Eternal CalibanCaliban rubbed a hand over the side of his face. He really didn't want to be having this type of immature conversation right now, even if the headache was starting to go away. "Then what was the point of asking in the first place?" He muttered to himself. He didn't care if the other answered his question. He sighed. This was not a good first meeting. Though the Boyscout's outfit really didn't help with it. He only nodded his head at the other's comment about being around for a while. "Caliban. Haven't seen you either, but I can't say that I see a Senshi a whole lot anyway." He thought about it for a moment. "Seems we're usually too scattered anyway, even if we all have phones that we could talk to each other with." Not that he was one to talk. He did have about a year and a halfs worth of a hiatus. Not something he was proud of, but the ever-present feeling of evil was still on his Homeworld and he had been wanting to avoid it for as long as possible. He still hadn't been able to go back yet. And if he did he would be killed anyway. So the only way to go back and survive was to see if he could get the help of any others. If they wanted to see the Princess they could. He didn't really see the point, but then again he wasn't really a people person. "Yeah, I think it's safe to say that the Negaverse is letting up on this little plan of theirs."Guine He's angry with his headache, not with Oberon ------------------------------------------------------- General ArsenopyriteAh, so that's what it was then. She didn't appear to really get the gravity of the situation which meant that he probably wouldn't have to use his weapon, but he still needed to make sure she didn't hit him. She was still holding that broom after all. He put up a hand waving it in front of him as a way to show that she didn't need to worry about him. "It's the type of education I'm getting that isn't allowing me to sleep that much. But hopefully it should all be worth it." He didn't want to say what type it was. Even if she appeared to be ignorant, she could still be trying to gather information from him. "And also yes, yesterday, I already spend most of my time studying, and she's on the other side of the country so that makes it a bit hard to do and yes, I think that would be a good idea, I can have them ordered and delivered online." He said. It was all true and it was still vague. He wasn't really bothered. After all, the point of this was to distract the Princess, not so he could go around roughing up Pages who were his grandparents age. The broom was still a problem though. Guine sorry for the multi notices! ------------------------------------------------------- Lieutenant EveiteShe made sure to exit out of everything and make sure there was no trace of her computer being in there. Unfortunately for them, they didn't have any security in place to stop spoofing. Too bad, then they might actually realize their systems had been attacked. She gave a quick pet to Epsilon and talked into her communicator. "Eveite here, Scheelite, along with Epsilon. We'd appreciate an evac please." And she would have to get a splint for her leg at the very least. She wasn't sure how well her healing worked, but she doubted that it would heal a possibly broken leg within the next 24 hours.

General BenitoiteHaving gotten to his feet and reclaimed his stability he found himself eyeing Cybele for a moment, eyes narrowing as he sensed a shifting in the tides, before he smiled towards Ganymede. "So you say I'm worth saving. You are right though - I'd never turn. I've no reason to, your side has nothing to offer - you have nothing to offer." What was the point of becoming a knight? So he could tote about some useless item and weild a bit of magic that was mostly useless as well? Knights were absolutely useless and nothing but servents to their designated senshi, as far as he figured it.
"Why would I want to join the side that'll wind up losing in due time? I'm not much for losing."
Turning quickly to face Cybele he couldn't help himself, couldn't help when his voice came out like a slap with how harsh it was. "If you keep crying I'll slap you. Pull yourself together, this is not some coffee clutch of friends. You have a job, as do we all, unless you've forgotten or decided to turn on us." Which if she had he would be happy to show her just what happened to traitors, especially those who did so publically. "You will mind yourself or I will bring you back into order." Hissing his words as he held tight to his spear. He would not tolerate such behavior if it continued. Clearly she was feeling something and clearly she was about to turn sides - he was certain of this. This was no act on her part.
Then the orders came - they got whatever they needed and would be retreating? What had they been after that had them retreating already? Grinding his teeth, despite his want for some rest, he was sure he could keep going. All it would take would be finding some useless little senshi and comsuming their staseed. That should be enough energy to keep him going in a fight. he might not be able to beat a princess but he could certainly do some damage - and he very much wanted to. He wanted to show how much he enjoyed her magic being used on him.
He knew when to follow orders though and as much as he'd like to fight the princess, even if it meant him coming out of it a bloodied mess, he knew others would need an easy way out of this fight. Stepping back he pulled out his own communicator. "General Benitoite - anyone needing a teleport out let me know." Oh how those words were bitter on his tongue even as they fell pst his lips. A dark look soon took up residence upon his face, gray eyes narrowing as he looked down his nose at Cybele.
"You should watch you steps and consider your future with the Negaverse. All of this" Gesturing about them to show what he meant. "might have one wondering about your loyalties...and you don't want people to question those - I can assure you of that." He let the threat hang there, for now, he knew some might question his own loyalties but he felt he'd done well in proving himself since that long abondoned mission of his.
"Ganymede...we'll find each other again on a battlefield I'm sure." And he wouldn't be pulled away from ehr before he could bloody her, and perhaps rip off thosee pretty little wings of hers.

Super Corrupt MiyamotoShe was like a trapped little mouse, and she knew it, he was on one side and two other corrupt senshi on the other. He answer to that was astonishingly stupid - and flawed. Watching the green haired corrupt leap after her, and unleash whatever magic they had on her, he felt his lips twitch up in a smile. Silly little senshi.
"Need any help with that one?" He asked, nodding to the senshi they'd both managed to attack magically. "I can't teleport everyone, you'll need someone to help with that, but we should bring her in. I'm sure someone will know what to do with her." Perhaps make her into one of them...or just yank her starseed - he didn't care either way really. A use would certainly be found for her.
"I still have some magic left to use on her if she decides to fight us." He also wasn't apposed to hitting her in the head hard enough to knock her out, he wasn't interested in some senshi putting up a fight - he didn't have the patients to deal with such nonsense. He wanted to get this done with, see her sent off to someone, and head back to his little place so he could sleep...or draw - likely draw.

Squire SumnerThe wave of nausea was finally settling down and he felt like he could stand up without falling over his feet. He did so slowly, just to make sure, and only let out a sigh when he was fully back up again. He could only now make out what the two male Senshi were talking about and it wasn't until Sumner was addressed that he could really understand it. He did nod at the other's question. "Yes, we've met a few times. What's going on? Is she in trouble?" If she was he would go over and help her if he could. Guine Sorry for another one! I forgot Sumner!

Corrupt Sailor CymophaneCymophane stopped with the page’s starseed in hand as Kamacite’s voice came through the communicator.
Should he feel proud? Because he felt proud. Was that patronizing? Probably not, so long as he didn’t make a big deal about it to Kamacite, right? Like this, Kamacite didn’t sound all that nervous or shy; he always seemed more confident when they were powered up than when they were their normal selves.
If he could get Yuuri sounding like that without the magic and the flowing robes, Misha would count it as a success.
“I haven’t seen him,” Cymophane responded. “I’ll have to look around.”
Which would probably take time since he couldn’t teleport, and if they were supposed to be evacuating…
“On second thought… hey, Jet!”
But he was facing down a Squire (Pendour) and an Eternal Senshi (Takamizawa). Cymophane let out a huffy breath that shifted the bangs over his forehead.
“Sorry to interrupt, but someone needs to look for Faustite and it would probably take me forever! You’ll know him when you see him if you don’t know him already. It’s kind of hard to miss all the fire.” And speaking of fire… “Taenite and I can handle these two while we wait for evac.” Cymophane offered another one of his cheerful smiles.

Sailor PerditaSlowly, Perdita recovered from the Corrupt Senshi’s blinding attack. She blinked through the spotty vision and swayed a little on her feet, overwarm in an outfit that usually felt light and airy, almost sick to her stomach.
By the time she could see again, the Corrupt Senshi was long gone.
Something was happening, though. Some shift in the atmosphere. The amount of Chaos was beginning to dwindle.
Already? Not that Perdita was complaining, but she half expected a prolonged skirmish. Did the presence of a Princess scare them off, or was it something else?
“I’m Perdita,” she offered, almost as an afterthought, glancing around the area to seek out any agents roving about.
She found it hard to think. A lingering effect of the blinding magic, maybe? The entire situation was a bit disorienting. She shifted a little closer to Oberon, hoping it was obvious that she intended to follow him, wherever he went.

General JetJet sneered at the voice of the Squire. Ah yes, this girl. The one who thought she was better than everyone because she didn’t like hurting others and whatnot. The same old song sung by so many White Moon, and yet they all turned to violence eventually. Or they gave up. Or were brought into the Negaverse where they were more useful. If all else failed, they could be tossed into the Rift for the youma.
“Is that supposed to be a threat?” he asked cooly, his hand clenching around the starseed even as she reached out to grab for his arm. “Stop it, or else what?” he asked, his lips twisting into something of a grin. With his other hand, he quickly reached out to press against her chest, into her chest, his hand knowing exactly where to find the starseed and squeezed.
“Ah ah ah,” he said to the fast approaching Eternal Senshi. “Make the wrong move and your girlfriend will never wake up again.”
Really, he would much rather take the Senshi’s starseed, but since the Squire was so kind to come right up to him…
Ah, but Cymophane had more important matters for his attention.
Jet’s eyes narrowed at the revelation that Faustite was apparently unaccounted for. He thought the name was familiar, but there wasn’t much fire that he could recall. He assumed the strangely fluctuating aura in the building might be the missing General, but he would have to check.
I need you back here to take these two back to Negaspace. Cymophane and Taenite, Jet thought to Aquamarine. He knew his partner wouldn’t like it, but he knew he would listen.
“Lucky for you,” Jet said to Pendour, leaning close to whisper into her ear. “You’re not worth my time. Make sure your kind knows to stay out of the Negaverse’s way,” he said as he gave her starseed one more painful squeeze and then removed his hand. He pulled his other arm away from hers so he could step back and teleport.
And it seemed like it was a good thing that Cymophane wasn’t the one going around looking for Faustite, because he wouldn’t want anyone else stuck in the building when it was going up in flames. He covered his mouth and nose with his sleeve but coughed anyway. The sprinklers were raining down on the continuing flames, and the alarms were deafening further into the building. He could barely see through the smoke, but after a minute or so of searching through the debris he found the crumpled form of what must have been General Faustite. Unable to determine any injuries at the moment, Jet reached out to try and shake him. He could feel his aura, so he wasn’t dead, but he wasn’t in good shape.
“Found him,” Jet said into the communicator to Cymophane, coughing again as he tried not to inhale the smoke.
“Are you conscious?” he asked, not wanting to lift him without permission unless he had no choice. stari_maga Sorry for the hit and run. They can play some other time, but Jet is busy. SSBrosB Jet would love to play with you, too, some other time.

PavoShe thought she cleared them. She heard shouts behind her as she touched down — magic, by call — but she didn't know what effects she would be facing. Pavo touched down. She told herself to move forward. Move beyond the corrupts.
But she wondered, then she realized, there was another way about this. She didn't need more allies to take down these corrupts, she only needed her head. She only needed a little more insanity boiling up around them and they would all attack each other. It was simple, yet so terribly obvious: the Negaverse was always climbing over each other, always at each other's throats to take the next win for themselves. Give them the possibility of a win, and all three would forget about her in favor of attacking each other.
That was it. That was all she needed to do.
"Fine." She tossed her hair over her shoulder as she about faced, all glittering coins and their soft cacophony. Her footfalls were steady as she approached them. "You want me? Come get me. But only one of you can take me back to your kind. So who's it going to be, huh? Winner takes home the prize." She smiled.
Oh, she had them all figured out.noir songbird no pavo, that's not how this works sleet tempest snape that's not how any of this works

General FaustiteHe heard Puck's voice, but agony made its home in his head, and it rinsed away all meaning to his words. The fire alarms screeched their rigid song as his ire was put out, the cubicles left charred and smoking. Still he did not move. The break in the sprinkler heads' assault was painful when Puck stepped over him. He couldn't decide if he wanted to clutch his head or his chest.
The headache of Puck's signature retreated, leaving Faustite with the hundred thousand splinters of glass impaling his brain. His body fractured — shoulders broken in half, collapsing like a brittle vase into his chest cavity, while that collapsed into the bitter cradle of his mangled ribs. His starseed was dust.
He was sure of it.
Another voice, its aura nearly a balm were it not another exacerbation of the skull-splitting migraine that besieged him. Risking another stab through the retina, Faustite chanced an eye open, saw his body hale in its periphery, and saw the bleary image of an unfamiliar General.
Teeth grit and vocal cords so taut they might snap, he muttered, "it's broken." He was sure of it. His bloodied hand, the bitten hand, clawed against his sternum. He could pull it out, he knew. The thought promised relief. Wrench free the broken parts and suffer no longer. He was sure of it.
His hand sank in. He was sure of it. His chest was a glissando flutter of hyperventilation.
He could not speak, but his eyes said all that he needed: help.

[Corrupt Sailor Mirzam]
Mirzam landed, heels clicking on the ground, and grinned. Sure, the Senshi seemed to want to run--but it seemed the dual whammy of her magic and Cleeia's had halted her in her tracks. Besides, there was now a third with them, and she flashed the handsome Corrupt a winsome smile.
"Oh, lovely, hold your magic--let's see what mine and my dear little brother's does to her."
Pavo's little offer was considered, and Mirzam tapped her chin, thoughtfully.
"Hm, you're right! Only one of us can hand you in." Then, she spun, and blinked doeishly at Miyamoto. "Sir, you're our superior officer, what do you think?" She asked, tone all honey sweetness. At the same time, she jerked her head at Cleeia, and nodded for him to move. They could occupy the girl's attention for a little while, and give Cleeia some time to move behind her.[Corrupt Sailor Cleeia]
Cleeia gave Mirzam a nod back, and started moving wide, prepared to get in behind the Senshi. It would be a terrible gamble, but perhaps, if he could get close enough, he could pull her starseed--and then she wouldn't exactly be able to argue with them about where they went.
It was a smart plan--he just had to hope that this third Senshi, the one that Mirzam was currently making her best doe eyes at (blech, trust his sister to try and flirt with anything that moved in her vicinity) wasn't the hypercompetitive type, or if he was, he was 1) attracted to women, and 2) swayed by pretty eyes.

Princess GanymedeWith the youma dealt with, Ganymede gave her full (but occasionally divided) attention back to Benitoite, trying to ignore the itching, burning patches on her arms and legs. She watched Benitoite, listening, her expression serene, undaunted by his words. She did not fear him as much as she would have feared a General as a younger Senshi. Over the years, she’d grown better at containing her emotions, too. Perhaps the memories helped — all those visions of another life, and the person her starseed once belonged to. Combined with her current life, they offered invaluable experience, the likes of which a mere General could not boast.
“You should treat your allies better,” Ganymede warned him, riled by his treatment of Cybele, by his threats toward her, but disguising it beneath an even temper. “You wouldn’t want them to turn on you. If your downfall doesn’t come from one of us, it’ll come from one of your own.”
The Negaverse surely thought they had the upper hand with their ranks and their procedures and their punishments, and perhaps they did under circumstances that required those things, but they should be careful not to creep too close to tyranny if they didn’t want open rebellion among those ranks.
Someone might lose their head.
“Run along now, General. You have your orders,” Ganymede said. Then, “Cybele...”
She did not turn toward her. Ganymede kept her eyes on Benitoite while speaking to the Corrupt Senshi, unwilling to ignore the danger he posed until it was gone.
“It’s alright, Cybele. The fighting is over. You can go, and do what you must. Don’t give Benitoite a reason to harm you. He doesn’t care for your well-being.”
I do, she wanted to say, but she didn’t dare give Benitoite more of a reason to turn on Cybele. She hoped she’d already gotten that sentiment across before, that Cybele would know it was true even without the words passing between them.
“Remember the invasion,” she said, but with her eyes trained on Benitoite, it was unclear if the words were meant for him (a threat), or for Cybele (a promise). “Remember what I’m capable of.”Sleet Tempest Snape They definitely gonna be limping around the battlefield years from now, gray haired and ancient, still snarking at each other. stari_maga COME BACK CYBELE IT'S OKAY

Scheelite and Epsilon=========== Speed was vital here. An orderly retreat could turn into a massacre extremely quickly, and it was not something the General was in any hurry to see. He pushed aside thoughts of the Blood Moon Court...shoved aside the sounds of wind and shattering glass that so often haunted his dreams, and simply focused and pushed on.
Those who encountered him in the final moments of this mission likely heard the humming of an unnamed song. Snippets of a tune that held meaning to so very few these days, and yet he swore he'd continue to give it life.
His weapon had been summoned into his hands, the giant crystalline guitar being used to clear a path to those who needed him. One sweep of it was not enough to cause injury, but enough to shove those blocking the way aside. Scheelite tore through the scene, beckoning those who could follow him to do so as they continued on. His guitar was dismissed as it became necessary to use his hands to assist the others.
Finally his path stopped atop the roof where Eveite and Epsilon had been performing their part in this operation.
"Hey there, need a lift?"
Epsilon, who had ben winding his way around Eveite to 'guard' her while waiting for the evacuation, quickly hopped his way up to Scheelite's shoulders to hold on. With the Mauvian settled, Scheelite gently lifted Eveite into his arms and teleported the group back to Negaspace. First aid wasn't exactly his thing, but he'd make sure to get her settled somewhere comfortable until they could grab someone with more skills in that department.SSBrosB Evac done! If you'd prefer he didn't pick her up just let me know and I'll edit! Just wanted to help get her settled somewhere. Quote: I left it open that other people could fill in as the generic people Scheelite gathered, so feel free to have your character be one of those he grabbed to teleport back to Negaspace.

General Benitoite"I do treat them better - I invite my allies to supper and into my home. This one however seems to waver....not the ally I want when on a battle field. They need to be loyal." Something Cybele didn't seem to be at the moment. As no one had called for hia teention, surely a good thing, he kept his focus on the princess as well as the corrupt senshi in question.
"If she turns on us it isn'tbecauseof this. You see her - you are not blind. I don't think you so stupid as to not read things the same way I do." That Cybele was likely to turn anyway, without him having to say a word. She had been showing those signs even before he'd opened his mouth. He wasn't needed here to turn the tides with Cybele - she wasn't cut out for the Negaverse as far as he could tell, and he was sure those here saw it as well.
"You." Turning his focus onto Cybele. "Need to make your choice, then watch your back once you've made it." Because he kenw she'd return to the other side. He would find her in a battle and he would deal with her. That said, his point made, he did head for Arseno. "Come, lets go. No more playing with the little page." Sunshine Alouette Oh god yes! Eternal TakamizawaBefore he could react the General that she had grabbed had his hand in her chest and saw red. He growled at the General threatening him. "You b**tard!" Kami yelled at him and was ready to say his Eternal attack but hesitated. He wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to do it at the moment. If the limb that felt numb was the one in Pendour's chest, if it was no longer controlled, did that mean it could get stuck there killing her anyway? It was something he didn't want to test at the moment. But then the General seemed to hesitate and Kami wondered what he could possibly be doing, until he got closer to Pendour and appeared to whisper something to her before he took his hand out of her. Immediately Kami ran up to Pendour, grabbing a hold of her shoulders in case she fell. By the time Kami looked up again, the General was gone and only the Corrupts were left. He could feel himself wanting to punch the Corrupt who said they could handle him and Pendour. He wanted to sneer, but it wouldn't be seen through the mask anyway. He decided to wait to see if they attacked or see if he could get Pendour out of this situation without having to take on two Corrupts at once. Guine Takamizawa will remember this

Squire PendourShe probably should have expected it. He was a General who she knew had better reflexes than her, who she knew was out for her blood. Still, she couldn't just see a life in danger and not try to do something. She froze as soon as his hand entered her chest, staring. Pendour was no stranger to magic, or violence, or pain, but despite her broken body, her soul had stayed untouched all this time. Something twisted deep in her mind before the pain even hit. Then he squeezed, and it felt like her entire being was going to fracture into a million pieces. She whimpered and bit the inside of her cheeks to keep from screaming, thinking of Kami on her heels, not wanting him to fall into the same trap trying to save her. Then the General was whispering something to her, but in the moment she could barely process what it was. She just bit deeper when he squeezed again, blood pooling in her mouth and tears pricking her eyes. Then he was gone, and Kami was there to catch her as she swayed. Her chest ached, and her mind spun, but the corrupts were still there. The situation was still desperate. Retreat, he'd said. She just had to buy some time, then. Her hands trembled, but she summoned her ocarina and put it to her lips. Guine Soon she'll be able to stand up to him a bit better~ Sunshine Alouette Magic - When Pendour plays her ocarina, the negative emotions of those within five feet of her fade and are replaced with a feeling of pleasant relaxation. One can shake the effect with enough concentration, but it can serve as a distraction for those who would do Pendour harm. She can channel this magic for 45 seconds.
