Kai turned to see where Ialo was decapitating a handful of zombies with a single swift movement. He gasped seeing the zombies disappear within themselves. "Ialo," Kai called the feminine secondary voice echoing with his, "Get ahold of yourself!" The white magic around him bolstered as he prepared for the worst. Many of the zombies around him were burning in an unseen Fire, their decayed skin peeling away layer by layer.

"watch your back pup, these things like to swarm." X yelled over his shotgun's blast. He pushed a few Shells (there happy?) into his rifle.

Athena did not hear X's warning, so entranced was she in her own actions. She let the magic take over, let it fill her, and foretold its course in her chantings. Raising her hands to the sky, and circling herself in place, she called upon fire, the element of her ancestors, and willed it down. White-hot, furious, engaging, she used alchemy, magic, and fire to her pleasing. This was only a test of a theory she had developped, but it was working so far.

Fire reacted with the particles in the zombies, magic amplified the reaction, and the zombies fell to her. As the sun dipped lower, and the moon began to rise, she became more frenzied, and her power more unpredictible in its strength. Some fire would not need the magic at this rate. It would obliterate without extra power.

Athena's eyes began to glow, and markings revealed themselves upon her face and forearms, glowing in red and purple.

Kai sighed Blinking as he remembered somthing extremely important, there was a overheated core that was about to blow less then two miles away from where they were. "Damn it Let's finish these freaks off we gotta get outta here." With a sigh the Cleaves in his hands started to glow bright yellow, the air around the party glowed Buzzing as light and dark magic fought against each other for control of the surrounding area. White sparks exploded in the air like lightning In a storm.

"Let's Do this!" Kai smirked, his voice now completely overshadowed by the Angelic back voice and through the sparks It was obvious by the Pure white wings and flowing Robes Kai had just Changed into his (or her if you want to go into it) pure angelic form. Far shorter then The human form She was a golden blur as She rushed into a crowd of zombies.

(I seriously need to find some pictures of my characters)

"Hey are you insane?" X muttered Pressing his shotgun to the head of Flaming zombie, pulling the trigger watching as It's head burst into a Pink mist of gray matter.

What happened next in the life of Alec Leaton, quite possibly no one could have guessed. Alec had felt the giant explosion of dark energy coming from the courtyard outside the school. He had rushed to the window just in time to see Riser pulling off some sort of ritual, and saw as a new, black arm was growing where his now (apparently) severed arm had been.

Alec stood at the window in shock for a few minutes, just staring at the scene. Alec couldn't believe that Riser would actually pull something like that in front of an entire school of children, possibly harming them if not warping their minds considerably.

That was it. Alec had had it. Over the course of 5 days he had endured more than he had ever had to deal with in his entire life. Yes, he had dealt with hard stuff, and some of the things he'd dealt with dwarfed these events in comparison, but he had had time to cope with them and keep his emotions and thoughts under control. This was simply too much crap to deal with in such a short amount of time. Alec literally threw his hands up in the air in defeat. "That's it, I'm going on vacation."

Alec quickly teleported back to his room, packed a duffel bag full of clothes and other essentials, and wrote a quick note before teleporting back to Ialo's office. He left the note on the desk and promptly left in a puff of smoke.

The note on the desk read thusly:

Too much drama happening around here, even for me.
I'm taking my vacation hours now.
Feel free to yell at me after I get back and I have an awesome tan.

((Alright guys, this is the last post I'll be able to make as Alec for the next 2 months. I'm shipping out to boot camp for the Coast Guard. They don't allow any kind of interaction with the outside world except for mail, and I doubt I'll be able to keep up with MFHS through snail mail.

Keep it real guys! And try not to blow up the school while I'm gone. Alec fixed it once already, I don't think he wants to do it again.

Riser began to laugh as he calmly strolled through the crowd, eviscerating any hostile mutant instantaneously with his new arm.
"Shut up kid, just because I'm researching this doesn't mean that I myself was the cause of it."

The mutated humans around them began to spurt and trickle blood from their orifices as they attacked; blood could be seen pooling beneath their skin, even in their eyes.

"Look at them you deluded idiot, look at their physical and psychological symptoms. Vicious mutations, violence and or confusion, loss of higher cognitive functions, mild to severe hemorrhaging. You should know damned well who's behind this. Think!"
