And yet another celebrity has been brainwashed by PETA. It's a crying shame they got to Sir Paul McCartney and now they have Billy Corgan wrapped around their little finger. I think Sir Paul would be disgusted to learn just how many animals PETA kills and how they are all for kill shelters and want to shut down no kill shelters out there.

KaguraSakata Thanks I'll share my bead stuff here, I wound up scanning them I couldn't find a the cord to go with our digital camera. Those are really good! I see you work with the coated wire a lot. I tend to use fishing line. I have really bad luck with the coated wire breaking when I try to put the crimp beads on the ends. Have you had trouble with that happening at all?

No I haven't had that happen yet, I didn't think it could break like that.

Maybe I'm just not using a good quality wire. In any case, I'll probably just stick to fishing line. I use the 8 pound line, so it can take quite a bit. Why can't Gaia make a kimono top that layers so it's tucked into a skirt or pants other than the hikama on the site. I'm so in the mood to make a Hibachi from Mushibugyo inspired look and it doesn't work if the skirt is half covered by the top.

After all the pie calamity, it looks like I lost to Sissy Blade. I hang my head in shame, for I could not defeat the Derp Queen.
Oh well! For some reason I started drawing a comic last night instead of drawing what I had originally intended to draw. xd I'm such a scatterbrain.

Just got home from Star Trek: Into Darkness and it is well worth seeing. Lines were non existent and seats were easy to come by but still get your tickets ahead of time because your theater might not be like my local theater. One thing I advise you when seeing this movie, throw everything you know about a certain space epic with a certain actor with a love for fine Corinthian leather out the window and enjoy this one for the thrill ride it provides.

They threw things out about characters in the first one I'm not surprised they did it again. these new Star Trek movies are essentially AU anyways.

They do give a good enough reason for reworking the canon set up by the Original Series in the first JJ Abrams movie. However, there's a very pivotal scene in both movies, the one alluded to and this new one, that if you think Abrams would play it out exactly the same the second time around you'd be sorely mistaken. I liked that they made a reference to a classic Original Series episode with the Tribble that appeared in the film. My only disappointment was that at my theater they didn't show the little "commercial" that was going to play before the movie in certain places.

I threw out what I knew before I saw the first reboot. But there are things here and there that point to the old, thankfully. The Enterprise looks kind of like how it would have if they made The Original Series now. The shuttlecraft DEFINITELY do. And some of the lines or other little nods to the fans. I'm going to go see it tomorrow with my dad and I'm SO excited for it. Benedict Cumberbatch? Yum. Zachary Quinto? Woooo! Just... so much looks good in this movie. I also saw some interviews with the cast where the lady that plays Uhura mentioned them having to make an alliance with John Harrison? But I might have misheard that. And I'm really curious about the GIANT BLACK STARSHIP that looks like the Enterprise only different. SO MANY QUESTIONS!
