((So, Danni and Ialo vs Satan and Lazareth.... This will be interesting.))
Ialo was aware, on some dim level, that s**t was about to go down. Especially with the epitome of black magic dragon-back charging at him, Danni, and Athena. Thank god for whatever Ophiuchus pricked him with then, because Ialo just did not care right now. In fact, the Headmaster seemed to be chuckling. It was doubtful he was sincerely amused. Perhaps he was just wryly noting the irony.
Whatever he did, he needed to keep his altitude - or take a long detour to the coast.

((Yes, a magical creatures character. She originally had a purpose, but we've pretty much trashed it, so now she's just...there.))
Ok, Danni thought, letting out a deep breath as she rolled her bruised shoulders. Time to assess the situation. She had the king of the underworld after her life, and happened to be riding on the oldest and most ornery Hell Dragon to ever grace Hades. He also had this fascination with summoning countless demons, and the three main members of Hell's Guard, her one time partners, were after her as well.
On her side she had...a soggy enchanted carpet, a hyper yokai, and a drugged young dragon with a case of the chuckles...Ok, so she was a bit beyond screwed. They'd make this work. They had to make this work. How exactly they'd do that...she had no clue.

Gia could only stare as the boy ran off. Concerned, she started towards him, then let out a sigh. She'd just get lost again. Poor boy. She hadn't minded the souls, not really. She just thought of them as magical creatures.

Ambrose smiled at Lin's reaction, nodding. "Yes, I'm sure. Her name's Georgia Saffron. Her first class is tomorrow, I think. I guess the Headmaster was playing copycat or something when he hired her." He shrugged, narrowing his eyes in thought.

Lin frowned. "Well that is unfortunate to hear. Headmaster Enlil should be trying to create his own special curriculum rather than copying another school's. You know, he doesn't seem very confident. He should work on that."

Somehow, Ialo's chuckling seemed to actually calm Athena down, and, though she remained pressed to his scales, her mind began to focus. Glancing back at Danni, she flicked her tail, tapping the other girl. How do this? What I do? Her telepathy was lacking, though she was slowly learning. The idea, at least was conveyed.
Though Athena herself could not see this, her eyes seemed to be glowing red behind the blue coloring. She was thinking clearly for once in her life.

Danni glanced over at Athena, raised a brow. "Stay alive, for one, by dodging anything that looks the slightest bit menacing. And at any and all opportunities, kick some major demon a**. So far so good." She said, then smiled.

'And don't lose your lunch,' Ialo reminded the girls gently. 'I don't usually have passengers.... You know, the one scar on Lazareth looks kind of like a daisy. Huh.' How he was able to see that far, and through the menacing clouds, would forever be a mystery.
'Right, so, I'd say we have the advantage against Daisy and Jill.'

Athena laughed lightly. Somehow, just letting Ialo's mood seep into her calmed her so completely that she felt... almost normal again. Fire? Alchemy? They were two simple questions, things she was offering to do instead of just sit tight and look at the clouds that whizzed by.

"They can use fire against you, so you'd better not. But alchemy...well, that's the frigging s**t, so go right ahead." Danni said, then snickered at Ialo's nicknames.
"Oh yeah, that'll go over well. Wanna go to them instead of cowering as they approach? They'll never see it coming." She said, considering the options.

'Agreed,' Ialo voiced solemnly within their minds. 'I nominate myself... I like going fast.' The dragon chuckled proudly as he rose higher into the biting winds.

"Don't have to tell me," Danni said absently at a vague attempt at a joke, and then clung tight when the wind almost unseated her. It stung when little bits of sand dug into her wounds, but she just rolled her eyes, calling up the power inside her again, drawing it out.

Athena just grinned, her eyes flashing brightly. Pressing herself ever more against Ialo's scales to keep herself stable in the winds, she began to chant, her voice infused with magic and projecting even through the wind that would normally rip it to Neverland. It was in a language that sounded almost like Japanese, but it was at the same time too rough and too fluent.
She began to glow, her power creating an aura that quickly formed to define itself as, seemingly, markings upon her skin that went over even her clothing. She chanted clearly and focusedly--
Below, circles appeared seemingly at random underneath groups of demons. The earth seemed to boil, eating them, then reacting violently and, it seemed, causing the demons to combust.

"Now that is the s**t." Danni said, and decided to have some fun while she was at it. Why not, seeing as she could die at any moment. So when another black vortex opened up in the ground, she thrust her hand out, and a huge cork appeared, wedging itself in the hole and crushing many of the demons.
"I love you, Athena." She said fondly, glancing down at her friend's work.

Lin sighed and just kept her mouth shut. She wouldn't insult Ambrose's opinion if he liked Headmaster Enlil. He probably hadn't known a truly great Headmaster, like Headmistress Krause, so he had low expectations. She unscrewed the top of her water bottle and drank a little from it.
