omgtehsuiso Guys, do you mind if I shift over to editor or something? I realized I suck at critiquing things when there's no one there to respond to your feedback. Sure, shift over if you wish. Editor or Junior Editor? Pious had a question: Should reviews be the more modern, or can they be for 'old(er) stuff'?

Editor is fine, since it looks like you need one of those.

Scary Write-Bot 1500 How true, 'Verne. How true... Mind telling me which piece you're going to critique? xd I was hoping you'd tell me. xd I think I might end up doing one of Aderyn's pieces, maybe Harvest-time if I want to waste like an hour of my boredom. :XP: Yeah, either that or Inspiration because I'm bloody scared of Dummy.

So she's finally gonna get "C&C'd Verne-style", like she had asked for. Hadn't you done one of her pieces before? Not for the zine, since you weren't staff then. Just, a regular crit. I think she got in with that piece, actually, that submission. omgtehsuiso: All right. I'll have you edited in as soon as I switch accounts.

Okay; I think I may take a gander at Dummy if you're so bloody scared of it. xp I'm not sure about what I'm critiquing this time; but... I'll let you know sooner or later.

Yes.
I don't know about you, but I don't make enough money to afford a desk.
Turns out I had no Internet. At least I got back in time.
Advertisements. Lets start with story sites and betas. And we have to decide how we'll get our (nonexistant) income. Maybe emphasize donations?
And also, reviews on older things would be awesome.
I'm going to try and use our money mule more, so we can get a little bit of income. I've also moved our Account Log to the journal of our money mule (not thepress), so I can make a habit of updating it.

I've accepted the affiliation proposal, and plan to add it in our next issue. Tell me what you think of the guild though, if you get a chance to visit. I'll also be adding more to the Beta affiliate segment in the NW.
That being said, I think we need to add a few more public-friendly elements to our guild. Right now it's more of a workspace than anything. Introduction thread, polls, comment box, etc.
Ideas?
P.S. Do you think there's any way to make a sort of... sub banner under the NW banner? Or perhaps I should just use colored text and dividers. We'll have our Affiliates, our Reports, and our Advertisements under the NW.
We could probably find more creative titles also. Something to match our style.

Or am I thinking of something else? *curses her bad memory* I do believe someone said something about a "Bulletin Board"; if I remember correctly--no guarantee I do--it was to be another, alternative name for the Ads. Or was it "Telephone", after the kid-game?

For now I think I'll just use dividers and text to seperate the three NW sections. If we come up with something better, great. If not, this works.
I have yet to PM Veive, but I'll get to it. Tomorrow I have band, and won't get home until late. Like, 10pm. Same goes for Tuesday.
Voting will probably have to be late Wednesday or sometime Thursday. Depending.
If any of my editors are out there and have time, you can start making lists or whatever of the submissions you think should be published. Be sure to look in the Oasis as well as the Submissions thread. Then I can put the pieces into the draft when I have time. Whatever you come up with, post it in the Draft thread.
3nodding That would make things so much easier on me.
Thank you!

A small question to help clarify things: Where do you publish your issues? Just in the guild or does it go out somewhere?
Would it be possible to purchase a subscription to be placed in a sticky in one's guild, (of which a representative would become a member of said guild, and update the thread accordingly)?

We publish on the last day of every month (depending on your time zone) in the Writer's Forum, and our issues are free to the public. We make no profit and have no income (though we very much appreciate donations).
All you have to do is link. 3nodding
Note to self: Update indexes!

I'll start with the Index. Edit: Back to playing Ninja; I'll take care of that some time when I'm not getting kicked off. Sorry.
