Nereus "Well, I wish I could tell you everything, but the thing is that I can't even remember. What I will tell you though is all that I can recollect." Nereus relax himself as he tried to remember and decide where to start. "Ever since Hikari was taken away, I did all that I could to join C.P.G. I wanted to infiltrate and eventually take her away from there. Which was unsuccessful for there was a bunch of FPD under quarantine and the majority of them were named Hikari." Nereus pause for a bit before continuing. "Also, there was little to no time to look for them, since the position I got was nowhere near them. The little chances that I did have was for maintenance, keeping the machines in check."

"I didn't even recognize you at first there, Nereus," Aaron said. "By the time I realized it was you, I acted like I didn't because I didn't want to blow my cover." He turned away. "Of course you had the same idea I did." He sighed. Lot of good it did us. Or Hikari for that matter. He couldn't afford to mope for long. "We need to get going if we're going to save Melody."

???

Once Ishira was out cold the man's mask that is attached to his defense skin receded below his neck. He let out a heavy sigh and straighted, tossing the vial into the garbage. Pinching the bridge of his nose he made his way over to the stabilizing pod Rhaplanca was in. After a brief moment of gazing at the recuperating Rhaplanca, he placed his hand over the glass and rested his weight partially on the pod. His shoulders slumped and he dropped his gaze to the floor, "I would dive myself and fix this in an instant but I doubt you'd ever let me back in. I wouldn't blame you... after all, it should be me in this man's place," he mumbled turning his eyes back to Ishira then back to the floor, "I hope you forgive me someday, but I could never accept the fate that was given to you or Rhemi. I would rather see the land fall than damn you to her fate. I'll be back for you and your hymn crystal once I find a way to weaken the Chronicle's defense system. Maybe then Rhemi and you can be reunited... even if there is no room left in your heart for me."The door to the room slid open and a buxom blonde woman entered. "Renove's landing us in Seraca, it's pretty much the only piece of land that isn't crawling with C.P.G. s**t," she said distastefully with a hand on her hip. "Snow, I have always appreciated you being so frank," the man smirked as he straightened and turned away from the stabilizing pod.."A sky pirate really doesn't need manners," Snow waved her hand dismissively, "If Renove can deal with it so can you, frankly," she said the last word mockingly, "I assume you'll be taking off as soon as we land, pretty boy?" she sighed, "You know the drill then, be back tomorrow morning before dawn or we'll leave your scrawny a** here and you can find your own damn way to Hecce," there was no malice to Snow's communication with the man, she really just is a foul mouth. The airship could now be felt descending into Seraca port. "Shouldn't be a problem, but there are a few places that I want to check out. The church's archives might have some information that I couldn't find in the C.P.G.'s database." he answered while moving toward the door, "I'll check in with Renove in the cockpit to see if he needs anything from the city, what about you?""Booze, and lots of it," she shrugged, "a speed enhancing grathnode wouldn't hurt if you're feeling generous. I will wait around here until one of them wakes up then I'll throw out the unwelcome mat and kick their asses out before long," she walked over to Rhaplanca's pod and inspected the monitor, "After that I need to perform routine maintenance on the engines so I won't have a chance to head into the city myself. Renove will probably stick around here too so I'm sure he'll appreciate you running a few errands for him too," she sauntered over to the desk, plopped into the chair and began typing into the holographic screen above the desk, "I have an order coming in for new parts so I will have plenty to keep me occupied while I run a diagnostic, so get a move on pretty boy," she said while becoming more engrossed in the screen. Snow is a well versed mechanic and built this airship from scratch- even the dive pods she took the liberty to enhance like the one Rhaplanca was in now. The man simply nodded and left the room. Communication with the airship duo was much more at ease than exuding superiority as one of the C.P.G. directors. Renove and Snow have grown to be very trusted allies. As he made his way to the cockpit he could feel the airship stilling. They had pulled into port.

Gannon…
Gannon crossed his arms and stood there for a moment, letting their stories sink in. The Teru wondered briefly what the chances were that all this was a coincidence. He doubted that there was a single gambling den in the slums of Daila that would take those odds. "Alright. I'll buy this fer now. Question is... What now? You haven't told her that yer her brother, and Nereus here hasn't said anything either. Have either of you thought how this is gonna affect her if we stumble in there and she has a relapse?" It was a very real danger. In their condition, if the Reyvateil went berserk, there was a good chance that someone in their group would not survive.

Before he had the chance to reach for the keypad the door slide open to reveal a broad chested man.Renove "Maoh, my boy! I was just about to fetch you," he said as he firmly clapped his hand down on the man's shoulder and grinned widely, "This old man is itching to stretch his legs but Snow has me cooped up in here for another day at least. Something about a diagnostic test- whatever, I am just going with it. You know what they say: happy wife happy life... though she never would entertain the though of marrying this old man," he laughed heartily then paused and scratched the back of his head with an apologetic look, "I'm getting off track again aren't I? The point is I need you to pick up some supplies in the city for me," he said handing over a list, "Best be on your way if you want to get to any sight seeing yourself," he laughed nervously. Maoh rarely heard anyone call him by name. He had not given C.P.G. his birthname and was usually referred to simply as Director. After glancing at the list he was beginning to regret his generosity, "Are you not planning to port for the next month?" he asked incredulously. The list was almost enough to completely stock the storeroom."Nope. At least not for supplies, anyway. Especially if you are having us tote you all the way to Athers eventually," he explained while handing him a satchel of leaf, "This should cover it and then some to pay for the delivery fee. Now off you go," he said as he smacked Maoh's back, "Don't worry about our guests, they'll be sure to get the full extent of Skylore's hospitality, eh?" "I don't care about the Teru boy, but treat the Reyvateil with respect. She's... an old friend," he muttered as he walked away and headed for the exit."Aye, boy, the lassie will be taken care of," he assured. OOC: I missed you guys too emotion_kirakira

--Aaron Leon Cecil--
Aaron turned away from Gannon. "She won't relapse. The reason why is simple. Hikari isn't my sister." He sighed. The little girl who was my sister no longer exists within her... She's been sealed so far away that she's out of anyone's reach as she is now. And it's all my fault. He swallowed hard and continued. "Even if she was... there was nothing here but good memories. An FPD outbreak usually results from negative emotions. Before the C.P.G. there was nothing but happiness. It's better this way." He looked away. "There's nothing left here. Which is why it's best to cut our ties and leave."

Gannon…
There was a moment of silence as the Teru tried to calm the angerr he felt at the human's stupidity. "Do you really believe the crap that's coming out of your mouth?" Gannon clenched his fist, resisting every urge in his body to punch Aaron across the face. "Not yer sister? What a load of BS. You wanna play it like that, fine. But have ya thought about how she's gonna react when she finds out that you're hiding this from her? Both of you. I'm sure she'll be just peachy after that one!"

"I'm not gonna expect you to understand..." Aaron gritted his teeth. "What you don't understand is this. As she is, she can't process it. It would send her into a relapse or even worse." He sighed. "I'm not doing this because I want to or because I think it's good. You don't think I wanna march over there and spill the beans myself!? If I did that, not only would she relapse, but the chances of her mind collapsing completely and her being unable to recover her lost memories would be over the top!" He shouted, then lowered his voice again. "I worked with her extensively for three years. I worked with Reyvatologists specializing in her case and... Naomi... I know what I'm talking about with this. What she needs is something I can't do for her. I know that when the time comes, it's going to be difficult for her... But trust me, it's going to be much worse if someone lays it on the line for her now." He looked up at the Teru. "She's gonna need help. Her memories were sealed away probably when CPG started experimenting on her as a tiny child. And... there's nothing I can do for her. I know that. The only thing I can do is follow her around and protect her from further harm until someone who can truly help shows up."

Gannon…
The Teru shook his head. "And you want to just stroll into your old house with her? I got a pretty good guess about what those C.P.G. bastards did to her, I've seen it first hand. They go into you...They try to carve out yer memories, but there's always somethin' left. They can't get all of it." The Teru seemed to change some how. As if he was remembering something from long ago. "It's like words on the tip of yer tongue. You know they're there, but you just can't think of what they are. But once in a while, something happens and the memory comes flooding back. And when they do, it's almost like reliving the experience..."
Memories of a young, redheaded woman came flooding back to him. "A...friend of mine and I were walking through town. She caught a glimpse of something in a store window. A dress like one she had years before. And then, it happened. Afterwards, she told me she could smell the smoke from her house being burnt to the ground. She remembered the sticky feeling of her father's blood covering her hands as she tried to help him. The terror she felt when she was being dragged away from her family's farm." Gannon had to pause for a moment. "All because of seeing a dress in a shop's window. "Do you really think it's a good idea to bring Hikari there?"

--Aaron Leon Cecil--
"There's a difference with Hikari." Aaron spoke softly. "Did you know that she is the youngest FPD ever brought to the CPG? She's also been held the longest. Her contamination level was the highest they'd ever seen, supposedly." He nodded. "I understand what you mean about what happened to your friend. Normally that is the case with other FPD's and I'm sorry for what they did to your friend. But it's not the same with her." His eyes squeezed shut and his voice dropped to a whisper. "I was seven years old when they took her away. I'm 21 now. They held her in captivity for 14 years! They started experiments and procedures meant for normal adult Reyvateils on a 4 year old child! How much of your life before you were four years old do you remember? Now add the years of experimentation and torture to that. Whatever they haven't sealed themselves, Hikari's probably erased it herself just to survive." The blond haired man shook his head. "I suggest going to these places, because if someone is going to dive to try to find and fix what's wrong in her Cosmosphere, the only possible way to even bring it close to scratching the surface is to expose her to familiar things when we can. It won't bring any memories to the surface, but it might just make them accessible in the Cosmosphere." He hoped this explanation would suffice for the Teru for now. He wasn't going into anymore of his past with anyone. It was getting far too painful.

Gannon…
The Teru nodded briefly, deciding he had enough information. Putting Aaron through any more wouldn't do any good and to draw this out longer would only cause more problems for the girls waiting for them. He still had his doubts about what would happen to the Reyvateil, but they'd have to deal with that if it happened. "Alright... I'll drop this, for now. Let's get back, so we can get this over with."

Aaron pushed forward wordlessly, not looking forward to going into that house but wanting to get it over with all the same. He approached over where the others were waiting and waved at them. "Let's get going. We don't have much time," he said coolly, brushing past the others and bumping into Miko as he did so.

Miko~

It was obvious that Aaron was upset as soon as he returned. Miko wondered idly what had happened on their little scouting mission. As soon as the young man brushed past her, she experienced more visions. Glimpses of a young blond boy hovering over a little blonde girl. Blood was everywhere. She shuddered involuntarily. Then another image of Gannon and Aaron arguing played itself through her mind. She reached a hand forward but drew back, not knowing what to say. Miko had a feeling that whatever Aaron and Gannon had been arguing about, had to do with that first vision. She bit her lip, pondering what to do. She came to the conclusion that she would get Aaron alone and see if she could help him.
She didn't know what it was. Possibly it was the painful visions she experienced whenever around him. He had suffered, and it drew Miko to him. Maybe as a healer she felt some sort of obligation to try to heal his wounds, physical or otherwise. Miko didn't know, all she knew is that she wanted to try and help him. And she decided that she would.

I am the Light of this World The Beacon of Hope for Everyone~ Hikari ~ Miko hadn't been the only one that noticed Aaron's mood upon returning. He brushed past Hikari without a word and she opened her mouth to say something but couldn't think of anything to say. Aaron... She gazed at him forlornly. I wish you could just open up to me... She sighed and waited for Gannon and Nereus to catch up to them. Once Gannon came into view she forced a tiny smile and waved at the Teru. "Welcome back," she greeted. My Song is a Shining Light

The Teru flashed Hikari a smile. "Thanks. Looks pretty good up ahead, so we should hurry. Let's get goin'." Gannon reached to take the sick Reyvateil from Mana before they headed out.
