"Thank you. And if you really wanna get on my good side, you'll come and help out." Matt said.
Then without waiting for a reply he turned and charged through the gaps in the walls that he and the girl had created with their explosion. When he arrived in the room where Kiro was he saw his friend on his knees with the large muscular man standing over him.
Matt didn't even hesitate. He thrust his fist forward and unleashed a stream of fire that burst forth like a lance. He was careful to aim it directly at the enemy, and not at Kiro, though Kiro might get singed a bit anyway due to proximity.
"Get away from him!" Matt roared.

Fidessa said nothing in reply to Matt as he took off to aid Kiro. She simply walked the other way through the opposite hole in the wall.

Kiro rolled out of the way as the flames passed overhead towards Ajax. Ajax was surprised to see another enemy. “What the hell is Fidessa doing? Don’t tell me you killed her!” Ajax questioned in disbelief as he reinforced his chest with iron skin. Matt’s attack impacted, but only slightly burned the outskirts of the hardened skin. “Hmph, not bad!” Ajax laughed and then stared at Matt with his Kyto eyes.

“Matt, don’t look into his eyes!” Kiro shouted quickly.

Hiro relaxed when the wave was disrupted. It seemed it had worked. He smirked at Xin's comment. "Heh, can't let them down on my first day on the team. Wouldn't look good on a resume or recommendation." he said. "Your persistence and molding skill is commendable." he said in admiration of his foe's abilities.

Using this moment to find an opening, Hiro's allies fired a volley. As much as he admired their abilities, they had a mission and that was to rescue a comrade. They were not going to just stand by and talk about their skills. They were there to stop them and take them out as soon as possible.

Hiro, now back to reality, readied himself and began to engage Xin in melee combat. "You know, I'd like to end this without having to kill anyone." he said as he began his attack. "We seem to gaining the upper hand. Would surrendering be an option?" he asked even though he was pretty certain of the response. Xin's comrades did not seem to be the surrendering type and there was really no reason why he would do the same.

Mathias added a loud battle cry as he lunged, his sword thrusting forward to pierce Hfie's chest...or it was supposed to. Mathias' cry turned from victorious to dismay as his blade was turned and slid along newly hardened skin. That was so unfair! He had only a second for the thought before a huge impact slammed into him from behind. He blinked and was confused to find himself staring up at the sky. Mathias tried to sit up but gasped at a sudden flare of pain. He looked down to find his armor was rent from his back along under his sword arm to his chest. He felt blood trickling along his side, but was pretty sure the armor took the worst of the attack. It would be worse than useless now, however. He groaned and used his sword for support as he somehow managed to rise as far as his knees.
"Ugh....time out...."

Drustwn smiled as Liora glided like a dancer past his attacks. Both blades passed so close to her that he was sure she could hear the steel whining from the air resistance. He saw the crackle of energy in her fist and and knew her plan, but also knew his position gave him no chance to stop her. He gritted his teeth as her fist slammed into his gut and felt a wash of pain as her energy attack was released through him. Quite similar to a fiend he had vanquished once, but thankfully not as powerful. He stepped back quickly, his feet not stepping, but sliding, much like a dancer himself, and retook his earlier posture. He gave Liora a slight nod of respect.

Matt managed to avert his eyes from those of his enemy. Fortunately the dancing flames helped cast concealing shadows.
"Damnit, Kiro, you let him steal your super peepers!?" Matt exclaimed. "Alright you freak, let's do this. Finally, I get to burn one of you sons of bitches to charcoal."
As he said it Matt unleashed twin blazes at Ajax. One from each side, aimed to impact together on him.

Gene’s oncoming arrows sped towards Megan all at once. She managed to knock two of them away to the right, but the third arrow sporadically turned and pierced her left shoulder. “Teh, you are such a nuisance!” Megan spat as she then raised up her own bow and notched an arrow and aimed at Gene as she noticed him readying a new form of artillery.

Phear, superhuman or not, was completely vulnerable to Malkin’s blades after losing his arms. The razor sharp scimitar snapped quickly past the giant man’s neck as it split open. An enormous gash poured out blood of large quantity as Sven’s icy blades then pierced through his lower body from below, splitting open shins, knee caps, and thighs. The superhuman was utterly defeated, as he stood impaled by ice as he passed away.

Xin, who stood off against Hiro, finally acknowledged that he had to get serious. Xin quickly materialized a liquid and condensed it into thick ice where he morphed it into the same of a scythe. The blade was sharp and translucent with numerous jagged edges for tearing flesh. Xin skillfully twirled his newly formed weapon with both hands, “I’m afraid it is time for me to purge you from this world.” He declared as he stepped forward towards Hiro with one pounding step and bending his knee doing so. Just as Xin’s foot pounded the ground in front of him, a large icy cone shot out from the ground and extended towards Hiro’s midsection while Xin charged with his scythe at his side soon afterward.

Hfie regained her footing as she got to her feet. “Valiant effort.” She praised Mathias while pulling in her chain as the blade dragged across the ground. “Going to need a heavier hitter to pierce me.”

Liora sighed after the brief confrontation; the tide of the battle was not going to be heading in her favor. I guess I need to continue to charge him, though it involves a lot of risk… Liora thought to herself. She was not very confident against this opponent. Without wasting anymore time she darted forward at Drustwn, not yet giving any indications of what she was up to, she only hoped he would not lunge at her.

Wilhelmia saw the dagger coming, but it was faster than she anticipated. She managed to bring both fists up in front of her and pound them together catching the dagger in between them.

Even under Kiro’s Kyto spell, Ajax was able to maneuver no problem. Ajax threw away his small dagger and gripped his large broadsword with both hands and swung it sideways at the two oncoming fire attacks. The huge clump of steel being waved at such a high velocity caused the attacks to be redirected over Ajax’s left shoulder and breaking apart much of a marble ceiling. Almost immediately Ajax was sprinting towards both Matt and Kiro with his broadsword in hand and his Kyto still active.

Gene saw as the enemy archer drew and lined up a shot on him, but he was already committed. He lined up his shot a little bit more and fired his heavy bolt.

Malkin stepped up to the defeated warrior and brought his scimitar down through the back of his neck, decapitating him. He hated to desecrate the body of such a skilled warrior in death, but with these human experiments is seemed that there was no such thing as being too careful.
"Thank's for the assistance, Sven." Malkin said in his raspy voice. "I think we'd best move in and assist our other comrades."
That said Malkin turned and surveyed the battlefield. In only a moment he had assessed the situation and knew what he had to do.
"Sven, move in to assist Digo." Malkin said.
That said Malkin darted off, his fiendish speed eating up the distance between himself and his target. In a moment he arrived, breaking his scimitars into two weapons again and thrusting forward with a rushing stab at the chest of the woman that stood over Mathias.

Isaac was about to move in to recommence his battle with the enemy archer, but he saw that Gene was now in the midst of an archer duel with her. Knowing he'd only get in the way of that he decided to make himself useful elsewhere and ran over to where Hiro was engaging a man who appeared to have powers similar to Sven's. Isaac stepped into striking distance and set his halberd into an offensive spinning pattern as he neared the enemy.

TJ, seeing that Isaac was back to fighting fit, nocked another bolt on her crossbow, took aim, and fired at the enemy archer once again.

Digo continued to dodge and weave, running and running. He made sure not to put enough distance between himself and the fiend that it would grow bored and seek easier prey. He needed to keep its attentions on himself. He only hoped that one or more of his allies would be able to come to assistance very soon. He had already taken a couple of grazing hits, which his scales had partly protected him from. The burns were slowing his healing, though, and he felt as though too many of them would overwhelm his ability to recover.
The fiend swiped at him again with it's oversized flaming claws. Digo dropped straight down to the ground and the paw passed over him, though he could feel its heat along his back. The instant it was clear he rolled and leapt back to his feet, turning and running to put distance between them again.
Suddenly a series of spikes of ice thrust up from the ground at and angle and stabbed up at the fiend. Where they impacted they flashed to steam without actually making contact, but for a moment the flames along that portion of the beast had been extinguished. In only a moment the flames spread in from the rest of the creature's body and covered it in fire once again.
Digo looked over to see Sven off to one side with his hands against the ground, a layer of ice coating the ground around his hands and leading from there to where the spikes has erupted.
Digo was suddenly struck with an idea. But then realized he had no way to communicate it. His fiendish features rendered him incapable of speech. He could shift forms, which he would have to do for his plan to work anyways, but that would leave him vulnerable until he was able to shift again.
Damnit. He thought to himself. I don't think I have any other options.
Digo gestured at Sven until he got his attention and then pointed at the fiend. Sven looked confused but then nodded and started forming ice spikes that came at it form multiple directions.
Digo darted back and around the corner of a building. He began to shift back into his human form. As soon as his throat changed enough He called out.
"Kait! Kait, where are you!?" He yelled.
In a second she appeared at his side.
"What? You're not chickening out, are you?" She asked with a hint of her usual attitude, though Digo could tell she was unnerved.
"Do you have any daggers left?" He asked.
"Only a couple."
"That's good enough. If we do this right we really only need one."
"You have something in mind?"
"Yeah. When Sven hit that thing with his ice it put out its flames for a second. If you can cut it with one of your daggers while its extinguished then maybe we can make it bleed. And if we can make it bleed then I can even the playing field."
Digo watched as the reality of his plan dawned on Kait.
"Alright." She said, settling her features into determination. "I still say that ability of yours is unnatural and an abomination. But right now, it's also damn useful. Let's do this."

Will was right behind the dagger and he stepped up right next to the woman as she caught his dagger. His blade flashed out in a horizontal arc aimed to go under her arms and through her abdomen.

Matt was ready and took his hammer in his right hand, as he did it, too, erupted into searing flames. He kept his eyes on the man's torso, where he could watch his movements without having to look him in the eyes.

It seemed Xin wasn't going to back down from this fight and it seemed he would have little choice of convincing him otherwise. After Xin began to form his weapon, Hiro clenched his staff in his hand. It seemed that Xin was not going to hold back anymore, meaning he was going to have to be more careful. He watched as the weapon formed in his opponent's hand. He still marveled at the ability to form objects from seeming nothingness. However this was a secret he would unfortunately be unable to learn about.

When Xin advanced, Hiro did likewise pressing strongly against the ground with this feet. Dashing forward, he kicked up a cloud of dust after him as he began to close the distance. As they neared he sat that Xin had formed a ram like object before him. Shifting his weight so that he would rotate, he spun clockwise as the object grazed his arm making a small tear on the cloth. He had just finished completing the turn when his eyes refocused on his enemy who was now within weapon's reach. "Prepare yourself!" he shouted.

Mathias continued to pant, feeling the sweat trickling down his face and brow. He gritted his teeth as he reached to unfasten the buckles and straps holding his breastplate on. His movement would be too restricted in its ruined state and would be as helpless as a turtle on its back. Hfie had her chain and blade back in hand by the time he managed to drop the useless armor onto the ground and pushed back to his feet, still using the sword for balance.
"Yeah....pant pant...maybe..." Mathias brought his sword up into a cross body guard with both hands. He didn't think he could beat this woman anymore, but neither was he going to just lie down and die...

Drustwn had to give the girl credit, she wasn't afraid. When she darted forward, he advanced as well, but not as quickly. His arms remained nonchalantly at his sides until she was two steps away, then suddenly exploded into motion. His arms twisted this way and that, his blades weaving an intricate pattern around him. A web of steel that moved so quickly the motions appeared to become opaque flashed of light. If she got through this guard, he'd be impressed.

Xin was surprised at the agility of the man before him to dodge his scythe so easily. It actually made him smile a little in respect. The icy blade continued on after just scratching Hiro and going above the both of them. Xin was now in a comprisable position for Hiro to strike, though Xin would not let him be struck down so easily. Xin prepared to defend himself from the oncoming attack.

Megan was prepared for Gene’s large bolt as she saw it coming, but was unaware and unprepared for TJ’s arrow. Both were shot at her in almost the same sequence, which created a very unlucky scenario for her. TJ’s arrow pierced through Megan’s string hand that had been pulled all the way to her neck and bow aimed at Gene. The Arrow not only pierced Megan’s hand, but also went through it and into her neck, pinning her hand to her neck. Almost simultaneously, Gene’s large bolt made contact with Megan’s forehead. The bolt had no problem cracking her skull and piercing through her head. The flying clump of metal made soup of the young woman’s brain making it impossible to regenerate herself any longer. Megan was dead instantly.

Hfie readied her blade in hand. The chains jingled from the ends of the sword as she lifted it above her head, as she was to strike down at Mathias. Suddenly Malkin appeared in front of her in a burst of speed. She was unable to out haste Malkin as she did Mathias and reinforce her skin in time. The scimitar entered her chest as it split bone and flesh apart. Her dress made of blades was not great protection against the assault unless spiraling in motion. Hfie could not speak, only attempt to inhale air, but to no avail. She then fell dead like her other comrades that were now dropping like flies.

Liora rushed towards Drustwn bravely, knowing these would be the final strikes and whoever would land them would be the winner. Liora had only her pointer finger extended in her right hand; this was where she focused all of her energy in her body. This energy made her finger into an extremely hot piercing appendage, caused by it being encompassed by electricity in a singular point.

As quickly and swiftly as possible she attempted to stab Drustwn with it, but Drustwn was must quicker and must swifter. Liora’s skin was cut all over in an instant. Her body was cut just as clean as her skin was smooth and face was pretty. She knew it was over the moment her opponent drew his swords. Slowly, Liora fell to her knees. Her finger still lingering with hissing electricity as he arms both fell to her sides. “Looks like I drew the short straw this time…” Liora muttered and coughed as blood oozed from the dozens of slice wounds on her body. She would only live another minute at most.

William’s quick sword draw gave Wilhelmia no choice but to receive the attack. The blade struck Wilhelmia’s armor with full force. The beautiful armor cracked along where the blade struck and sent Wilhelmia flying backwards several feet as her body tumbled across the marble floor.

Wilhelmia coughed and groaned, but stood up on her feet. She was breathing much heavier now. Her breastplate was completely cracked open, making it almost useless to her now. Her skin underneath was cut, though the armor shielded most of the damage. She noticed her comrade across the large room that was about to become a fallen comrade. There was nothing she could do. Wilhelmia calmed her breathing and took up a readied stance. Pounding her fists together and creating sparks with her powerful gauntlets, she then mustered up a large flame on her fists. “It is time to end this.” Wilhelmia proclaimed with a fierce expression and gritted teeth.

Ajax, who seemed to be a force of nature in human form, now charged at the two combatants. Kiro was still unable to move well from Ajax’s Kyto spell. Kiro struggled to his feet and gripped his swords as tightly as he could, though they felt like they weighed tons. “Matt, he still has about a minute of Kyto eyes left. Mine are at their limit.” Kiro reminded Matt. Kiro’s eyes then turned and morphed back into their usual blue hue.

Ajax then swung his mighty broadsword sideways at Matt at a great speed despite the size of the weapon. The swing also dug into the side of the wall to Ajax’s right, cutting open the expensive foundation the entire way until reaching Matt.

Hiro could feel the cold chill of the ice as it narrowly passed him. Flakes of frost sprinkled on his skin forcing goosebumps to form on his neck. Despite missing him, he felt a shiver within him knowing that to be injured by such a weapon would hurt more severely than a mere blade. He had to avoid touching it as much as possible, but with Xin's ability to create any weapon of his choice through ice, he was certainly at a disadvantage. He had to be smarter. More unpredictable. Understand his foe's moves before he could engage him further. The attacks thus far were merely tests. Both of them wished to know their enemy's capabilities, but one does not reveal all his secrets. The next would be more interesting.

After evading the ice blade Hiro brought his staff to his side. Then with a strong push of his legs he launched his body upward followed by thrusting the end of the staff toward Xin's body. Through the use of momentum and body mechanics in sequence, the end of the of the staff would reach tremendous speed.

Mathias heaved a huge and tired sigh of relief as his opponent fell, and dropped back to his knees again, letting the sword fall to his side on the ground.
"Thanks, Malkin... pant pant... thought I was...pant... a goner."
Mathias grinned at his comrade, but inside felt shame at having failed to best his opponent. Everyone seemed to have all these amazing abilities and tricks. What did he really contribute to all this? Many thoughts ran through his mind as he sat catching his breath.

Drustwn finished the last flow of his pattern, then froze in place, blades still at the ready as Liora stood in place. His eyes never left her as the blood ran freely from her many wounds.
"It is a shame, really. Fighting and killing for those that see you as nothing but a tool. For what?" Drustwn shook his head sadly, but his eyes never stopped being vigilant of Liora, lest she try a final strike before passing,"If only you had followed Kiro's example and found your honor again. Helped those that needed it instead of being a thug for your abusive masters. I bear you no ill will, even so. Pass on in peace, little dancer."

Isaac had intended to step in on Hiro's fight with the water controller and assist, but the two were so engrossed in their combat that he knew there was no way he could really intrude. If he forced himself into middle of the fight there was just as much chance that he would get Hiro killed as there was that he would succeed in killing the enemy.
Instead Isaac stepped back and began hurriedly reloading his flintlock.

As soon as Gene saw the shot enter the woman's skull he dropped his ballista to one side, stood, kicked his bow back up into his hands, nocked another arrow, and spun about looking for the next target.
It seemed that the majority of their enemies had been felled. Only Hiro's opponent remained in sight, though Gene could hear the sounds of battle still taking place elsewhere. It looked as though Hiro had his battle well in hand, and Isaac was already standing in reserve. Gene decided to investigate the other sounds.

TJ likewise surveyed the battlefield. Though it was not entirely over it appeared that things had favored them significantly. The enemy was down to one, in sight. And the Corps. members had not lost a single person. Her gaze fell on Mathias and saw him struggling with a bleeding injury.
TJ ran over to him and sliced her index finger with one of her thumb talons. She stuck the finger up in front of his face, blood already welling up and running down her hand.
"Drink this." She commanded.

Kait ran out form behind cover, moving in closer to the flaming fiend. The monster was still keeping itself busy trying to kill Sven. The beast didn't bear a single visible injury and it's entire body was still wreathed in blazing flames. Sven, on the other hand, while not injured was dripping sweat and gasping for breath as he continually made walls of ice to protect himself and attempting in vain to pierce into the fiend with spires of ice that thrust up from the ground and burst into steam on contact. The battlefield was becoming obscured in a thick veil of the roiling steam. Perfect.
Kait moved unnoticed around the edges of the battlefield, through the ruins of the building that had been about, many of which were now on fire. She assumed that Digo had already moved to their agreed upon rendezvous point. Once she was in position she waited, watching.
The beast attacked. Sven called up a thick wall of ice between them. The beast collided with it. The wall cracked and broke even as it burst into a could of steam. The beasts flames were extinguished momentarily. Then the blazed back to life. As the beast recoiled from the impact with the wall Sven struck, forming spikes of ice that thrust up from the ground to drive into the beast sides and belly. But eh spikes flash melted into vapor even as they hit, robbing them of their piercing power and most of heir impact.
This cycle repeated twice before Kait made her move.
The beast attacked. Sven defended. The beast recoiled. Sven struck. The flames extinguished. Kait struck into the beast exposed flank with one of her few remaining daggers, slicing into its flesh and darting away even as the flames flared back up.
Holding the dagger Kait made to run for her meeting point with Digo when she suddenly felt an excruciating pain in her hand. She glanced down and saw that the beasts blood had run down the dagger and was burning into her hand. She grit her teeth and growled her pain through them as she ran. It took her only seconds to get to the meeting point.
"Guah!!" She screamed out and held out the dagger to Digo. "Take the damn thing! Quick!"
"Sorry, Kait." Digo said.
Then he leaned forward and licked some of the blazing hot blood off of the dagger.
Kait dropped the dagger and clutched at her burned hand. Then stepped back and looked on in awe and even a bit of fear as Digo put the blood to use.

Malkin darted off again as soon as his victim fell. He saw that all of the remaining opponents were either fallen or occupied. All but one. One of the enemies remained standing right where she had been the entire time the battles had raged around her. Well, Malkin was not about to leave a single one of these kidnappers and assassins standing while he still drew breath.
Adjusting his course Malkin's fiendish speed ate up the distance and he quickly closed upon the lone figure.

Will gave no response when his opponent declared that she was going to end their battle. Other than to ready his sword and prepare himself. He was fairly sure he knew what was coming next. He thought back on his many sparring sessions with Matt and formulated a quick plan. If it didn't work there was no way he'd be able to make her fall for it again. He'd have to be perfect.

Matt knew his gauntlets wouldn't be able to stop that weapon, maybe his hammer. If he wanted it smashed into himself. He saw only one course of action left open to him. He charged in recklessly.
Matt threw himself at Ajax, which he hoped would put him to far inside the arc of the sword for it to really hit him. But the real reason he did it was because he wanted to make the sunovabitch BURN. As Matt jumped forward he unleashed the full power of his flames. His entire body erupted into a column of searing crimson fire tinged blue at its uppermost fringes, which licked across the ceiling.
"Burn!!" Matt screamed in Ajax's face as he flew towards him.

Sjana noticed Malkin coming, but didn’t flinch. On Malkin’s approach, sharp metal spikes shot out of the ground in multiple locations. These piercing iron wires were aimed at Malkin and any and all paths leading to her that she assumed Malkin would take. The wires were created from the bottoms of Sjana’s feet so they could be concealed. Sjana kept this assault up until she was safely caged inside her own metal wires that stuck up from the ground, disallowing Malkin getting hear her.

Hiro’s attack was so quick that Xin had almost no time to react. The only thing Xin was able to do to counter was to bring up his icy scythe to block Hiro’s staff. The strike was too powerful though and cracked it in half. The moment the scythe cracked the entire weapon shattered and the staff continued on to Xin’s face. The staff made contact with Xin’s chin, his head whipping back along with his body. Xin fell to the ground and rolled into a wall of a nearby house with a thud. Xin slowly sat himself up against the wall coughed up blood. “A gentleman should accompany a lady wherever she goes… Even if it’s to the afterlife.”Xin proclaimed, referring to Megan, his fallen comrade.

“My, my… I’m impressed.” Her cocky voice rang. Sjana who hadn’t moved an inch the entire battle finally took her first step. The cage around her receded into the ground as she moved forward. She slowly made her way into the middle of the battle-torn street and surrounding herself in enemies as her long black dress just barely skimmed the ground behind her. Her dress was shorter in the front, which exposed her smooth legs. “I am SAX10, Sjana. Show me what the Calivert Corps has to offer.” Sjana provoked as she readied her duel blades that are connected by chains.

Liora smiled at Drustwn’s words. It was not her usual sarcastic smile it was a genuine one. “Kiro was always different, he was always taking the kinder approach to his work when he was with us.” Liora managed. “There is still a dark part inside his heart. Don’t let Fyura take advantage of it again.” With those last words Liora began to cough up blood, choking. She passed soon afterward.

Wilhelmia clutched her fists tightly, “You’re not getting passed me!” She announced angrily as flames encompassed both her gauntlets. The flames intensified almost instantly, causing them to burn white. Wilhelmia then brought her gauntlets up one on top of each other as if they were grasping a sword. The flames on both fists then fused together and suspended upwards into the shape of a sword. Wilhelmia raised this flaming white sword above her head and in one final stroke she swiped it down upon William. The flaming sword expanded into an enormous attack that could reach William upon Wilhelmia’s slash.

Ajax was surprised by Matt’s sudden charge and even more so once he saw the explosion of flames in front of his face. The eruption was powerful enough to knock the broadsword out of Ajax’s vice grip as it went flying along with the rest of the walls surrounding the three warriors. Matt’s explosive power destroyed the ceiling opening it up to the sky, and crumbling the marble walls around them, which expanded their battle field into the adjacent hotel rooms.

When the debris cleared, it revealed a giant cocoon of metal wiring that wrapped around Ajax to protect him. The metal wires were searing red from the intense heat, though they turned back to normal quickly as they cooled. Soon after the metal cooled, the wired bent away and the giant man crawled out with a grin on his face. “That was quite the attack! I will take great pleasure in stealing your ability.” Ajax asserted with a chuckle. Ajax’s Kyto eye’s now deactivated, as well as Kiro’s and each of their spells on one another.

Kiro got to his feet. Matt’s attack seemed to have failed, but this was now their chance to attack as a team.

Mathias crossed his eyes to stare at the bloody finger shoved under his nose and blanched," What!? Ewww, no way!"
He was about to tell TJ just how disgusting her suggestion was when her expression darkened and she thrust her finger into his mouth, slathering a good bit of blood onto his tongue. Mathias swallowed reflexively before he could start sputtering and coughing. His protests of indignation died on his tongue when he realized the pain in his shoulder was receding. He worked his arm experimentally and found that in jut a few moments he had full motion back, and no pain. He smiled broadly and nodded to TJ, who just snorted and turned to see to any others.
Mathias heard the last opponent speak and walk amongst them and felt immediately wary. He'd barely survived his own opponent, and hadn't been able to defeat her. This one seemed unconcerned that she was totally outnumbered and surrounded. Mathias had a sinking feeling this wasn't going to turn out well...

Drustwn watched Liora collapse and relaxed his stance, still shaking his head sadly. At that moment he heard the other woman call out angrily and turned to see her slash toward William with an enormous sword made out of flames. Drustwn exploded into motion, sprinting towards Wilhelmia with blades held low ready to lift in either attack or defense. He didn't think he would make it in time to save William from her attack, but if not, she'd be wide open...
