Sissy Blade emotion_donotwant Lazy potato sack's done it again. Stole food, tried to blame everyone else, then he says THIS to his mom... "You haven't done anything for me!" emotion_facepalm She let you in when you were two steps away from being homeless, YOU DUMBASS. Mr. Boyfriend and I were against that, but she did it anyway, because... I dunno... SHE GAVE BIRTH TO YOU. YOU'RE HER SON. And this is how you repay her. Boy, you don't even do your laundry! You bragged about having a job, which you got fired from... didn't even make it to your first paycheck. So... yeah. Hope something'll happen this time, but I doubt it. It's been a Möbius strip for who knows how long in this department. If I said that to my parents, I would get a kick to my butt and get kicked out of the house(thankfully I respect my parents and try to help around the house.Also trying to look for work so I could pay for my own things sweatdrop ). That's an awful thing to say to someone who raised and gave birth to you.

Yep. I don't know what's gonna happen, but I will say this, guys... karma is and will be a b***h when it comes up.
In the meantime, still riffing. Trying to gut out my room so I don't trip over everything (considering that my room's about the size of a cubicle or something, that'll be a feat).
Spoke to my mom about quilting. I enjoyed doing that when I had a sewing class in middle school, so it wouldn't hurt to pick that (and cross stitching) up again.
Oh, and I finally got a study CD for medical transcriptioning. Gonna look at that and see about schooling for it in the fall. Should be nice.

Off semi-hiatus for a while. Finally got an LGA 775 motherboard for my Radeon HD 7770 PCIe 3.0 video card! Specifically, the ASUS P5QC! But... resetting the system cuts off the display, and the computer is still functional. confused Possible BIOS issue, perhaps. Changed S3 video setting just in case. There is no SATA hard drive, and the board has only one IDE channel, so I have no other choice but to benchmark the RAM for the time being.
Sissy recently saw the near-complete build, and wants to test Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition on it before it is used for cryptocoin mining (not Bitcoin). This will have a Western Digital WD800JD 80GB SATA hard drive installed until I can get something larger.

I have another motherboard, an ASUS P5N-E SLI board. It is older, and has support for up to PCIe 2.0 cards. Interestingly, it fits perfectly into my beat-up old-school beige case. lol My P5QC won't, however.
This board was untested, but I took the chance anyway, because it had a CPU and cooler installed on the board. Fiddling with this system, and it works... with an [old!] S3 Trio64V2 PCI card. neutral
Upgraded the BIOS to the latest as well. Right now, it is in storage with my other mainboards. I cannot use it right now.
I would probably use nVidia graphics cards with this board, however, because it seems buggy with AMD/ATI graphics cards.

Plans to get a 6x hard drive ATX case are next for an old Tyan server/workstation mainboard, because that will be my workstation unit. For now, it's the gaming/mining build, and other things:
* 'Broken' Promise RAID PCI cards. Capacitors have broken off the two cards, and they all will have to be replaced. Very likely functional.
* Determine a possible fix on the XFX 750i SLI FTW board I received. Board shows red light when connected to power supply, turns on for a split second then powers off. CPU pins are bent, but not broken (since back in place), and needs cleaning. Otherwise, will use the connectors on the board for working boards.
* Clean my room, as computer components are everywhere, among a whole bunch of stuff.

Edit 21:05: Fixed the video not showing issue just now. I was an idiot and messed with the PCIe/PCI default card settings in the BIOS before benchmarking the RAM. Changed them back to what they previously were, and the system behaves like it should. Also, the 80GB hard drive is arriving tomorrow! biggrin Gotta get my Windows 7 x64 DVD!

Well, there's a song that is sung, and it's different for each country, though some of the words are the same. The song is very short in length and it describes a little about the country who is singing it. I wanted the song to describe a little about Team Barton. I suppose we could be like a country and stuff and say what our national food is... I don't know. It depends on all of us.

Rocking out to my hard copy of More Than Just a Dream from Fitz and the Tantrums. May is officially an awesome month. Two kick butt movies worth seeing (one out last weekend one coming out on the 17th) and a way awesome album from one of my favorite newer artists out there. Seriously, they're getting all kinds of success as are the guys at their little record label because Dangerbird records is a part of the Electra family now.
Seriously, if you've never heard Fitz and the Tantrums give them a listen. They have this really funky retro soul funk early alternative R&B sound to them that is ah-mazing. And now I go dance some more. xp

The mining mini-build is finally finished! Didn't bother to activate my legit Windows 7 install yet, as I run experimental and new installs for a few days beforehand. The 80GB WD800JD drive is in impeccable working condition despite the interesting packaging through UPS.
Now onto the Tyan board... Found out I have a flagship model Tiger MPX 2466N-4M board! As there are MP 1600+ CPUs installed, and the BIOS originally installed was the initial release. emotion_eyebrow And my nVidia GeForce 3 Ti-200 graphics card went MIA! eek
List:
6x 500GB Western Digital Enterprise RE3/RE4 SATA hard drives (some RAID, probably 50?)
computer case which holds at least 7 HDDs
2x AMD Athlon MP 2600+ or 2800+ CPUs

Mr. Boyfriend's (or "Pookie's", in case Yuusha's reading) brother has done it again.
I don't know what happened (because I don't live there, therefore, I don't know all the details), but he was given an account at his former job for a payroll. Then there's a messy loan with two banks because he doesn't know what he's doing. He can't pay it back because he has no job, obviously. AND NOW HE MAY GO TO JAIL BECAUSE OF THAT.
Iosef was right. He doesn't know what "independence" means.
*throws hands up* I give up. I don't know anymore.

Well, I can't rag on you if you're trying to be independant, but there's other reasons/IRL issues preventing you from doing that. I totally understand. There's a difference between that and being just plain stupid. And what my boyfriend's brother's doing is just plain stupid. That's why I'm not feeling sorry for him too much.
