Sindrellia Honestly Im a bit confused on what to do. Im not sure whats going on or where to roleplay. Too many places to post and Im confused on the different courts. I know you can rp in your own court but do post something different in the main event topic or the same thing you posted?? OOC stuff goes in this thead. "Official-type" stuff you want to make sure the mods see (map corrections, etc.) go in the Sign-Up and Information thread. For RP, think of the court literally for a moment and it makes sense: If you're a courtier in the Duke of Lotharingia's court, that's where you'd post your RP. If you pay a visit to the Duke of Swabia, you'd post in the Duke of Swabia's court and he'd post his in-person responses there too. There are two other threads RP take place in. The first is the Rumors thread for solo RP for everyone to see. Since we can't all be expected to keep up-to-date on things like a back-and-forth dialog in a duchy on the other side of the kingdom, this makes a good place for things like a major development for your character, thoughts on current events, and just a post you want to show off. The other thread is, to use a current example, the Diet thread: Something created for RP that doesn't really fit in a court. Hopefully this helped. This has been one of the biggest issues for new players so far, so feel free to ask if you have any problems at all. smile

This question has been bugging me for a while: Why was it called "lower lotharingia"? It was north of upper lotharingia!

Whew, sorry i haven't been so active lately. I just started my philosophy class so i was trying to get ahead, i hope i haven't been a setback, and i will be around much more again smile

Haha, well as it seems, Guntram will probably end up having faustus killed. The church will burn his pagan wife and their daughter will be married off and Swabia will be assimilated into other peoples duchies....
we shall see though.

I'm beginning to think I rushed into marrying Ralph, when I could have Faustus daughter if I just waited for a while.
Oh, well... there is always the possibility that the Raven gets angry at Ralph for something silly and kills his wife wink

It does not make any sense mrgreen The Upper/Lower isn't based on its location on the map but (commonly) on the height of the terrain. A lot upper/lower tend to be south/north: The Low Countries, Lower/Upper Egypt, Lower/Upper Rhine, etc. It's just a coincidence, though: For example, the Upper Mississippi River is actually north of the Lower.

Take your time and plot carefully. Ralph's power is still weak, settling thing down will take a year or two.

Well, she is his chancellor, so it makes sense. I was on the way of making a new male character for that, but then Demonicurse just gave me the opportunity of filling the spot with one of her already made charsm wich was easier.
