Lin watched the pond closely, focused on it as much as she was Ambrose's soft and entrancing voice. He would be a great story teller.

When he bent down to run his hand over the surface of the water, she rested her hands on his arm to keep him steady, just in case.

Lin stared at the water, unblinking now. When she started to see the gold sparkles appear in the water, she gasped and covered her mouth with one of her hands. She looked back and forth between Ambrose and the pond with wide eyes full of excitement.

Slowly, she removed her hand from her mouth and grinned brightly at Ambrose. When she spoke, her voice was lilting and soft with quiet excitement.

"Ambrose! Ambrose, there are pixies in the water! Water pixies are living at the bottom of the pond! You were right! I have never seen them before!"

She looked down at the pond again and then back at Ambrose. She even began to bounce up and down lightly in excitement. "Pixies!"

Ambrose smiled, carefully lifting a stray leaf from the pond. As thanks, he thought, the water pixies sent up a little bubble of water, and when it burst at the surface, more of that faerie dust went into the air. He caught it in his palm, where it glittered.

With a gentle smile, he raised his hand, trickling the dust over Lin's hair. "There now, you sparkle like a water pixie." He said, humor in his eyes.

"s**t," Danni patted Ialo's head, grabbed Athena, and rolled off Ialo onto a hastily summoned orb. They stood on top of it, their feet latched on by magic.

"Do your thing, we'll be fine." She said, her voice strangely calm as she glanced at Lazareth, who was circling back around. When she caught the burst of magic out of the corner of her eye, she stiffened, swore.

"Hold on, Athena. We're going surfing." With little more warning then that, she bent, gripped the edge of the orb, and pulled up sharply. It sent them into a spin in the opposite direction, making it so they narrowly avoided a ball of black flames.

"Watch out for that, it's Hell's Fire! It infects the body, spreads and kills on contact! Just saying!" She said, having dealt with it herself in the past.

Kai was face deep in his pillow when Koy, Now a spirit again, fell into his body falling asleep as well. Kai didn't move or even stir as the third familiar presence entered his mind.

The depths of Kai's mind was made so that anyone who tried to enter it would be met with the sight of the inside of a giant stone castle. Three Thrones in a triangle around The circular room and in the center a Silvery orb. Kai, who was in full armor including his helmet, sat lazily on the throne at the top of the triangle.

Kith was on the left point of the triangle and appeared as multiple lights that gave off a faint purple glow to form the appearance of a human. He sat horizontally with his head and legs hanging off both arms of the throne.

Koy had stepped into the room with the other two. She was obviously much shorter then the other two, but other then that the only feature about her that anyone could see was the red Lips on her pale white face covered mostly by her hood. the rest of her body was covered In a white robes and Her wings which blended in with the robes.

"So how did the attempted drug rape go?" Kith asked straightening up as Koy walked in.

"shut up! I don't want to talk about it." she replied sadly walking to the right of the room Taking her seat calmly.

"C'mon answer the question Koy, Is it the walk of shame ... or are you just embarrassed that you can't even get laid by a drugged dragon?" Kith Called and chuckled happily

"I Said Shut UP!" Koy Yell as a pale hand appeared from under the robes holding a golden cleaver.

"Oh I've been waiting for a good fight with you!" Kith chuckled Standing up from the throne.

"Children! ... Am I going to have to separate you ... Again ... for the ninth time today?" Kai said holding his hand up to calm the two down.

Lin had watched everything with wide eyes, and when Ambrose trickled some dust over her hair, she actually went a little cross eyed as she looked up and tried to watch the dust fall on her hair. Obviously that didn't work, but she remained very still until Ambrose pulled back, knowing that the dust was in her hair now.

She looked at Ambrose with a bright smile on her face, her eyes having gone back to normal, and she grasped one of his hands in excitement.

"Do you think I can do anything special now?!"

"If you start flying, I'd take that as a yes." He said dryly, with just the hint of a grin giving away the fact that he was joking. He'd always been a fan of a good Disney movie.

Danni trusted that Ialo would take her warning seriously, and instead focused on the shadows that seemed to be swallowing all of them, thickening the air, choking, blinding.

"s**t...What the hell was the spell?" She fumbled for a little bit in her mind, digging, trying to remember the long-forgotten white spells her mother and father had taught her when it had still been assumed she'd be a white magic sorceress. One of the first one's she'd been taught was the shadow banishing one.

She closed her eyes, dug down deep for the words, and opened them again when her father's voice ran through her head. "It comes through the heart, Izzy love. Any spell, any words will work if it comes from the heart. And a rhyme never hurts." She smiled, just a bit, when she remembered the humor in her father's eyes when he'd told her that.

And so she found the words, and used them for all they were worth. And she remembered to make it rhyme. After all, if never hurt.

"The darkness takes while my light gives, beats back the black where evil lives. Shadows spread and block the sun, but never has such evil won. The light fights on, beats back the cursed, unholy powers do your worst. We put our lives out on the line, standing up for our God divine."

Ok, so maybe it was more than a little corny, but it worked, and it sure as hell rhymed. Plus, hey, it worked. As she proved when the sun beat back the shadows, its light seeming to snake around the shadows, trapping them, lighting up the area so that the sunshine burned, hissing against demon flesh.

Oh yeah, just hear those bastards boil.

Lin gasped as she suddenly saw someone come crashing into the pond. When the person surfaced, she gasped again when she saw who it was and she instantly started to help him out of the lake.

"James! Oh my goodness! Are you alright?!"
