Cat Sapphire Hi, I'm Cat. I've been on Gaia since Feb. of '08. I'm older than the majority of Gaians, but still found Gaia to be a lot of fun.
I've always been a regular GC buyer and have been getting very resentful of the way we are being pushed into buying more and more. It's gotten obnoxious. I have always felt good about helping to fund a site I love, but now I feel as though I'm just being used.
The Gaia I love is slowly, but surely being destroyed and it makes me terribly sad and angry. Hi Cat!! We share your sentiments here in this guild, and I'm so glad you're here with us! WELCOME!!

So, I just joined the Revolution. I've been in Gaia since 04, If I remember correctly, and I've always hopped around accounts because I get banned/or hacked. It got me frustrated but grew out of it. I used to enjoy Gaia--but now, it seems like all I think of is how to grow my investments in here; Gaia itself is making their users greedy. And I miss the old Gaia, and the old myself.

Hi all. emotion_bigheart
I'm Cas, and I've been a Gaiaholic since March 2008 (this was not my first account, but it became my main). I am a frequent poster in ATA, and many of you will probably recognize me from there - I'm the one that begged Lanzer for the Waffles I AM to be made for over a year. And thanks to Gaia's greed, just two months after I finished my quest for him, they released the pet rig that plummeted his value by 15m. And thus started the Summer sales from Hell.
I hope that we can all come together to be one unified voice that Gaia will have no choice but to listen to. As a member of TinierMe when it was milked for cash and then unceremoniously shut down, I can see many similarities between that situation and what is happening on Gaia Online. I pray that we can stop the CEO's huge mistake in time to save our beloved community.
I have asked my friend Ants In Your Underpants to join, as he is just as upset over these changes as I am. I'll get him to post an intro, too. smile
