Relinquishing hold on Mia, the halfling nodded in agreement. "Yeah, we gotta get a move on if we're gonna help Melody at all." She stood and pushed ahead, moving up to where Aaron was. "Come on guys. Miko, look lively!" She clapped her twin on the back. "Ner, Hikari, Nel, Ina, let's get yer rears in gear!" She nodded to Aaron. "Lead the way, dude."

"Yes..." Hikari responded and followed after the half-Teru and the human boy. Despite the situation, with everyone worried for Melody and Aaron's obvious discontent, she felt ashamed to admit that she was looking forward to seeing the house that Aaron had grown up in with his precious sister. He had spoken of her often and so highly of her as well. They had been so happy together until she vanished and was presumed dead. She didn't know much about what happened to his other family. He had mentioned that his parents were deceased as well but nothing much more than that. Hikari wondered what could have happened and how he could have come out as a sole survivor in his family. Maybe, just maybe some of her questions could be answered once they arrived...

Ishira was on the edge of consciousness when he heard an automatic door slide open. His eyes flew open to find Snow in the doorway with a hand on her hip. Instinctively he grabbed for his naginata but his hand met nothing but a cold leather couch. A small grunt of despair escaped his throat but he rose to his feet anyway. Darting his eyes to Rhaplanca then back to Snow, he decided to keep his calm, "Who are you, and where is our stuff?" he glanced around for Yue for the first time in two days and his anxiety grew more intense, "Have you seen Yue? H-he's my familiar- I think we may have gotten separated..." what was gruff defense crumbled into deperation, "And Rhaplanca's still asleep... where are we? Are you with the C.P.G.?" with that last accusation he was back to defensive Ishira.

Snow

Snow was growing visibly irritated by the barrage of questions. She cut him off at the thought of her being acquainted with the C.P.G., "Hell no I ain't with those C.P.G. bastards," she retorted, "Stow it with the inquisition I don't have time for that s**t, kid. Your pet is in the dive pod with the girl- the little s**t wouldn't separate from her," she waved her hand dismissively after Ishira visibly relaxed, "We've landed in Seraca and you'll be given your things back as soon as we kick you out. Which will be as soon as she wakes up," she pointed to Rhaplanca, "Pretty boy said you need to dive into her again, right? Get to it, I this ain't a bed and breakfast, I need you both up and out of here yesterday." The automatic door slide open again and Renove stepped in.

Renove

"Oh ho, good morning Teru boy! 'Bout time you wake up, eh? I see you've been greeted by the welcome wagon that is my dear Snow," he grinned as Snow rolled her dark eyes. Renove walked over to inspect the dive pod and rubbed his chin and sighed, "The lassie still out, eh? Means you're gonna dive right?" he looked to Ishira, "Of course, despite what my love says, do take your time. However, once you two are finished you will need to leave. Nothing personal, it's just we already ain't really looking for more charity projects. Our friend is quite enough- with him dragging us up and down the tower," Renove sighed exasperatedly and scratched his chin.

Ishira was in disbelief that these two polar opposites were a couple. He slowly walked over to the dive pods beside Renove, "And you are?" he prompted.

Renove smirked, "I am Renove the infamous pilot of Skylore, the fastest airship in the sky. This is my lovely fiance Snow, she is my first mate, my right hand and the best damn mechanic in Fa Ciel. She custom built this beauty of an airship from scratch so understand why she is a little testy with strangers around her baby."

Snow rolled her eyes, "Whatever, if you're going to be so damn hospitable you can supervise their dive. I have better things to do, Renove, my parts are in. If you need me, please by all means, don't ask. No really- don't," and with that she turned on her heels and exited the room.

Renove chuckled, "That woman, I swear. I wouldn't have her any other way though. Behind every great man is and even greater woman after all," he sighed, "Alright boy, you better get to it. I'll be around to 'surface' the two of ya when you're done so don't worry."

Ishira wanted answers before he would set foot into the dive pod "I still have some questions. There was another guy here earlier- where is he? You know he's with the C.P.G. right? So tell me the truth are you two C.P.G. or not? If so why are you helping? What ulterior motive could you have?"

Renove simply stone-faced Ishira and replied, "Snow and I are not with the C.P.G. that much I can tell you in all honesty. As for anything to do with the man you spoke with earlier I will not divulge a word about him. It is not my place to do so. However if you insist on the topic of that gentleman I can provide you with some very colorful falsehoods if it would entertain you," a shadow of a smirk played on Renove's, "However, I really think you should accept our generosity thus far and attend to your reyvateil, kid."

Ishira sighed, this wasn't getting him anywhere and Renove was right. Rhaplanca should be first priority. But what the mysterious man said earlier was picking at the back of Ishira's mind. Rhaplanca is the replacement life-giver. Ishira's heart has never been heavier. It just couldn't be true. Rhaplanca was just investigating the cause of the current life-giver's weakening power - that's what she said anyway. After all the current life-giver has only been singing for 6 years and they usually last for a few hundred.

Ishira's head was spinning, this was too much right now. Focus on Rhaplanca. "You're right, thank you, Renove. My name is Ishira by the way, and I am grateful your generosity. I hope to have us out of your airship soon," he said as he entered the empty dive pod.

"Good luck, kid," smiled Renove as he sealed Ishira's pod and activated the dive.

Never before had Hikari seen Aaron look so terrified and grief-stricken. She came to stand beside him and peered up into his face. "A-Aaron...?" She asked, putting a hand on his arm in an attempt to get him to face her and snap out of his daze. "Aaron." She tried again, tugging slightly on his arm.

Her face brightened considerably and she smiled. "Show me, then, Aaron! I want to see the home where you grew up with your precious family!" She gave his hand a reassuring squeeze. She looked at her surroundings. The house was a two-story ivory colored house, surrounded by a fading white picket fence. She could see part of the backyard from where she was and she noticed a tree perfect for climbing with swing tied to one of its thick branches with a rope. It seemed frozen in time, along with the happy memories that Aaron must have experienced living here with his beloved family. She swallowed hard, wondering just how much more she would learn about Aaron as he took her through his family's home.

The younger of the twins watched the exchange between Aaron and Hikari. When they walked inside together, she sighed and decided to take a quick peek at the house too. She found herself walking down the main hallway and stopping at some family photos on the wall. On one she squinted her eyes, trying to better make out the picture in front of her. A beautiful blonde woman, a well-built young man standing behind her with a mischievous grin on his face, and two little children standing in front of them both. A young blond boy and a little blonde girl who couldn't have been older than three years old. "That little boy... was that Aaron?" She mused to herself. What a cute little boy! But that little girl... His sister? She bit her lip, studying the picture very carefully.

The Reyvateil's eyes widened. "This belonged to your mother and you're giving it to me?" She shook her head and tried to give it back to Aaron. "Of all people in the world why would you give it to me? I can't accept something so precious as a memento of your mother!" Her cheeks reddened in embarrassment. What does he mean by this? Did his mother want him to give it to his girlfriend or something...? Does that mean...? Oh, no! I'm not mentally ready for this yet! Her face flushed completely cherry red at the thought and then she remembered Gannon. "I'm... sorry, but I can't accept it..."

He refused to accept it back and shoved it, this time more forcefully into Hikari's hands. "I know you don't understand it right now, but it belongs with you. Trust me on this. Mother would have wanted you to hold onto it." Aaron sighed and looked at the blonde Reyvateil in front of him. "If that still isn't enough then consider it as an apology for what I put you through, Hikari. And how I betrayed your trust and friendship. It's my little way for trying to make up for what I did... Please, will you at least accept it?" He bowed his head slightly, holding his breath and waiting for her response.
