When Nereus gave her the tranquility, the minty-haired Reyvateil graciously accepted it. "Thank you!" She beamed at the human, feeling her energy come back quickly and feeling replenished. When Rinna spoke up and marched up to the terminal, Nel cocked her head to the side and followed Rinna up to the control panel. "If it's quite all right, might I observe you?" She asked quietly. "I'm curious about all these commands and everything." She pointed to the numerous flashing buttons on the panel.

~*Rinna*~ "Hmm... I dunno if that's a good idea, Nel. Only Reyvateils with the right authorization should be able to look at this and watch me do this up close. If I showed any old person how to get into the Tower, there could be problems. Not to mention, giving out my Hymn Code is a no-no too." She frowned in apology.

Nel reached forward and tapped on a button of the terminal. She gasped when the terminal went completely crazy and started beeping. "Oh! Oh, no what'd I do!? What'd I do!? What'd I..."
There was a flash of light and when it faded, a Reyvateil in Linkage armor stood before them with long green hair. She turned away from the party, paying no attention to them as her hands went to work immediately on the terminal, typing in her authorization code and password. She then spoke. "Wee ki gagis exec enter Ar tonelico ADDR Fa Ciel art NELIA_ANSUL_SOL=FA/. [I execute entrance into Fa Ciel's Ar tonelico Tower by means of my authorization code: NELIA_ANSUL_SOL=FA/.]" She turned to everyone and spoke evenly, in a much different voice. "You desired access into the Tower, did you not?"

 I am the Light of this World
The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ "Gannon..." Hikari breathed in appreciation for his interceding between herself and Aaron. The Reyvateil unconsciously took a step closer to him so that now they were touching. His being so close to her reassured her, the Reyvateil realized. Just then, Nereus handed her the Tranquility and she smiled at him. "Thank you very much, Nereus." She said, turning and accepting it. She used it and immediately felt much better. During this time she missed the conversation between Rinna and Nel.
Yes, she felt much better until Nel reacted with the terminal and before her stood someone she most wanted to see, yet at the same time least wanted to be reminded of, ever again.
"It's... you..." Hikari trembled and half collapsed on the Teru beside her due to a tumultuous mixture of emotions. "No... it can't be... not after what I did..."My Song is a Shining Light

Aaron growled at the Teru for cutting him off. "Hey, look you, what do you plan to do if they pull a stunt like that again, huh-?" Though he was cut off again when Rinna yelled at him. He fell silent, angrily fuming and watched the scene before him. I was only worried for her safety! Geez, now I know how Mom and Dad must have felt when Nereus and I took Hikari to play by the Tower and they'd yell at us...
Nothing could have prepared him for what happened next. First, Nel was standing there fooling with the computer by the Tower and the next, she'd been replaced by a Reyvateil in Linkage gear. If he didn't know any better, he would have guessed that she was a dead ringer for the Goddess, Nelia. The Legendary Reyvateil of Fa Ciel. But that was impossible, wasn't it? After all, the FPD's had exterminated her just prior to Hikari's escape from the CPG.
Then, he knew it was true from Hikari's reaction. No doubt in his mind, this was Nelia, the Origin. Now he knew why the CPG Corp had been tracking her. And to think, the little girl 'Nel' he'd protected, befriended and had been travelling with had been the world's missing 'Goddess' all along. Oh, how ironic and cruel fate could be sometimes. With everything.

The younger of the twins stood there, watching the scene unfold before her. She then realized that Hikari seemed to be feeling pain in her arm and approached her from behind to use her healing spell on the Reyvateil. However, she completely froze in shock when Nel disappeared before them and seemed to transform into a completely different person.

The elder of the twins observed the scene with folded arms, coolly taking everything in. Pieces of the puzzle started coming together in her mind the more and more she'd seen. So the kid was that Goddess that everyone was goin' on so much about, eh? She thought. Well at this point, nothing more could surprise me, I suppose. We've been finding out secrets left and right today. What's a few more things? Everyone else seemed to be shocked into silence, so she felt a light-hearted, albeit stupid joke was in order. She whistled. "Yo, Nel, nice duds!" She called out with a smirk.

The Teru was ready to respond to Aaron, when they were interrupted by the young girls. Guess she told him. He chuckled to himself as Rinna turned and walked to the panel to open the door followed closely by Nel. Gannon turned his attention back to the human, but before he had a chance to say anything, there was a flash of light. His hand went to his blade, wondering if they were under attack again, but when he saw what caused the flash, his hand froze. "T-the Goddess...?" There was no mistaking that armor. He'd heard about it enough in the past from... Hearing Mana's comment snapped the Teru out of his trance-like state. "Mana!" He quickly turned to Nelia and spoke in Hymmnos. [We're overwhelmed with gratitude for your help.]

~*Rinna*~ "Wait, Nel, don't touch that~!" Rinna called out to the other girl but to no avail. Suddenly, a light flashed and she blinked twice and then rubbed her eyes to make certain that she wasn't mistaken. No mistake about it, the Reyvateil standing before her now was none other than Nelia, the Origin who she'd gone down to find, along with Rhemi and Rhaplanca. "No way... Milady?"

Silence hung in the air for a few moments. Nelia's long, wavy green hair blew in the gentle breeze around them as she gazed back at the bewildered faces of her comrades. She turned her attention to the half-blooded female Teru after her comment and glanced down at her outfit, frowning slightly in confusion. "I don't understand. Is something the matter with my current attire?" When the full-blooded Teru male reprimanded her and then spoke to Nelia, she turned her gaze back to him. "[I'm afraid that I don't know the details of your situation. However, I would be happy to assist you in gratitude for awakening me.]" She nodded toward everyone else as she stopped speaking in Hymmnos. "It appears that I was with you prior to being awakened. I do not recall anything other than... a Song of Destruction. And humans."

The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ At hearing Nelia's words, Hikari gasped and stepped out from behind Gannon. She stumbled forward a few more paces and fell to her hands and knees before the Origin. "Presia... was wearequewie ra fogabe yor...[Please, I beg your forgiveness...]" She cried. "It was all my fault! I am the one responsible for the injuries you suffered. I sang that Song, and I have no excuse." She couldn't bring herself to look up at the Goddess as she spoke, shame filling her. "You may see fit to punish me anyway you feel you should. But, I beg of you, please, let me help them first." She waved an arm back behind her, gesturing in Gannon and the others' direction. "Let me help them save Melody. Then, find Rhaplanca. Once I've done all I can to atone for my sins, you can take my life if you wish." She whispered.My Song is a Shining Light

Seeing Hikari on the ground and hearing her words, Gannon was at a complete loss. The Goddess was here in front of them and Hikari was begging her for forgiveness. He was about to say something when realization hit him. Hikari's cosmosphere. Combined with several things the Reyvateil had said over the last week, it made sense. He crouched down next to Hikari and wrapped an arm across her shoulders. "It wasn't your fault. None of it. You were forced to sing against your will." He tried to calm her down, but was unsure what to do. What if the Goddess decided that Hikari was the one at fault after all? If it came down to it, Gannon seriously doubted that they'd survive the Goddess's wrath, but if it came down to it, Hikari wouldn't be harmed as long as he was alive.

The half-Teru chuckled at Gannon's chiding. "Aw, come on, it was just a joke. And Goddess or no Goddess, Nel is still Nel, so I don't see a problem. Right, Nel?" She winked at the Origin in front of them. She waved to Gannon non-nonchalantly. "No need to get so stuffy, geez."

The Origin Reyvateil regarded the Third-Generation in front of her for quite some time. The girl was all but sprawled out at her very feet. Then, the Teru had knelt down beside her, explaining more to the story. "I see now. You were one of the Reyvateils who attacked me with that Song. Along with those humans." She frowned, considering the Teru's words once again carefully before choosing how to speak. "Very well. You say that you regret what you've done?" She knelt before the Teru and FPD. "Then you must follow through with what you've promised to me. There is a young woman named Melody who needs help, am I mistaken? And Rhaplanca must be found. Yes... we cannot afford to lose Rhaplanca..." She stood and turned away from them all. "If you truly regret your faults, then you must use your power to help me save this world. Each day, the power of Ar tonelico wanes. Each night, Fa Ciel approaches the end where it will be cast into the Sea of Death." She moved to stand beside Rinna. "I want to save this world no matter the cost. However... Once the Tower reaches its limit, my base programming to safeguard the Tower above all else will activate, and I will be forced to purge Fa Ciel and every living being on it." She turned to the group in front of her. "Before the situation can come to that, can I rely on your assistance?" She asked them.

She murmured. "I already promised Rhaplanca that I would help her, because I wanted to atone. I will go. I will sing. I will do whatever it is you ask of me. I'll keep on singing, I'll keep on fighting, even if it's hard. Even if it kills me in the end. I don't care!" The blonde turned to smile at the Teru who had an arm around her shoulders in a comforting embrace. "Gannon... It's a lot to ask of you, I know, but... would you stay by my side for... just a little longer?" She stood up and faced the others in the group. "Everyone...? Would you be able to come along on this journey with me?"My Song is a Shining Light
