Mathias couldn't believe his good luck when a bolt came out of nowhere and struck Hfie's arm. He took her moment of distraction to resettle his grip on his blade and shield. He'd been afraid she would tear it from his grasp, but apparently his shield bash had surprised her somewhat into letting go. She seemed annoyed as se tossed the bolt aside and began twirling her chain sword again, and Mathias ground his teeth. As he took up his stance once more, his old teacher's lessons came to him again...

Sometimes you'll run into some fella that likes to fight with something fancy. Phaw, I say! Whatever it is will be plenty dangerous, but more for your nerve than their actual skill. Keep your head and you'll be just fine, lad.

Mathias took a deep breath and willed himself to not be intimidated by Hfie's spinning, spikey chain sword. It was working...sorta. Mathias stll felt sweat trickling down his brow, and he couldn't lie and say it was all from exhirtion. He got a sudden idea and advanced closer to his opponent. Her chain was dangerous and gave her reach, let's see how well she could use it with Mathias standing close in...

Drustwn answered Liora in kind,"Drustwn Belnades." He drew two blades, one from beneath his coat, and the other from over his shoulder. His right hand held his katana, it's handle carved and ornate. His left hand held a straight bladed sword with a crossguard. He held both blades down by his sides and started walking towards Liora as though he were out for a stroll, not seeming hurried in the least, almost bored. His eyes never left her as he advanced, watching for the slightest movement or twitch. Had she been close enough, she might have heard him humming a folk dance song...

Digo's tail lash had failed, as the lumbering monster had stepped to the side to protect his ally from Gene's arrows. Digo saw, though, that the arrows had thrown him off center and charged in again. A bestial roar erupted from Digo's fanged maw as he he threw himself at his opponent once more. He led with his left hand, claws extended and ready to pierce through into the soft flesh beneath his foe's tough exterior.

Kait darted forward towards where the wolf had collapsed and tore her daggers from it's corpse as she skidded to a stop next to it. her arms never even stopped moving as she regained those blades and immediately sent them flying through the air once again, this time at the lumbering enemy that Digo still had yet to subdue. Again she aimed fro its legs, the knees specifically.

Gene also saw when his arrows were intercepted.
He made me miss...
"You're in my way!" Gene yelled out and quickly sent a flight of arrows soaring towards the beast that had interrupted his shots.
Eyes, mouth, throat, shoulders, and knees. Whatever it took to either kill or incapacitate the thing so he could plant some shafts into his true target that was now concealed behind him.

Malkin was being pushed. His enemy was far more powerful than he had anticipated. Only through his enhanced speed and agility in concert with his skill with his weapons was he able to continue avoiding the strikes. He abandoned any thought of counterattacking and focused solely on defense. If he could hold long enough... Either his allies would come to assist him after they had dealt with the other Axis experiments. Or Those very experiments would come to assist his opponent after having dealt with his allies.

TJ managed to push the bolt the rest of way through Isaac's shoulder. He groaned in pain as she did so. With one hand she snatched the piece of bolt from between his teeth while with the other she sliced her index finger with her thumb talon. As the blood flowed free she willed it to become a regenerative solution and stuck her finger into Isaac's open mouth as he gasped in pain.Almost immediately he jerked his head to the side and swatted at her hand, dislodging it from his mouth.
"What the hell are you doing?" He asked indignantly as he spat blood from his mouth. While he protested his wound also began to close. He seemed to notice the sudden decrease in pain and glanced at his injury.
"Shut up. I'm helping." TJ said and stuck her finger back into his mouth.
This time he did not object, and even sucked at the blood as his shoulder knit itself back together. After another moment or two the wound sealed completely and TJ retrieved her finger. She licked it herself to seal the cut that her blood was flowing from and then stood.
She glanced about and noticed the man with the many gears and metal bits on and within his person and saw also that he seemed to have two ballista, one on each arm.
"Son of a b***h." She said as she drew a special bolt from her thigh quiver and nocked it. This one was filled with a blood solution that would explode on contact with the air.
"Isaac. Go see if you can help anybody out." TJ said as she aimed the crossbow and fired it at the mechanical person.
Isaac rose to his feet and brought his halberd to bear again. The woman he had shot didn't seem to have moved. He had been about to behead her before he had gotten shot, and that still seemed like something that needed to be done. Just in case. He stepped up to the woman and again sent his halberd into an arc aimed to remove her head.

Sven took a quick glance around the area and saw that Malkin seemed to be having some troubles with his super-human opponent. Perhaps he could help level the playing field. He took off heading to join in on their battle.
As he neared he gathered the cold, and willed it into form. Ice crystals formed and expanded, spreading in a line towards the 'man' that Malkin was fighting against. Sven clenched his fist and the ice spikes trhust up from the ground aiming to spear into the man with the scimitars

Will wasted no words, darted forward, and sent his blade into a straight left to right slash across his opponents shins, seeing as how she stood on top of the desk.

"Finally." Matt said. "No one left to handle this one for me. To send me on ahead while they hold the enemy back." Matt raised his hands and crashed his right fist into his left palm, sending sparks into the air. "This time I'm going to make you people pay."
Matt surged forwards intending to close the distance and pummel him opponent into submission.

(( Issac was attacked/injured by Gear who shot at him, I figured that was stopping his initial attack since you said he was going for that, didn't go through with it and then was hurt. ))

Xin winced in slight irritation that Hiro had maneuvered away from his sharp icy demise. He was surprised at the man’s agility and his ability to defend and attack equally effective with his staff on a moments notice. As Hiro came at him, Xin dodged the quick high jabs from Hiro’s staff with ease, though was not prepared for the swift low strikes. Xin attempted to dodge them, though it only caused him to stumble backwards to his right side. Xin noticed Hiro’s follow through attack was coming as he fell. Xin quickly collected as much moisture as he could, letting it coat his skin with about an inch of water before instantly freezing it. Xin encompassed his entire body in ice armor the moment Hiro’s staff impacted. Most of the ice shattered, but the initial force was absorbed.

Xin quickly regained his footing and jumped back to safety and took up a defensive stance. His expression was serious now. Xin rolled up the sleeves of his dress shirt. He bent his knees and extended his arms out straight at his sides with his left palm facing out towards Hiro. His opposite arm’s position mirrored his left. He then swung his right arm forward at Hiro as if pushing and pulling an enormous mass. The moisture in the air behind Xin and several feet to his right side was accelerated towards Hiro and his surrounding company (TJ, Gene, and Issac) and condensed into a small wave of water. Halfway through reaching his targets, the wave began to freeze into icicles with sharp pointed ends. Xin hoped to turn the tide with this miniature tsunami of icy blades.

As her allies distracted TJ and Issac, Megan’s wounds were quickly closing up. She had been faking dead until the moment Issac went for the decapitation. Megan’s cell regeneration had made her almost immortal except for the key concept of being beheaded. She would not let Issac behead her. As he swung his halberd down at her, she rolled away of the blade and kicked upwards to her feet. Her black corset still had giant holes in it from the wounds she sustained, though it still managed to cover her. While Hfie got to her feet, she drew an arrow at lightning speed and fired on Issac. She kept a firm grip on her bow instead she needed to block or parry with the sharp metal side of it. “Almost!” She shouted as her arrow flew at Issac in retaliation. Megan had known about Xin’s attack, but was not worried by getting caught up in it. She would just regenerate after all.

Hfie noticed Mathias closing in on her. This was something she was used to and was prepared for. She quickly spun around in a quick circle as he came in, causing her dress to hike upwards and the blades to whip around at Mathias’ shield. While doing this at the end of her spin, she lashed her chain straight down at him, though over throwing the chain so the sword went over his head. Hfie hoped that blocking the chain would cause the sword ta the end to whip down at Mathias’ back.

TJ’s bolt shot swiftly across the battle at Gear. Gear noticed it coming, but unfortunately it was impossible to evade or block with the damage he had already been dealt. This looks like the end for me… Gear thought to himself as the bolt impacted his metallic body. The vial attached to the bolt broke up and simultaneously exploded. A mix of Gear’s actual skin and metallic armor and bolts flew in every direction. The explosion of TJ’s bolt ripping Gear’s body open caused a second larger explosion from contact with inner contents of Gear’s body that contained explosives.

Rhino became under a vicious assault from three enemies as he tried to protect Nhea behind him. It was not looking well for him as several arrows made contact with his flesh that were shot by Gene. The arrows wedged themselves deep between his scale armor. Kait was also too swift for Rhino to keep up with to defend against. Her daggers didn’t cut as deep as intended, but they cut long gashes across his shins and knees in attempt to damage some tendons. In addition to the never-ending assault on Rhino, Digo took advantage of the opportunity and came in for the killing blow. Digo’s claws pierced Rhino’s thick skin despite his evolutionary accomplishments, cutting in deep into the center of his chest. Immeasurable amounts of warm blood poured from his gaping would. Rhino grunted and coughed before he collapsed backwards with a thud.

“It appears that even with our more formidable force we are starting to lose the battle outside the facility.” Zero admitted.

“Sacrifices must always be made.” Ugene replied. “Such as Nhea’s trump card now that she is defenseless and out of options.” He added.

“I have never seen her use this trump card you speak of.” Zero said with curiosity. “What is it exactly?”

“You haven’t seen it, nor have I. And that is because it means she must take her own life as a sacrifice to it.” Ugene explained.

“What kind of beast requires even Nhea to sacrifice her own life to control?” Zero inquired.

“A fiery four legged demon.” Oiva answered swiftly. “I have foreseen it. It appears to be a type of fiend. A chimera of sorts, but bathed in flame.”

With Rhino down for the count and her back to the wall, Nhea was now completely vulnerable. She clutched her two double-edged daggers in her hands and held them up to her own throat as she quietly chanted to herself.

The nearby explosion from Gear happened only a couple feet away from Phear and Malkin’s battle, though did not even cause either of them to break their concentration. Phear even saw Sven’s interference coming despite the distractions. The spike of ice shot up at him much faster than Phear had anticipated, but was able to take the time to swipe both of his scimitars sideways with great force and speed at the icy points before they reached him. The icy spears broke into splinters in multiple directions. Phear accomplished defending the attack, but the goal of it was achieved. Phear was now open to Malkin’s quick strikes.

Liora took up her stance as Drustwn approached, similar to that of a boxer. She clutched her gloved fists tightly, cracking her knuckles in the process. She observed Drustwn. He had range on her with the two swords, she would have to be careful and make sure she could get in close and make her hits count. She did put up a confident front, but she was fairly worried now.

Wilhelmia felt the opposite of Liora. She was not just confident, she was almost certain of her victory. As William wasted no time attempting to take her legs, Wilhelmia jumped off the front desk and over William as his blade swiped under her. While in the air Wilhelmia’s gauntlets burst into flames, though only staying contained to her fists. Wilhelmia landed several feet behind William with a stance similar to Liora’s except with gauntlets encompassed in searing flame.

Oiva hummed a sigh of worry as the three of the Axis ‘support team’ observed the battle telepathically through Ugene.

“What’s the matter Oiva?” Zero questioned her. It was extremely rare to see Oiva become worried, which sparked Zero’s concern.

“KAX09 is about to engage in battle with Ajax. For some reason when I try to seek out their future it shows me nothing. The same goes for Fidessa and her opponent.” Oiva replied. “It’s like destiny is changing every passing moment and disallows me from viewing into the future for even a split second. Something is wrong.”

Destiny is changing? Ugene and Zero both thought to themselves as they tried to wrap their intellectually entwined minds around the topic.

Ajax stood towering over Kiro even from the distance between them in the hallway. He drew his large broadsword from behind him and slowly began to walk towards Kiro. Ajax’s steps sounded so heavy and intimidating to Kiro as he approached.

“I’m surprised you’re willing to face me alone after the last time we met.” Ajax’s voice seemed to echo in Kiro’s head. “You will not be able to escape this time.” He asserted while he seemed to instantly close the gap between the two of them in an instant. Ajax’s heavy broadsword came slamming down from above Kiro. Kiro just barely managed to block it as he crossed both of his katanas above him, though it still knocked him back entirely causing him to have to roll into it and jump back to his feet. The real battle had begun for Kiro.

Fidessa took up her stance immediately when Matt charged. Her palms were open facing Matt with her left out in front and her right in close to her body. Fidessa’s feet were similar with her left foot pointed forward and her right back and to the side.

With Matt almost closing in she shot her right palm forward, pulling her opposite one back. The strike was made premature and not impacting physically with Matt at all, but the point from where her palm struck the air everything seemed to surge forward like a sonic boom. The still air had been shifted into an enormous wave of wind of some kind that cascaded out like an earthquake’s focal point. The extravagant paintings, shelves, and stone sculptures along the walls were torn apart and flew in the direction of Matt as he came at her. Not only was this just a blast of instant wind directed at Matt, but also it felt like it had a sort of energy inside it.

Mathias tucked his shield in tight to his body as Hfie spun. Her bladed skirt impacted with his shield with numerous loud, metallic clangs. Mathias gritted his teeth against the onslaught and doggedly placed one foot in front of the other in an attempt to reach his opponent. He cringed as Hfie launched her chain again while she spun....and blinked when she completely overshot him. He grinned at his unexpected good luck and ignored the weapon, lunging forward with his blade extended. He needed to stop this girl. His shield was taking a beating, and wouldn't take much more...

Drustwn continued to walk nonchalantly towards Liora. She had taken up a scrapper's stance, which surprised him. No fancy weapons or gimmicks? No strange fiendish powers brought to bear? Another time, Drustwn might have felt guilty fighting an enemy that was at such a seeming disadvantage. Years of fighting and battle had taught him differently. Without warning he darted forward the last few steps, crossing his arms and delivering two backhanded swipes at once, one at belly level, the other at head level. He continued humming.

((I apologize for the delay. Been extremely busy as of late.))

Hiro felt the vibration in his hands as his staff struck the ice sheet. He could feel it travel through his hands, up his arms and into his skull forcing him to drop his weapon just from the shock. The staff fell to the ground with a thud as his opponent created distance between them. Wondering what his next action would be he readied himself for the attack.

He furrowed his brow as Xin brought summoned water toward them and nearly laughed. "Bah, I've seen bigger waves than these." he began as he braced himself. A good bath would be nice. However his eyes widened in surprise as the water began to solidify into razor blades. Looking to his side, his companions were still busy with their own conflicts. Without time to properly defend themselves they would be severely injured. There was only enough time to react.

Setting himself between them and the wave of ice blades as best he could he prepared himself. He had promised to do his part in protecting them and he never went back on his word. Placing his right foot forward he shifted most of his weight to the front as if bracing for impact. Instead he took several deep breaths while simultaneously bringing his hands forward in front of his chest. Closing his eyes he concentrated his energy to a small point at his throat. Then cupping his hands over his mouth he let out a mighty yell.

With his cupped hands he was able to funnel the sound forward toward the ice wave in a cone shape which directed and concentrated the sound sending intensified ripples of sound and vibration in their wake.

Malkin saw his opponent take a moment to shatter the spikes of ice that thrust up from the ground at him. Thank you, Sven. That moment was all he needed. Malkin leapt in with his blades flashing and whirling. He aimed his slashes at the wrists, elbows, knees, and neck. He might have been able to land a killing blow, but knew that if he plunged his blade into his foes' heart that the enemy would probably be able to launch at least one revenge strike that could cripple or even kill Malkin himself is return. Instead he aimed for weak spots, intending to disable the enemy, then he could finish him off at leisure. And if his opponent managed a counterattack amidst the onslaught, at least his blades were still free to parry.

Isaac was momentarily stunned when the woman he had been about to behead leapt to her feet, seemingly unhurt, and fired her bow at him at nearly point blank range. Isaac managed to twist partway away and threw his arm up to block.
The arrow took him in the meat of his forearm and punched through to stab him shallowly in the chest.
"Ahh!" Isaac screamed as he stumbled back.
He still held his halberd one handed and pulled the shaft out of his chest by pulling his left arm away from his body. He had to grit his teeth to keep from crying out again. He clenched his hand experimentally and was unsurprised to find that the arrow in his arm interfered and made him unable to move his fingers.
"Well now, you're a tough one to kill aren't you." Isaac said to her, turning to face her again with his halberd braced against his right arm. He'd still be able to swing it, but speed, power, and control would all be minimal.
Crap, crap, crap. I'm barely going to be able to use my halberd like this. And my flintlock's already spent. Crap...

The large bestial enemy finally fell and Digo found his path clear to the one that had been behind him. He growled low in his throat and stepped forward menacingly, then burst forwards. He threw himself at the woman with fangs and claws bared, ready to rip her apart.

Kait stayed with Digo and readied her daggers again. The single woman that the beast man had been covering for didn't seem like she would be much of a challenge for Digo in his savage reptile form. It still disconcerted her that she was allied with something so obviously fiendish, but he was far too useful for her to let him fall now, before he had finished off all of the enemies.

Gene drew and nocked another arrow, but stayed his shot when he saw that Digo had things well in hand on that end of the battlefield. Instead he turned and surveyed the battle. Malkin and Sven were handling the one with the overlarge scimitars, it looked as though they were doing alright. Digo and Kait had just finished the beast and were moving in on the woman behind him. Mathias was battling the woman with the bladed skirt and the sword flail, he seemed to be holding his own alright. Hiro was engaged with the water manipulator and for a second Gene thought that he would have to step in on that battle, but Hiro suddenly displayed an ability which made Gene think that he could hold out for a while at least. He saw TJ reloading her crossbow, and similarly looking for new targets. Lastly he surveyed Isaac, an arrow through his arm and facing off against the enemy archer.
Mine.
Gene aimed and loosed, drawing another shaft even as the first left the string. He had aimed for her in profile, should he hit her anywhere in the head or neck she was effectively done and if he hit her arm or ribs he may well disable her ability to fire her own bow. He nocked, drew, and loosed the second arrow, also at the enemy archer.

TJ surveyed the area and was about to open fore on the enemy archer when she noticed that Gene was already covering that front. Instead she decided to interfere with Hiro's battle. She had already reloaded with a regular bolt since she was running low on special ones. She aimed for the aquamancer and fired.

Just like Matt. No... Faster than Matt.
Will did not hesitate at the sudden appearance of flames on his opponent. He stepped in and again sent his blade slicing through the air in a left to right slash aimed for her midsection. Already anticipating a dodge Will was prepared to continue the maneuver into a low with his trailing foot.

Matt was surprised by the sudden attack and only managed to cross is arms before himself prior to the attack impacting. He staggered back a couple of steps.
Damn, just like Will. Not quite, though. It feels like it hit me through my armor.
Matt spread his arms back out and willed them into flame. Both arms, from fists to shoulders erupted into columns of searing flames.
"Rahhh! Bring it!" Matt yelled in a rage.
He charged forward, sparks and small flames dancing off of him as he ran.

((I think that was everyone... Let me know if I missed anybody.))

Xin’s icy tsunami was blown away by Hiro’s mighty yell. The sound waves had shattered the icy blades and blew them off coarse. Xin stepped back a moment to access his new options. His allies were not beginning to dwindle in number, and despite injuring many of their enemies; they were starting to converge in on them with their numbers. “You’re quite the adversary.” Xin spoke very commendably towards Hiro. “You protect your allies with zeal, I admire your ability.” He added.

“But, I will not be going down so easily and neither will miss Megan.” Xin asserted as he undid his tie from his dress shirt and throwing it away. Again Xin materialized more water and froze it into large icy swords. From behind Hiro a woman shot a bolts at him, which he parried as best he could with his cold blades. One of the bolts got through his defense and was lodged in his right side. Xin grunted and pulled it out immediately and then froze over his wound with ice to stop any heavy bleeding.

Megan noticed the bolts and arrows heading towards her from the two enemy archers. She parried them away with the bladed side of her bow. These minor attacks were not going to take her down. It would take a much larger blade to do her in.

It only took a moment, but that’s all it took for Malkin to land the major blows. There was no cracking or sound or breaking bones, it was an extremely clean cut. Phear’s large muscly arms were both sliced off. The two limbs tumbled to the ground, fists still clutching the scimitars. Phear winced angrily, knowing his mistake was about to be fatal. Phear rushed forward with superhuman speed. He then pushed his head forward towards Malkin’s head in attempt to give him an enormously powerful head-butt.

Hfie was taking a risk at this point, she can only cover so much surface area with her reinforced skin and Mathias could change the direction of his sword at any moment. Hfie reinforced her skin covering her neck, right shoulder, and all the way down around her heart. At the same time Mathias came in to strike, Hfie’s chain whipped back around from contact with the side of Mathias’ shield after being overthrown previously. The sword at the end of the blade was sure to strike both Mathias and Hfie in the upper chest or shoulder area, which was already carefully guarded by Hfie.

((You can choose whether or not Hfie is struck by Mathias’ lunge, her vitals at the moment are mostly guarded.))

Nhea was cornered, but she was not going down without playing her ace card. She held her two daggers firmly in her small hands as she readied them. “It is time. I give myself to you!” Nhea shouted and in one swift motion she slit her own throat, crossing her daggers from side to side. Nhea fell to her knees as her body began to smolder. Within seconds her body lit up in flames and a figure began to take form within the fire. A spirit appeared within the flames, similar to that of a defeated fiend before it is sealed. The spirit then began to step over the spiritual realm and cross over into physical form through the flames.

The beast fully emerged from the scorching fire exposing itself to have four legs, two pointed horns, a face and jaw appearing as a mix between a lion and a wolf, and then a vicious snake tail, though it’s entire body encompassed in searing flame. The beast roared at Digo and Kait. The beast’s saliva dripped from its mouth like boiling water that fizzed as it met the ground.

Wilhelmia knew she was vulnerable in the air, because should would not be as maneuverable, but she had well made armor and a good form of defense. As William’s blades came up at her, Wilhelmia brought both of her gauntlets up and pounded them together creating a miniature explosion knocking William’s two slashes away as well as blocking with her two gauntlets in front of her. Wilhelmia landed with her metal greaves chipping away some of the marble tile on the floor. Wilhelmia then swung both her arms up high and then slammed them down into the tile floor with great force. This broke up much of the tiles and created an even larger explosion that seemed to follow along the floor towards William.

When Drustwn made his move Liora knew it was do or die. She very quickly ducked under the blade that was headed for her face. Liora acrobatically slid into her duck towards Drustwn and the same time falling down even lower underneath Drustwn’s second sword that was aimed at her stomach. The blade came close, just barely cutting a small piece of fabric from her red and black blouse. As Liora slid in towards Drustwn, she clutched her fist with tiny sparks and static fleeing from it as she sent an uppercut straight at Drustwn’s midsection. Her other fist was prepared just the same, if she could land this blow; she would not let up because she would not get another chance like this.

((fyi: Her attacks are electrically charged. Enough to hurt from a touch, but not kill unless held for long period of time.))

Kiro readied himself for his counter attack, “I admit I fear you, but that is because I have a full grasp of your ability.” Kiro began. “On the other hand, you constantly underestimate others. And that will be your down fall!” Kiro roared as he stepped into striking range. Kiro’s blades were so fast they were like flashes of light. Ajax still found no threat in these attacks; he would dodge them with complete precision and with the slightest movement. Now that Kiro was up close and had Ajax on the defense for the first time he was going to use this chance to his advantage. Kiro went for a risky overhand strike, causing Ajax to look upwards to focus on the swords coming at him. In that moment Kiro knew that Ajax would meet his eyes along the way and during that time he activated his Kyto. Kiro’s eyes became dark red with their respective four slits surrounding the pupil. I got him! Kiro thought to himself with a slight smirk as he continued on with his overhand combination slash.

Ajax’s movement slowed. It was expected for anyone to be much slower and even immobilized once under the spell of Kiro’s Kyto. However, Ajax still had the pure strength and power to overcome the weight of the Kyto and parry away the two swords with his broadsword. “I will render your confidence useless as I send you beyond your own fear!” Ajax spoke in a booming voice. It was only a moment, but the very second Kiro’s blades her parried away, Ajax was literally in Kiro’s face with his eyes also dark red with their mimicking four black slits surrounding his pupils.

Kiro’s eyes went wide. He had never considered the thought that this sort of thing was possible. He is using Kyto?! Kiro’s thoughts raced. He had no idea how to react or what to do, not only that, but his movements were starting to feel heavy and slowed. His entire body felt like it was being push down by incredible gravity.

“How does it feel?” Ajax asked mockingly. “How is it being trapped within your own illusion?” The giant man stood invincible in front of Kiro who had been forced down to his knees due to the heavy weight Ajax’s Kyto put on his body. “How… How?!” Kiro questioned angrily.

“Porifera Receptor.” Ajax replied. “I can steal people’s abilities as long as I drink some of their blood. Though, I can only actively use several at a time.” Ajax explained.

“So, back then?! When you stabbed me you obtained my blood…” Kiro shouted, feeling more and more weak as time passed.

“That’s right!” Ajax replied with a large boot to Kiro’s face, throwing him backwards several feet and crashing into small tables and vases that were setup along the walls of the long hallway.

Fidessa was surprised her attack had not injured Matt more internally. The average warrior would have received intense internal bleeding. “Not bad.” Fidessa muttered as Matt charged at her. I will test your strength. Fidessa thought to herself quickly. Matt was almost within range of her when Fidessa stepped in towards him. She swiftly shot her right palm out directly at Matt’s oncoming fist of flames, intending for them to collide. She was quite curious about what would happen if such destructive forces would clash.

"b***h keeps making me miss." Gene growled.
Gene drew three arrows simultaneously and nocked them all at once. He knew that three arrows at once would have diminished accuracy, but maybe he'd get lucky and overwhelm her. He pulled back and loosed at the enemy archer again. As soon as the arrows left the string he dropped his bow, letting it land across the top of his left foot. He bent down and scooped up his crossbow. He drew a bolt and set it in the groove then pulled back the string with the heavy handle built in allowing him to do so. He would never be able to pull back that string on his own. He dropped to one knee to steady his aim and lined up a shot with the archer.

Malkin twisted and spun, attempting to move himself out of the path of the onrushing monster. As he moved he lazily brought his scimitar up behind him and raised it hoping that he could drag it across Phear's throat as he passed.
Sven was also ready when Phear charged and froze the ground before him causing spikes of ice to rise up at an angle in the man's path. Again he hoped to impale the monster, though this time he hoped that the enemy would do most of the work for him.

Digo dug in his heels to halt his charge as he saw his prey slit her own throat and then as she was consumed in roaring flames that rapidly unveiled the form of an emerging fiend.
Oh crap.
Digo knew that he was the wrong person to take on this monstrosity. His scales might give him some protection from its flames, but not enough to allow him to take it on in close. And in close is where his current form was best suited to.
Instead Digo did his best to dart around the beast try to lead it away from the main battle. He looped around it on its right and roared at it as he did hoping to keep its attention.
Kait also watched as the flaming beast emerged from the woman they had been about to engage. And she was a little bit slower on the uptake, as its appearance stunned her momentarily. But then she regained her composure.
"Damn bastards. What other gods-forsaken blasphemies have they all done to themselves.?" She asked herself.
She watched as Digo ran around the creature and decided that he would still need her help. So she tailed him, from a safe distance, sticking to the flickering shadows cast by the fiends flame-engulfed body. She only had a few daggers left, and she knew that she would not be able to make a difference in taking the fiend down with only them, but if Digo ran into a tight spot maybe she could distract it enough to help him out.

TJ was scanning the battle again as she reloaded and saw that Isaac was running into a bit of trouble. Gene was laying down fire at the female archer, though she seemed quite able to deflect incoming arrows. Well, how about if those shots were coming form more than one direction. TJ raised her reloaded bow and fired a bolt at the woman. Even as she was pulling the trigger she was raising the next bolt to her bow. Another one of her special bolts. She drew back the string, set the bolt, took aim, and fired. At Isaac.

Isaac had taken advantage of Gene's flurry of arrows to put a little bit of distance between himself and the enemy archer. He had snapped the arrow that was through his left forearm and puled out both halves with gritted teeth.
He was about to head back into the battle when he took a hit to the side. He grunted, but was surprised to feel minimal pain. He looked down at his side and saw two small punctures in his clothing there and a small splatter of blood. On the ground next to him was a crossbow bolt. He reached down and picked it up. It was blunted and had two small spikes that would pierce shallowly into the target. The core was hollow and looked like it might have had some kind of vial in it that had shattered when it hit, splattering its contents onto him. Only then did he notice that he was holding the bolt with his left hand, and that the pain in it and his chest seemed to subsided.
He followed the path that the bolt must have traveled with his eyes and saw TJ nod at him as she was reloading her crossbow. Isaac nodded back. He turned to go and reengage the woman.

William dived and rolled away from the incoming shockwave and flying debris. As he came to his feet he snapped his left arm out and sent a dagger flying through the air at the woman. As soon as his feet were back under him he followed after it, sword raised and prepared for whatever came next.

((Continue with Matt and Fidessa. From where we are there's not much else left but to continue their attacks and see what happens to them each afterwards.))

Fidessa’s palm made impact with Matt’s fiery fist. Matt’s destructive fist erupted with searing flames like an explosion. At the same time, Fidessa’s palm emitted a point blank shockwave. The two forces met in fierce contest, but with no winner. The force of the fiery blast was absorbed into the massive shockwave causing it to disperse in all other directions besides forward and backwards. This incinerating wave ate through wood and marble on both sides of the hallway, which destroyed walls clean through. The clash was heard over two rooms into the parallel hallway where Ajax and Kiro were engaged in battle. All decorations were completely destroyed in the hallway as well as the foundation of the ceiling above them was starting to fall apart.

The initial blast from the two competitors pushed them back several feet, though still in their original stance. Debris continued to fall from the ceiling and décor as Fidessa loosened up her stance. “That was interesting. I acknowledge your strength.” She said with praise. “I find no more quarrel with you. Go help your friend.” Fidessa suggested quickly as she gestured towards the destroyed walls through several hotel rooms. It was the perfect path to take to rejoin Kiro who was in the hallway just next to this one. “KAX9, I mean Kiro, does not stand a chance alone against Ajax.”

"First tell me where Enyo is." Matt growled out while flames climbed back up his arm to replace those that been extinguished in the blast. "Do that, and then I'll have no quarrel with you either."

"Your comrade is located in the testing holding cell beyond the other hallway protected by Ajax." Fidessa responded. "Just be careful. If Ajax gets some of your blood he will steal your abilities." She warned.
