Umm... since I was sorted early, (in july) since now it is the fall term, am I a second year now? or still a first? i'm kinda confused, if you can't tell.

I'm not actually sure about that. It may depend how much of last term you were a Gryffindor student for, or on what you would prefer to do (either become a second year or stay a first year). I would suggest PMing the Gryffindor head of house, Miss Love Tantei. You could also check to see if there is a list on the first page of the Gryffindor common room that says what year everyone is in, if it's been updated (I know there is in our common room, but not sure about the Gryffindor one).

Cabinet hasn't been updated yet. Sorry. It's going to be a few weeks until the guild gets everything organized again.

You are officially a First-Year.
Hopefully every list (including the House-elf list) will be updated this month. Not only that, but we've created a new version of the Cabinet that should be easier to read.

So I'm about to revamp the house colour aspect of the rules to make it more clear. Here's my thoughts on the subject...
House-elves: Indigo or Default
Gryffindors: Shades of red or Gold
Ravenclaws: shades of blue or shades of brown (I can't find bronze :O)
Hufflepuffs: Orange or Bolded black
Slytherin: Green or Silver
Graduates: ....whatever they want? I figure they've pretty much earned the right to choose their font at this point?
Thoughts? Anyone?
