iced tea. He'd get that after ensuring that his goddaughter was all right.

((I be retarded, shush.))
Ophiuchus attended to Ialo first, as he had the gravest condition out of all of them. The Headmaster, barely conscious, had attempt to struggle, but was to exhausted and pained to even open his eyes, much less sit up. Ophiuchus pressed a finger to Ialo's forehead, and soundly knocked him out with hypnosis spell.
The healer didn't have an anti-venom, and he dared not make one up on the spot. He could, but if one thing went wrong, Lazareth's poison would be intensified. He could simply blast Ialo with pure white magic, but that was energy-draining, and time-consuming. Well, so was this method, but not nearly as much, and Ophiuchus would have the poison to study.
"Adolf, I'm sorry to trouble you, but I need you to take that restorative potion on the counter, and administer it to the students. I've got to focus on the moron here." Ophiuchus held up a small, sharp knife, and sliced off the remains of Ialo's shirt. He gazed at the slashes on the young man's abdomen, red, and infected at the edges from the poison. Already though, they showed signs of trying to heal themselves, but the poison was killing Ialo faster than he could heal.
Ophiuchus pressed the knife against Ialo's chest, slightly above and to the right of his heart. A new wound opened, clean and neat and bleeding freely. This is exactly what Ophiuchus needed.

Adolf shook his head slightly. "It is no trouble," he said. He walked over and took the aforementioned potion. He was not intimately familiar with healing methods, but he knew enough. He started with Lin, as he figured that the elf would have the worst initial reaction to the overflow of dark magic that had been sort of floating in the air at the scene of the battle. He knew, however, that she would heal fastest... Just not how fast.
Second, he approached James. He wasn't sure what exactly had happened to the necromancer-boy, but he figured that it would be better to help him now than later. Athena could hold out. She had many of her father's genes, and had had the help of Dust. Right now, she was just in a very deep, almost comatose sleep. She would awaken eventually.
He gently poured the potion down his goddaughter's throat, then brushed some of her hair out of her face before sighing lightly at her. He would have to stay her, he figured, to keep a closer eye on this one. She was proving to be quite the troublemaker.

As Ophi went to work on Ialo, Cook stormed into the room, looking around. He'd assumed Danni would be here, since she'd disappeared just before he'd gone through the portal.
"Where the hell is my pride and joy?" He demanded, his eyes promising pain to anyone who dared ignore him.
