Gannon… 
Gannon put on a burst of speed, closing the distance between him and the girls rapidly. "Get down!" He called out as an unmistakable humming sound filled the air. "Tower guardians!" It was always a danger this close to the tower, but he had hoped that they'd be able to get in without any fighting. Looks like that plan just went out the window...

"Kari! Nel!" Aaron shouted, pulling his blade and charging in right behind Gannon. "Get over here behind me!" He looked up only to see half a dozen Tower Guardians descending and preparing to attack the three Reyvateils.

Nel let out a cry of fear and tripped, falling to the ground behind the other two Reyvateils. She covered her head with her hands as she lay sprawled out on the ground. "Ahhhh! Why are the Guardians attacking us!? Didn't you say that you were a ß-type, Rinna? Why would the Tower Guardians see you as a threat?"

~*Rinna*~ "Then the rumors were true," Rinna said softly. They mentioned at home about the Tower Guardians running amok around the time that Nelia disappeared, and then again when my sister vanished... Then two days ago the rumors of a virus... Just what is going on? She frowned. "I have to do something!" As a future generation of Life-Giver, I may not be as strong as my sisters but I can't stand idly by, either. She took a deep breath, spread her arms out and activated her song magic.
A bright burst of light appeared above her, but then fizzled out like a dead fuse. "Eh...?" She sweat-dropped. Rinna shook her head and tried again. "Fou ki ra sonwe sarla sos granme manaf ciel! [I will fairly concentrate on singing a song for the sake of protecting the lives of the world!]" Again, the spark of life for the magic started, but faded away almost instantly after. "Aaaghh!" She screamed, taken completely off guard when one of the Guardians landed in front of her and Hikari.

The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~
She had effectively protected the other girls but left herself open. Hikari coughed as she hit the pavement. She quivered as she tried to move herself into a sitting position, knowing that as they were, she was the only Reyvateil capable of singing. Nel seemed to be too terrified and Rinna's Song wasn't self-sustaining. "Help..." She whimpered, trying to stand. "I... need to... get up..."My Song is a Shining Light

Mana heard a commotion and saw the girls being attacked. By then a few other Guardians were landing. "Damn it! See what I mean!? Reyvateils attract trouble!" She groaned, pulling her guns out and immediately firing them at the Guardians. "Yo, we could probably use one of you three ladies to start singing for some harmonics anytime soon!" She shouted at the Reyvateils.

Aaron was torn. His sister had been struck down while protecting the other girls. She didn't appear to be too badly injured, but the other girls were in more immediate danger as they had both of the Guardians on them poised and ready to strike. He gritted his teeth and leaped in front of Rinna and Nel, blocking the blows with his broadsword that were intended for the girls. "See!? This is why you don't run off!" He scolded Nel and Rinna. He fully intended on reprimanding all three of them when this was over. He grunted as he struggled with the weight of both Guardians trying to overcome him with their sparking blades. "Shockwave!" He shouted, swinging his weapon. It knocked them back only a few inches. Damn... harmonics would be nice right about now... He turned back to Nel and Rinna. "Since her Song didn't work, Nel, now would be a good time to show me how well you can sing."

Magical energy crackled around him as he kicked off the ground and leapt through the air. Blades of ice formed from his hands as he landed on the back of the Guardian nearest to Hikari. He stabbed the blades down into the Guardian, between the armor plates. "I'm gonna tear you apart like a tin can!" The Teru roared as he attacked the Guardian over and over before being thrown off. He landed flat on his back, but was quickly back on the attack. "Hikari, get back!"

Nereus Nereus saw three guardians in front of the three girls and ran as fast as he could. "There is something I can do to at least assist them." He then thought of the invention he was working. "Maybe...yes I'll use it." Nereus took out his blade and ran to where Hikari was and took a defensive stance. "You okay?"

Ina Ina saw the guardians attack the blonde girl and was wondering if she should help out. She even wonder why she was here in the first place. Ina then look at her eye and knew that she had to put up with all this. She electrify her swords and push any guardians around her and stood beside the blonde human.

As he approached the front door of Rhaplanca's house he became increasingly nervous, "Does this world also reflect her feeling's for me?" He found himself hesitating mid-reach of the door to knock.The door of Rhaplanca's house opened to reveal her in a short kimono.
"Oh hi. Sorry took so long, are you ready to go?" she averted her gaze. It seems she was a bit uncomfortable in this outfit.Ishira was struck by the cuteness of the outfit, "You look... very pretty, it suits you well," he glance awkwardly sideways as well rubbing the back of his head."This is what is traditional worn after all," she blushed a shade f pink, "We should get going.""Of course," they walked to the festival in awkwardness. Finding it hard to look at each other. After a bit Ishira tried to diffuse the tension, "Is this your first festival?""Mmm-hmm, I don't get much free time from work," she admitted and seemed to loosen up a bit, "Have you ever been to a festival?""Where I grew up there was practically a festival everyday. The Teru celebrate a lot," he shuddered at all the festivals he had to help prepare for. As they approached the many colorful lanterns and tents he was struck with nostalgia, "This reminds me a lot of my childhood, I have actually honed my skills at carnival games over the years. I never lose a game," he winked at Rhaplanca, "So if you see any prizes you like just let me know and I would be happy to win one for my lady," he bowed dramatically.Rhaplanca blinked. Normally she would blush at such grandeur but the gesture was just so comical in those host clothes. She couldn't help but giggle, "Alright, I will hold you to that promise," the evening went smooth after that. They tried fried bread and various other treats. Rhaplanca shrieked in horror/delight from the sword swallowing street performer that was represented by Mana. Ishira snorted in laughter at the sight. Rhaplanca was enjoying a bubble tea when something caught her eye at a game stand she practically dropped everything to rush over to the stand, "Oh my goodness it is soooo cute!" she cooed over a stuffed bunny plush, "Oh Ishira, can you win that one?" she pointed emphatically. Practically leaning over the side of the stand.Ishira inspected the plush. It was kind of endearing to see this side of Rhaplanca, "Sure thing," he said motioning over the stand owner who happened to be represented by Miko, "How much for a go?""First one's free, after that it's 1000DP or 5000DP for 8 tries," she smiled jubilantly.Ishira summed up the game. It was the one where you had to toss a ping pong ball into a tiny fishbowl. There were several fishbowls packed tightly together and there were three different colors of water, green near the edge of the group, blue just inside that and a few red directly int the center. Ishira glanced at the toy that caught Rhaplanca's eye, "Which color water do I need to land in for that one?" "The red one."Of course. Ishira smirked, "Ok you're gonna regret that first freebie," he said confidently as he held out his hand for the ping pong ball. Once 'Miko' handed it over he took a time to eye up the toss, "Here goes," he tossed the ball and it seemed to land inside the rim of a red bowl but bounced off with a 'tink'. Ishira's eyebrow twitched in frustration. It's like that huh?"Oh! That was so close!" Rhaplanca pouted and slumped over the side of railing."Oh ho, that was close. Would you like another try?"The game was rigged. The rim of the red was smaller than the ping pong ball. Ishira had seen this trick several times over. He knew not to point it out though, "I'll take just one more try," he said coolly."Certainly, sir. Good luck!"Ishira pretended like he was taking to focus on the layout of the fishbowls again. He rolled the ball in his fist at his side. Really he was crushing the ball a tiny bit at a time so as not to be noticed."C'mon I believe in you!" Rhaplanca cheered at his side, "You're lady demands that plushie!" she joked.Ishira smiled, lined up the shot again and let it fly. The unmistakable 'plop' sounded this time. A swish."Whoo-hoo!!" Rhaplanca cheered excitedly, "That one ma'am," she pointed to the bunny plushie.'Miko' was obviously surprised and dumbfounded from Ishira's win, "S-sure..." she slowly took the toy down and handed it to the eager Rhaplanca who immediately clutched it tightly, "Congraduations," she said mechanically.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" she beamed at Ishira.
"It's was nothing, like I said I'm a pro," he grinned with boyish charm and scratched the back of his head.
"Thank you, Ishira, really," she said again more softly as she looked into his eyes, "I had a lot of fun today. I wish everyday could be like this... with you," Ishira barely had time to blush when a paradigm shift erupted from the stone ruins, "A paradigm shift?" she frowned, "I'm not ready to leave yet."
Ishira frowned in return, "Honestly... neither am I but don't worry, I will be back soon, okay?"
She nodded with a bittersweet smile on her lips, "Okay," she let him escort her the light. The walk was quiet once more until they were standing before the paradigm shift, "Ishira... I.. um-" she bit her lip and took him by surprise when she embraced him. It seemed like forever and such a short time at the same time. Slowly he reciprocated the embrace silently, his cheek rested shortly on her head. Soon after she stirred and pulled back with a blush, "Come back soon," and with that she hurried off into the paradigm shift leaving Ishira to process what just happened.
"I suppose the way you feel would produce this outcome," Kunoichi Samurai appeared with a sigh, "It can't be helped, I will remain the lesser desire. This will hurt Rhaplanca in the real world should she have to carry out her destiny as the life-giver. Are you prepared to allow her to suffer so deeply should it happen?"
Ishira closed his eyes and let the pain of being torn between the choices sink in, "If there is any way to keep Rhaplanca happy and free in her life I will find it. I may be selfish but I can't accept this for her. I will just have to find another way to keep Fa Ciel afloat so no one has to be left alone with this burden."
"I respect your decision but understand that your choice will most likely cause a paradox as you proceed onward," she explained, "I feel as though I should help you while I can because from here out, Rhaplanca will have no control over the occurrences inside her cosmosphere. You will start to see dangerous emotions and I probably will not be the same by the time you reach me either," she smiled sadly, "Please remember that no matter what you come across later on I am still depending on you to stop Bewitching's viral feed."
"I remember and I won't forget," he assured her.
"Good," she answered warmly, "For what it's worth I am really glad you dived. Now get going," she smiled as the paradigm shift took in Ishira.

Nel was immensely grateful for Hikari's help and she nodded her thanks. But her relief soon turned to fear for the other Reyvateil when she was struck by the Guardian. "H-Hikari!" She cried out, reaching her hand out as if she could touch Hikari and tend to her wounds. She barely had time to process that she was still in danger before Aaron jumped in the way of the oncoming attack, shielding both her and Rinna from harm. She hung her head in shame as he berated her. "I'm sorry... really... I know, it's our fault that Hikari got hurt." But then when he asked her to sing, her mouth dropped open. How could she have not thought of that from the beginning? Rinna had tried to sing and even Hikari had used some short burst form of Song Magic to save their behinds just moments ago. "Yeah! I can sing!" I only know one Song, she thought in frustration. I can't sing to heal any of Hikari's wounds. Ugh, I feel so useless right now! Oh, well, I have to try anyway. She nodded to Rinna and then called over to Hikari. "Follow my lead, okay!? I need you guys to help me with this Song!" She clasped her hands together and started to sing.

Once the Song began, a red glow started above the Singing Reyvateil, which would slowly start to grow the longer she continued to sing and the more Reyvateils joined in on her Song.
((Don't worry too much about it! If you can't make it on tomorrow don't stress out! We're patient people. Last thing we'd want is for you to collapse from exhaustion! heart ))

~*Rinna*~ Rinna couldn't believe how ashamed and disappointed in herself she felt. She clenched her hands into fists and gritted her teeth. She was supposed to be a Life-Giver like her sisters and she couldn't even manage a simple Red Song Magic? Even if she was young, she still didn't see that as an excuse. I know I won't be as strong as some of my sisters, but I at least thought I would have been of some use down here. Maybe I shouldn't have come down here... She almost started crying, ignoring the human as he chided her and Nel. But she snapped out of it when Nel announced that she needed her help to sing. Rinna nodded. Okay, so she wasn't able to fully sustain her own Song yet, but she could help sustain someone else's at the very least. She closed her eyes and concentrated on Nel's hymn, allowing the emotions flowing from it into her. It was a very simple Song and so it wasn't long before Rinna could match it with her own wavelength. She started accompanying Nel in her Song, adding (if only a little) more symphonic power to the magic.
While singing alongside Nel and listening to the other Reyvateil as she sang, a strange feeling overcame Rinna. Who is this girl...? She feels so familiar and her Song... I feel like I know her voice...((Okay, more posts tomorrow. I can't post as everybody tonight. I gotta get some sleep. I'll be on posting before work for sure, though! Good night! ^-^))

The younger sister had fallen behind everyone else, being unable to run as quickly as them all. After all, she was more a magic user and archer, preferring to rely more on her mental strength and stamina over her physical. She panted as she caught up to them, only see the Tower Guardians around them. Nel had started singing along with the other Reyvateil and Hikari was currently stumbling to her feet. It didn't take long before Miko put two and two together to figure out what had happened.
She didn't have time to process it, though. One more Guardian landed behind her and she ducked out of the way just in time before casting a quick lightning spell in hopes to short circuit it. It wasn't effective and she jumped back beside her sister. "Thanks for waiting," she snapped at Mana, holding her bow out in her defense as it swung at her again.

Mana rolled her eyes at her sister's complaints. "Trust me, you weren't missing much," she retorted, before swinging her weapons about and shooting her sister's assailant point blank in the face. "Heads up, Sis!" She shouted. "Look sharp!" She leapt up onto Miko's shoulders, doing a flip in the air using her body's gravitational pull to kick the Guardian's face into the ground, stomping on it as she landed. She chuckled and brushed her hands cockily. "See? Nothin' to it!"
There was a furious beeping sound and it began to tremble beneath her before shooting back up to right itself, knocking Mana on her butt. "Ouch, Dude, that was uncool!" She whined, rubbing her offended rear. "So you wanna play it that way, huh?" She pulled her guns out, this time using the bladed handles as weapons. "I'll cut into ya and use your scraps for bullets!" She shouted, charging at it.
