☂A sudden eerie wind would drift over the course of around a laboratory hidden far from any civilization. Here; the grass seemed to be slowly decaying and the sky appeared to be a bit more darker, far down into where many dared not go, that and did not really know about. Heading into a hidden room, Kimura would use her magic to open a secret floor door, hopping inside as it would shut behind her. She would carry the blood mage further down, many kinds of rats and mice, even bats scurrying around. It would smell like crap under the dank lab, a smell of deceased corpses could be smelt miles away. However, such a smell did not bother the dragon Slayer. She loved the thought of deathe, and the smell was nothing she couldn't get used to. Passing by even a few dead rotting skeletons of human bones, would they eventually reach a set of small caged off rooms all lining up on the left and right in a straight row. Opening one cage that wasn't being used, she would walk inside the tiny room and place his hands held upright onto magic chains which were made of a special type of chains and not metal, leaving him hanging inside the very dirty small room which had obviously never been cleaned, using a sort of drug on him that would keep him sedated at all times. Walking out and closing the door behind her, she would lock it with a key in which she would keep in her pockets. Smirking, Kimura would look over at her captive, truly what a beautiful catch. There was no escaping for him now, no harming himself or others, he was all hers to do with as she pleased. Figuring he may be asleep for quite a while, she would decide to lean against the wall and take her phone out, waiting on any of the news on any of her other captives she was still awaiting for. The one she really desired badly was Kaya; and with one of her special little members out retrieving her, there was no way the job wouldn't get done. He was one of her members she trusted to never fail, and he always proved this point upon each success. The son of Ra would return with Kaya, no doubt about it, she merely had to wait a bit for him to return. Kimura would keep a close eye on Raine, while keeping things in order and waiting to see if she'd needed to send anymore of her members out to catch anyone who was causing her members trouble. Once any would make it back, she would have her team of scientists to begin; once necessary. Inside the room was a couple of other regular human experiments who held no magic. These people were of the missing people job, and this is where she kept all of her captives when held in secrecy for her experimentation thrill and to gain new knowledge, sometimes even failed ones remained down here until released to cause havoc around towns.

Raines eyes fluttered open just a fraction. It was dark and there was the smell of blood in the air. His blood. He strained to lift his dizzy head, looking at his surroundings from under his heavy eyelids: bare walls, cold floor and odd-looking chains that hung from the ceiling and were wrapped around his arms from armpit to wrist, stretching them out either side. In front of him was a cage-like door and on the other side he could just make out the sight of an identical cell opposite. There didn't appear to be anyone in there, yet. Trying to collect his thoughts, the blood mage tried to remember what he was doing here. Images of the fight, his house on fire, the girl, all came flooding back to him. He'd been beaten through a dirty trick and by his own insanity."F*ck. How could I let that happen?"he asked himself in a voice that was nothing more than a whisper. He feebly pulled at his bonds to no avail, he was weak and could barely move. Surely he should have recovered a little by now, unless something else had been done to him. Tilting his head to look at his right hand. He noticed a drip next to him,"You've got to be kidding me; a sedative? She really thought of everything,"he murmured, feeling a mantle of hopelessness shroud him,"Master, I'm sorry,"he whispered,"I failed."Due to his disorientated state, he couldn't register his surroundings fully. For all he knew there could be people watching him, observing him, waiting for him to pass out again to take blood samples and genetic material. He felt sick and the taste of blood was still in his mouth. Not even his anger could be kept up like this. With the drugs in his veins both left over from what the girl put in the whiskey plus the current sedative, she was almost numb. The anger was likely tearing him up inside but he couldn't feel it. To feel nothing was a scary thought. To feel nothing was the other Raine's job.

☂While leaning against the wall, the fire slayer was casually staring at her cellphone screen; though while hearing the voices of the blood mage; Kimura would lock eyes upwards, noticing Raine had awaken from his consciousness. While waiting, she had been remaining in readiness for any updates from her members who were out running errands retrieving slayers, pocketing her phone away from sight. Every word he said, she could hear clearly due to her dragon hearing, even a slight whisper was like a regular talking voice to any other normal person. Stepping upon his caged room, she would fall shortly in front of his closure, staring him over with a devilish grin. "Your master does no longer exist, just like you will no longer exist to anyone else. You're wasting your breaths." She would tell the blood mage, smiling at the current situation he remained in, having everything slowly fall into place to where she had desired it. Although, one thing about this mage was clearly annoying to her, using it against him. "Are you really giving up so easily? I don't recall Sabertooths giving in, and to think you're supposed to be one of the higher up ranks. Pathetic, truly pathetic. If this is all your guild is capable of, I'm surprised it hasn't fallen apart by now." She would say with a shrug of her head, feeling displeased with his current actions. Sure, it felt hopeless to have any fighting spirit left. Yet, giving in so easily just showed ones weakness and inability to pull through a tough situation. Kimura would watch the blood mage carefully, wanting to watch him struggle and plead for freedom. That would be quite entertaining, watching him silently to see what kind of actions he would be pulling. She could at least use a little fun to pass time, since she was still waiting ever so long for her other captives. Having only one was no fun, with two you could use one to tease and mock the other, maybe get them both riled up. She desperately wanted a second, and waiting around was annoying enough as it was. ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
Raine's stomach clenched as a voice spoke within his cell. He wasn't alone. Was there another prisoner? No. He knew that voice and it wasn't one of his guild members. Her words angered him, he felt it deep inside his body but could barely express it due to the sedation. What was she talking about?,"What do you mean she 'doesn't exist'? You said you captured Master Celeste so that must have been a lie if she isn't here. I suppose you probably do have Valor here though. I know he would have put up a fight but he can't bring himself to kill. Your men certainly would have used that to their advantage, right?"he questioned, smiling slightly at his best friend's idiocy. He huffed a laugh at the girl's mention of giving up,"I'm not giving up. I never said that. I lost the battle but the war is yet to be won and when that finale comes around, one of the light guilds will be on top,"he stated. Though his voice was weak, his words were confident,"And when I get loose,"he smirked,"I guarantee I'll be on top of the pile of scum you call a guild."He flicked his golden eyes sideways to look at the girl,"I'm not stupid. You know as well as I do that there's nothing I can do in this state. That's hardly giving up. You'll have my magic drained, leaving just enough for me not to die, wait for me to recover and do it all again, over and over. That about right?"he asked,"I can take it. It's not like I haven't done this before,"he added. He meant what he said. All the pain he was destined to endure whilst in this lab, he could take it. To protect his family, he'd take it. For her, he'd take it. He'd live through it so he would have a chance to set things right with his guild mates.

☂Questions arose about the master of Sabertooth, Raine's own thoughts of believing it to be a total lie, for merely the fact the woman was not anywhere to be seen within the room. However, the answer to his pondering on the subject would amuse Kimura, a twisted smirk unsettling upon her lips. "Wouldn't you like to know?" She would grin; facing the blood mage as if waiting to see what kind of reactions she would witness once the truth would slowly come to realization. "You're correct, Celest is no longer staying within these walls. Although, the reason is not the same as you believed it out to be." She would answer, the truth slowly coming out of her lips, her gaze never leaving the light mage's face. "The trash of a woman has been dealt with. In other words, she's no longer among the living." Kimura would smile largely at the very thought, waiting to see that look in his face once the truth would settle in his own mind. Soon enough, came the mention of Valor, a man of few words and meant little to nothing to the dark mage, she would scoff at Raine's mocking his inability in wishing to fight as he never desired anothers death. The blood mage was even going so far as to mock her guild, believing they used that fact to there advantage in order to take victory by the horns. "I did not need to resort to using simple tricks in order to capture the man, he was easy enough." She would smirk, continuing on. "Just like Celest, Valor failed his duties as one of the higher ranks. He too has perished, allowed death to consume him completely as he would of not accepted his reality. What a foolish man, he did not deserve to breath even the same air. Completely weak, his fate connected to deathe was going to arrive sooner or later." Kimura would continue to smirk, beyond against his beliefs and what the man truly believed in.
Despite the words Raine was rambling on about before, he had seemed to disregard that and admit he was more against giving up. In fact, he was completely against such a useless idea. She would merely laugh at his little comment towards stating light guilds would rise out on top of her own dark guild, laughing off such an idea. How naive was this guy? "You are so ignorant. I don't think you're understanding the position your little light guilds are left in. Shambles, that's all you have left at this point. Think, boy. I have you, Sabertooths highest ranked mage currently. Your guild masters are gone, they are dead. Without a leader, someone to plan out smart strategies and pull the bull by the horns, your little chess boards falls apart with no real leaders to lead. Your guilds are slowly crumbling to pieces, soon not even the crumbs will remain. A guild cannot survive without a leader, just as it cannot survive with at least some higher ranked mages. There will be nothing, not even a distant memory." Kimura would tell the blood mage, her smirk never once fading away into the fray. "You really think you'll have a chance to escape? Let me ask, how will you go about that? You are chained, caged, locked in the basement of my lab, out in the middle of nowhere. My location is not easy to find, not even for a Dragon slayer. Once I have captured every Dragon Slayer, not one will be left to come sniff me out in any case. You have no chance of escape, face the truth. You will remain here as an experiment for as long as I desire, accept the reality." Listening on to the blood mage, Kimura would merely laugh in retaliation towards his snarky comments about nearly dying but being restored every time and being healed again, every time. He admitted he could handle such trauma, being through something similar before. However, she would merely smirk at his bravery towards accepting this pain that was sure to come, taking it like a champ. "But you must admit, your poor situation is truly hopeless." She would say smugly, looking over the blood mage.
"You say you can accept this pain and torture, I truly do hope you're ready to feel it. Be a shame if you weren't prepared." Kimura would mock his useless comment, making fun of it. "It makes me wonder, can your little friends handle it? Could you handle watching your friends take pain? More specifically, your little girlfriend? What was her name now?" She would ponder slightly, placing one finger to her chin as if trying to recall the girls name. "Ohh, right. The small fry, Octavia. It's too bad, you left your last meeting with that girl on a fight, and now you can't even make amends. What a sad position for you to be in, truly, I feel sorry for you." Kimura answered with a smirk, smiling devilishly as she was messing with Raine. True enough, she wasn't around at the time of Raine and Octavia's little quarrel of disagreements during there fight, but she did have a lot of her little guild members around telling her every interesting detail that they'd find, spying on the ones she was hunting down. That was how she got every juicy fact about said person, to use against them and mess with them further. In this moment, it was working perfectly to mess with Raine's mind. ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
◆ Thoughts: "They're not dead. I don't believe it"◆
spacI became insane...
◆ ◇ ◈ ◊ ♦ ♢ ♦ ◊ ◈ ◇ ◆
Raine went silent for a moment to evaluate what he had just heard. Master Celeste was... no longer... among the living? That couldn't be,"You're lying. She'd never be eliminated so easily,"he stated, not wanting to believe what the small girl was saying. He faltered upon hearing the use 'masters' instead of just 'master'. Did that mean she had Clement as well? The mighty guild master of Fairy Tail? No. She was definitely lying. Not even he as an ace could face off to that man. He shook his head. It sounded too unreal. His teeth clenched upon hearing 'Valor' and 'death' in the same sentence. He felt sick. Valor was his best friend. His only real friend. He couldn't be dead. Surely the S-class mage's magic wasn't that useless to her but then again, could green magic really be used for destruction? Probably not. It was a soft, gentle magic that couldn't be manipulated for evil very easily. Raine's breath was shaky. He was starting to revert back to one of his more vulnerable and unstable states but not one that involved Blood Raine. In fact, it was the opposite; his more fearful side desperate to break through but he wouldn't let it happen. He wouldn't show weakness to this evil girl.
He was distracted from his mental turmoil by the little slayers comment about the lack of leadership currently in the guilds,"Actually, by capturing me you still failed to obtain the second in command. Do you really think my master would be so stupid as to hand over authority to someone like me in her absence? No. Ymir is in charge and she was basically managing alongside Celeste the whole time. She's smart and she knows strategy and she certainly isn't discouraged by pretentious brats like you,"he snarled, able to finally show some rage regardless of his sedation and minimal ability to move,"And if you have Fairy Tail's master, if you didn't capture Alyssa too, you've failed to obtain the best strategist in light guild history. She isn't called The Guardian Knight for nothing. She's ruthless in protecting the guild. You think you're so smart and assume we'll fall apart without our strongest members when that's hardly the case at all,"he continued, pointing out the flaws in the girls plan."And as for escaping; where there's a will, there's a way,"he said not specifying what he meant, mostly because he hadn't figured anything out yet, but he had faith in his guild mates. "I'm always prepared for pain. If you've been watching me for so long, you should know that,"he responded. He flinched at the mention of his guild mates being tortured alongside him. This girl was truly sick in the head. He had hoped now that she'd accomplished in capturing him, she'd leave the rest of Sabertooth alone. It was clear that was a foolish thought. He frowned as she referred to Octavia as his 'girlfriend',"I told you. I don't care for her or anyone else in that way so don't believe for a moment you can use that one against me,"he snapped, trying to draw the slayer away from the idea of going after any of his family. His breath caught at the mention of his fight with the celestial wizard. The situation in the bathroom. How did she know?"You've been watching her too. You've been watching all of us,"he said, realising just how blind all of them had been. No, not blind, just tricked. They were so used to having people from magazines and TV photographing them that they would have easily missed it. How long had all of them been spied on? Every famous light guild must have someone watching them, meaning that this girls' dark guild must be huge.meveryine was in danger.
OOC: you're such a bean. Valor is the S-class member of Sabertooth that was killed, Clement was Fairy Tail's guild master that went missing. Also, we're in the lab basement, not your guild, you silly 😆

☂That look remaining over the blood mages face, exactly what she'd been waiting for. He was confused, baffled by these sudden turn of words. The man was in denial, not wanting to accept the reality, no matter how hard he would try to believe her words were all lies. "That is where you're wrong." Kimura would tell Raine, watching his reactions as he refused to believe Celeste was truly gone. "It's quite easy in fact. All it takes is to corner your pray into a wall after a long battle, and knock her out. She didn't pass my test as an experiment, and slipped away into the netherworld. You see, Celeste had a weak heart. She'd simply cared too much for others as opposed to herself. That kind of weak feelings will only force your body to become weak and frail, and is ultimately what killed her in the end. A foolish way to go." She would smirk, folding her arms together. Having that woman in her care would of been the higher perk of wishes, but things did not go the way she would of liked. Although, it did not matter. She only had one desire after all, and this one wish was all she was hoping to obtain. Watching the blood mage slowly realizing the truth behind everything was quite exciting to her eyes, the poor boy didn't seem to be taking the news so well. There was one more actually that the dark guild leader had forgotten to mention, it was best she tell him more so for her own enjoyment to watch him crumble under her words. "Ah yes, I was forgetting someone. I tend to lose interest in weaklings with no morals. Fairy tail's master Clement, has joined with Celeste in terms of deathe. They'd rather of died than harm there little guild kids, what weaklings. I have no desire for weak links anyways. As long as my own ace's and higher ups get the job done of collecting my little dragons, no doubt I'll have an army of dual dragon slayers at my disposal. I'll allow them to run amuck, creating chaos everywhere. No one will be safe." Kimura would smirk in a very twisted grin, telling the man her initial plans as it was not like he was going anywhere soon. He couldn't blab her plans to anyone, and he couldn't do anything to stop her in her tracks. So, why not let him in on it before every town becomes unsafe?
Although, Raine seemed to be smart mouth talking back to her, either in hopes of believing everything was going to be alright, or to set his mind aside from the truth behind all of the happenings. Oh please, don't kid yourself. Hysteria is nothing but trash, the same thing could be said about your entire guild. Her wind is nothing but a gentle breeze compared to my flames. I have no need for weak trash like herself, she will crumble under all of the chaos about to erupt. Putting her in charge next was a terrible decision for your guild to make. However, if she chooses to get in my way or my guild members ways, she will fall the same road as Celeste." Kimura would tell him sternly, warning him what will happen if she so foolishly attempts to get herself in the way of the dark guild masters intended goals. Raine seemed to be so full of himself, believing these little second in command rats could prove even the smallest bit of trouble for her. She would laugh at the blood mage, clearly not finding his little words a threat at all. "All she has going for her is smart tactics, that won't get you very far if you don't have power behind it. She is merely a tiny bug, just waiting to be squashed by the army I intend to let loose. So you have two higher ranks still, so what? I do as well, in fact I have people everywhere. You really think those two little bugs can stop me? Hah!" Kimura would laugh once again, before continuing on as Raine seemed to be believing she was just trying to get under his skin, and make up the current events she spoke of. This world it works like a chess board. Where one piece falls, another gains power. You have two pieces left, while none of my own higher ups has been taken down. Do you see where I am going at? It's over for you. Like a game of chess, you have already lost." She smirked, even hearing him explain some famous quote about always finding the ability to escape. "That is always stated in every movie, it's become quite predictable. But you see dear, this isn't a movie. This is real life. There isn't a scene predicted, in fact no one knows what's to come in the future. However, I can make the predictions seeing as I'm the leader in command. I see..the downfall of Fairy Tail and Sabertooth. Every other guild is so weak, it's barely a challenge, it needs no mentioning." She continued on with her little speech, pushing every words of Raines to seem false and pushing the truth of the end of the world was surely to come.
Kimura would sneer, smirking a bit at his remark about always being ready to accept pain. Maybe he could as he so believed to be, but could he accept watching his little friends in pain? She'd of noticed his flinch movement, apparently seemed to dislike that. "Aw how cute, in denial I see. I could take your word you don't see her like that. Maybe you'll have to prove it, harming her in front of you, I wonder than how you would react. Seeing her in pain, must bring out those lovely words of love and care for her. Is that what you want?" She would ask him, pushing further to force him in order to prove his feelings of love were correct. Raine seemed to be surprised she had even known about the small bathroom fight, just now realizing everyone was carefully being watched. "You're correct there. I have my people everywhere, I know everyone in your guild, down to every last detail about them. I have enough information to formulate a plan to knock over weak light guild pieces and take over the board." Kimura would continue to grin, continuing to tell her plans as he seemed to finally be understanding the place him and his guilds were following in. "I'm creating a different world. By taking out the weaklings, a new world will be created, one where only the strong may live in it. Weak trash like your guild will die by our hands, none will be sparred." An even more twisted grin set upon her lips, hoping to see Raine sweat from nervous tensions, as her plan must of been settling into his mind and the reality was shortly becoming known.

The blood mage clenched his teeth to bite back furious words. He didn't want to give this girl the satisfaction of hearing his rage,"So what you're saying is that even if your entire guild was going to be destroyed, you'd do nothing to help them if you were in a position where only sacrificing yourself would save them? That's not a true leader. A true leader is to be admired and to have the ability to protect their legacy. The members of Sabertooth are... were... Celeste's legacy as an entire family,"he said, straining to deal with the underlying pain that was barely being numbed by the sedative. He hung his head low, imagining the terrible things his master would have gone through in order to protect them all, only for him to fall victim to this girl and her guild. However, he was thankful that it had been him that was suffering and no one else. Out of his whole guild, he was the one that would be able to deal with the constant pain and torture without going insane because he was already insane. His golden eyes stared at the floor,"So that's your end game? Using these non-magic young adults to shove duel magic into so you get the formula just right and you can eventually just harvest entire universities to create hundreds of them? That's sick,"he scoffed, failing to recognise that his own ways were also fairly sick. Raine was surprised that the tiny guild master was so willing to talk about her plans to him. Then again, she was assuming that he would never leave this hell-hole of experimentation. The Sabertooth ace huffed a quiet laugh,"You really are full of yourself. Such a brat. I bet you stamp your feet like a child when you don't get your way and hide under a blanket with a cuddly toy when you get grumpy,"he smirked. Though he was drowsy, he never lost his ability to mock people. Listening to the girl refer to the current situation as a game of chess, a random memory of Ymir sorely beating him at every game they'd ever played came to him in his half-awake state,"Unluckily for you, Ymir is damn good at chess,"he said nonchalantly. Raine was starting to become frustrated with the girl's accusation that he was in love with Octavia. A ridiculous idea. He'd never want someone as annoyingly innocent and vanilla as her,"Its not denial. I care for her in the same way I care for every member of my family. I don't want to see any of them in pain. They're all equal. She's nothing special above the others,"he stated. Surely that was true. The only reason the celestial wizard was plaguing his mind was because he'd wronged her so badly. However, it severely bothered him how much she knew about the others. Invading his privacy was one thing but there were members of Sabertooth who were more vulnerable. A-Class wizards and below were all in danger of losing their lives if this girl were to send one of her S-Class members,"You have what you want. You have me in your possession so just leave everyone else alone,"he said in what might have sounded like a demand if his voice wasn't tinged with a slight hint of desperation. He was a cold and harsh person with a darkness that ruled his heart but he didn't want anyone to be hurt because of his short-comings. It was a worrying thought.

A quiet breeze blew along the seemingly deserted grounds. Not a soul to be seen for miles around. A pale glimmer of purple flashing briefly in the setting sun the only hint of anything amiss. Rumor foretold that a research facility took up residence in the old buildings. For what purpose no one could discern. Those foolish enough to trespass were dealt with swiftly and harshly. The secrets of the research facility never leaving the walls, except for when times warranted. Some might consider it an ill omen. Others might dream of it being haunted. These latter individuals were not far from the truth in their beliefs. The buildings of the facility were indeed haunted, but not by the dead…entirely anyway. Groans and screams, yelps and whimpers could be heard well enough within the hallways and passages of the research laboratory. Their sounds never escaping to the outside. Test subjects bemoaned their lot in life; although, they should be grateful for the honor bestowed on them. They would be the keys to unlocking a better world. A world for the strongest to live and the weaklings to perish. A world ruled by the proper one. It was here that Ciaran reformed himself and his charge, amidst the wails of the damned. He did not care for them. Not in the least, tuning them from his mind. His focus lay on one thing and one thing alone- deliver Master Kimura her trophy.
Steadily he walked, weaving through the building with a familiarity known to those of the Dragon’s Bane guild. He found the secret entrance to the underground holding cells with no trouble. Utilizing the methods required, Ciaran opened the passage and stepped through. The Irishman moved ever deeper into the bowels of the facility. He passed the remains of experiments passed. Their skeletons disintegrating where they lay, with no care or concern for who they might have once been. Death lingered there. Ciaran could feel its presence and it thrilled him. Eventually, the dingy passage gave way to a row of cells lining either side of the aisle. Some of the cells were occupied while others were vacant. It was in front of one cell specifically which stood Master Kimura. She appeared to be speaking with one of the test subjects. His yellow eyes lit up at the sight of her. “Master, I have something that I think you’ll enjoy. It’s something you’ve been after for quite some time.” His Irish lilt echoed down narrow hall, filling the space. He promptly chose the cell opposite his flame princess in which to place his little gift. Carefully, he maneuvered around her and shoved the cell door aside. Ciaran wasted little time in securing the Water Dragon Slayer in her new abode. He shackled her wrists first, securing each above her head and out to the side, then bent to secure chains to her legs. There would be no chance of her breaking free from their hold. The restraints themselves were made to suppress magic utterly and completely, and this particular set had an added feature that she would find out soon enough should she try to escape.
His task ended, Ciaran turned away from the Dragon Slayer. His gaze fell once more to his Master and lover. “The Son of Ra will be along shortly. He had one final thing to take care of. I didn’t wish to keep you waiting for your prize any longer, however, so I went ahead and brought her to you. She is quite the handful.” The Irishman’s eyes drifted to the man taking up residence in the cell behind Kimura. The vibrant red hair gave his identity away immediately. “You’ve got Blood Raine! He’ll make for a great experiment! My Flame Princess has excellent tastes in subjects.” He fawned over the woman’s accomplishment. Ciaran adored his Master like no other. He basked in her every move and decision, standing at her side as advisor and confidant, and answering to her beck and call. She was his inspiration. A flame to his candle, so to speak. Grinning broadly, the mage exited the tiny room in case his Master wished to better glimpse the raven-haired teenager. He instead made his way to the other cell, halting at the bars before pivoting to lean his shoulder against them.
Silence. Complete and unadulterated silence. That was what met her as she slowly found her way back to consciousness. Her senses coming back one by one, bit by bit. Why wasn’t there any sound though? Shouldn’t there be something? They had been in the middle of a fight after all. There should be the clashing of metal from one of Alyssa’s requips or the loud bang from a launched attack. Something…anything. Yet there wasn’t. At least, not the sounds that were to be expected. Moans of pain and groans of despair. Quiet words uttered to some as yet unseen person. All intermingled with the clanking of metal. The sound of metal against stone and metal against metal. That was odd. But it was the smell…the smell which bothered her most. It was completely different than the earthy scent of the forest she’d been battling in. Wherever this place was, it smelled like rot and ruin, of darkness and dampness, death and decay. A foul scent that filled Kaya’s nostrils. Huh?-- The semi-conscious teenager grew confused.
Cracking her eyelids open a hare, she focused on a point in front of her. A wall consisting of iron bars greeted her. Beyond them, two human-like forms. One familiar and one unfamiliar. “Wha—“ She tried to take a step forward only to be stopped abruptly. Then it registered- the sensation of cold metal wrapped tightly around parts of her body. Her arms were stretched above her head and to the side locked in place by cuffs that were attached to the ceiling with hardly any slack in the chain whatsoever. Similar cuffs were fastened around her ankles. A single chain extended from each, connecting at a solitary point to form a y shape, before attaching to the center-most point of the floor. She was effectively held in the middle of the small room. “What the hell?!” Kaya strained against her restraints in hopes of breaking them. But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t get enough traction or leverage to bust free. Her energy just wasn’t there either. Her body fatigued and battered from the battle cried out for her to cease moving. The skin of her injured back grew taught from where her stance forced it to pull, bearing the shadow mage’s handiwork for anyone to see. Add to that the fact that the chains themselves seemed to constrict even more with every attempt to dislodge or break them. She felt the blood flow to her hands and feet lessen in response to the added restriction. Hanging her head for her chin to rest on her chest, she took a moment to catch her breath and to get a better idea of where she was.
As her faculties returned, her mind raced to keep up with it all. They had been in the forest behind the high school where they’d been ambushed. The fight was in their favor until the Son of Ra and another man showed up. Katiki had gotten hurt… But what happened next? Kaya vaguely recalled seeing Alyssa squirming on the ground. The tan male walked toward her with raised hand. Her eyes bulged as the realization hit. “Yuki! Aly! Katiki!” She shouted for her friends, renewing her fight against the chains holding her despite her weakened state. If they’d lost, if the dark mage’ succeeded, then they would’ve brought them here together…wherever here was. The teenager remained unaware that she was the sole target of the ambush, and that her guildmates were left behind at the high school. That is, until the Dragon Slayer came to recognize that she wasn’t alone. A mixture of scents touched her nose, mostly ones she wasn’t acquainted with but there were three that she knew immediately. Looking around, she traced the owners of three scents to the people standing directly in front of her. The white-haired male she remembered from the battle, some unknown girl with a fiery gaze, and then a red-headed man chained to the wall of the cell opposite her. Where the hell are the others though? Kaya had expected the scents of Katiki, Alyssa, and Yuki to be intermingled with the others. That wasn’t the case. Despite trying to sniff them out, she couldn’t pick up their scents anywhere in the vicinity. However, the three scents that WERE present concerned her. The aromas of Master Clement, Renae, and Kai filtered through the mash of others with crystal clarity. Had she been brought to the same place as them? Great! I can track ‘em down and we can figure out a way to escape. Then we can deal with these idiots before heading back to Leavenworth to meet up with the Yuki and them. Little did she know how easily her plan could be destroyed.

☂ Raine's questions filled Kimura's head as she heard everything he would say, yet she didn't seem to have a fiber of care anywhere in her emotions. In fact, it was true, she would not sacrifice herself for anyone else and she expected her members to be the same for herself. In the wild, you were on your own to defend yourself and survive all on your own. Depending on others just shows weakness, and the inability to protect yourself against predators. "No, because a leader does not sacrifice themself for the sake of the guild. If you're not strong enough to protect yourself or save yourself, than you should just accept death. A leader is necessary in order to keep the guild strong and in order, only one can have a title worthy of a leader, it's not something to be thrown around." Kimura would tell the blood mage, disagreeing completely with his little statement. Kimura would laugh at Raine's sentimental speech, finding no value in such a ridiculous statement. You do not understand little boy, a leader is someone who rises above followers, walking with them. Friends, family, what a ridiculous thing to see in a guild. All of my members wish for the same goal, a world where only the strong thrive. I intend to help them find such a world to exist, that is my only true goal. I need not call them friends or family, I merely wish for them to have there own goals sought out, a place where they can live without weaklings such as you light fairies or tigers. That is what my members desire, and they will have there wish." Kimura would state, proud of every single one of her members, though they were merely others she wished to help, not such a weak term as friend or family. Kimura could sense Raine might be over thinking everything she told him, watching him fall silent for a moment while she felt most pleased to see her toying with him was working ever so beautifully. He didn't appear to fully enjoy her plan, too bad. Not like it mattered to her if he accepted it or not, such a decision wasn't up to him anyways. "You're finally using your brain, good job! With dual magic, they will posses far greater abilities! So long as there body can handle the sudden amounts of power. They will multiply one by one, going out of control and killing off the weak, that is the first part of my goal. Ironic, someone such as yourself calling it sick." Kimura would sneer, messing with Raine's head. "Your blood side kills and you are so destructive, you love chasing and killing, and yet you call me the sick one? Clearly, you need your head checked."
The dark guild leader would mock the blood mage, a dark grin spreading across her lips. The boy must of thought so highly of himself, daring to even insult her despite where he stood. "Ohhh, what a good come back!" Kimura would kid in a mocking fashion, her smirk never fading."Resorting to come backs as you've lost, you're really pathetic. I guess I overestimated your guild, here I thought you and your pathetic crew were better than this." She would laugh at his attempts to get to her, truth be told she didn't let such pety words or speeches of such hurt her. Letting someone get to you showed weakness, something she never allowed inside of her. She could honestly care less what Raine would call her or say in order to anger her, it wasn't going to work. He was merely wasting his breath in futile attempts. She would ignore his little comment about Ymir being good at chess, just cause she was good it did not mean she was better at the game. There was little care about the girl, however her main focus was on the fact Raine continuously denied his love for another girl. Even going as far as to demand her not to hurt anyone who he deemed his family. "Truly touching, how sad for you. Unfortunately, your wishes mean nothing to me. Yes, I have you. But you see, it's not nearly enough. What's the point of letting your little weak guild friends live?" Kimura would sneer, facing him with a sly eye. "Your words have truly touched me. I think I'll make sure they all crumble below the surface now, send them straight to hell where they belong. You can say your good byes to them all as they're killed in my new world." The dark guild mage would laugh at his desperate attempt to plead in a way not to hurt any of his friends, as it would only go unanswered, maybe even want to kill them all even more than before. She just loved seeing him worry so much, realization hitting him, it was such a beautiful sight.
Without another word, Kimura would look up as she smelled out one of her kin had made his return back, along with a certain prize that she was ever so patiently waiting for. She would face the one he was holding, the water dragon slayer. Finally, at least someone managed to return with a slayer in hand. Many of her others were either taking beyond forever, or just being weaklings and failing to win the battles. "Good job, Ci. At least some one has returned successful. I knew I could count on you." She would say with a pleasing smirk, watching as Ciaran would walk Kaya into one of the empty cells separate from the ones currently being used. Her bright yellow eyes would drift from the water slayer to the blood mage, speaking out to him. "Is this girl part of your little family? Be a shame to have to see her upheld in pain. You say you can handle it just fine, but now I wonder, can she as well?" Grinning, she would turn back to Ciaran as he had finished setting up her chains within the caged room. She would hear him out on what he had to say, apparently Ra was out there as well, he was likely staying behind to play with his enemies. She had nothing against that, it was very fine with her if her members wanted to do that, she wasn't one to ruin there fun. "I understand. In any case, I thank you for that. Though, if you wish to play with any of the enemies too, don't let me stop your fun." Kimura would say with a twisted smirk, glancing over towards the blood mage as Ci had pointed it out upon finally spotting him in the corner of the cell. "You know where I get such great taste from sweetie, from you of course." She would say rather sweetly, smirking ever so lusciously. Out of all of her members, Ci, which she nicknamed him, was beyond of her favorite members. He always went out of his own way to see her needs sought, and always completed anything she asked for. He was the perfect member if anything, and an even more perfect lover.
Turning back to Kaya's cage, the girl had apparently chosen to waken up. Now conscious, she would slide her gaze over in her direction next. "Welcome..Kaya Tsukino. Enjoying your little room? I truly hope you don't attempt to take the same path of Clement. The weakling thought he could make a break for it, oh he could run but he certainly couldn't hide." Kimura would tell the raven haired girl, as she was well aware of her name and for that reason alone, was the main reason her obvious goal was to capture this girl most importantly. She hinting at being forced to end the fairy tail guild masters life despite needing him for experimentation purposes. It was far better to kill him off, than to let him go running, and far more entertaining. She wondered what the girl would think about all of this, how she would take that in. Truly, it should be very entertaining. Facing Ciaran, she would speak out to him. "Don't let me take all the fun now. We've got two alive ones right here, do as you wish to them" She would grin, hoping he wasn't feeling bored leaning over in the corner. She would let him have as much fun as he pleased, so long as it did not involve killing them. Of course, she realized he must already be aware of that and thus would let him have as much fun with the two captures as he wished, should he feel pleased to.

Raine pulled at his magic chains, achieving barely any movement except a slight jerk forwards. He frowned as Kimura spoke of not being willing to rescue anyone in her guild at her own expense. Even he would stand in front of his guild mates and take the full hit of whatever came their way in order to protect them. He would never want to be the last one standing."When you have no real connection with the members of your guild, there's no way you can ever count on them to stick by you through everything,"he stated. He flinched hearing the girl comment on his 'other side'. He didn't like people using that against him. It wasn't his fault that part of him existed. He couldn't help it. He was just grateful that Blood Raine had standards for killing."I never said I wasn't sick. I'd never deny that. I'm fully aware the other Raine is way past that stage but I can still decipher right from wrong which you clearly can't,"he growled. The girl continued to grind on his nerves and play with his hidden fears, stating she wouldn't leave his family alone but instead do the opposite and kill them all in front of him. Horrific images of the people he was trusted to protect being tortured flashed through his mind. He shut his eyes tightly, trying to rid his mind of the unpleasant thoughts. Raine looked back up again upon hearing someone else enter the corridor. In the dim light, he could make out the tall figure of a man carrying someone he only recognised from pictures. A girl who'd been plastered over the pages of Sorcerer Weekly more than a few times: Kaya Tsukino. His eyes flicked back to the girl when she questioned whether he had a relation to the new prisoner,"Never met her before but I know who she is. She's not my concern though. I'm sure there'll be plenty of fairies out looking for her but I only take my pain for the tigers,"he said, dismissing any empathy a normal person might feel for a stranger. That wasn't how he worked. It seemed the new arrival had finally regained consciousness and had started to shout random names,"Feel free to staple her mouth shut as your first experiment,"he grumbled in a semi-serious tone. His head was so hazy from the sedative and drugs that Kaya's loud voice was making his eardrums vibrate painfully. It was clear that the girl was very excited at this particular capture as all of her attention dropped from the blood mage and went straight to the water dragon slayer of Fairy Tail. However, not all focus was taken away from him as the newcomer spoke his name aloud. He glared up at the man who appeared to be called Ci; probably a stupid nickname."You're a long way from home, potato boy,"he sneered, remarking on the man's thick Irish accent. Whilst Raine was originally from Russia, he'd conditioned himself to lose a large percentage of his accent, making him more flexible vocally. It was especially useful for when he spoke in one of his four other fluent foreign languages,"Did the brat pay shipping fees to get you here? You sound like a mail order boyfriend with that ridiculous love-struck voice,"he said, narrowing his eyes at the man. He might be trapped but he wouldn't just sit there and take s**t from these people without having something to say about it .

Ciaran pinned the small woman with a Cheshire grin. “You do me a great honor, my Flame Princess,” he bowed with a flourish. “There is no greater inspiration than a woman who knows what she wants and seeks to obtain it. Do not trouble yourself with me for the time being. I’ll have my fun when yours is done. You know that I can’t resist seeing you in action.” His tone held an underlying tone of lust as he spoke the last. Witnessing his Guild Master achieve her goals excited and delighted him in a multitude of ways. He could no more be bored standing where he was in that instant than he could be during the heat of battle. The dark mage could almost sense the electricity of anticipation that vibrated in the air. Master Kimura had reached a milestone. Her entire demeanor practically sparked to life upon viewing the girl. Oh yes, this will be a fun show indeed. Ciaran had no doubt on the matter. She would not be denied.
His admiration for Kimura drew him in. The rest of the world fell away till it was simply the three of them. He with his Master, she with her trophy, and the last with nothing but despair to look forward to. Ciaran would have been content to stay in that sort of narrowed world where his inspiration thrived. Except that another dour voice shattered the illusion of it all. “Now, now, no need to be a sore loser, sputnik.” He turned and pushed away from the wall so that he was facing Raine. The lack of an accent did little to fool the man. Blood Raine’s origins were known well to him and select few of his kin. After all, if one is to overpower and break his enemy, then one must know his enemy. “You were to proud to admit defeat when you had the opportunity. Time you let that be. Or is it—” The white-haired male folded his arms across his chest in feigned thoughtful repose. “Perhaps you are jealous of what I have with my Flame Princess? You truly shouldn’t be. From what I have heard, you have a bit of a glad eye yourself, no?” An exaggerated shrug of his shoulders accented his taunting. “But, of course, someone like you wouldn’t be able to properly comprehend such things. You’re wrapped more times than a bad Christmas present. Unable to relate to that sense of completion one can only get when they’ve found their kin…even when it presents itself so plainly before you. Am I wrong?”
Without affording proper time for a response, he spun on his heel to address his Master. Excitement shown in his yellow eyes. “I must reiterate that you truly do have great tastes, Acushla.” What little time he had spent below with the light mages was already beginning to stimulate him. Images for his painting and carving flashed through his mind at a rapid rate. If only my tools were down here at the moment… His hands were certain to dance across the canvas, leap across the pumpkins. Although he was not the one to defeat Raine, the Blood mage’s expressions would no doubt be priceless. He could but imagine what exquisite art might be made of them. All in good time. One can’t rush perfection. Yes, indeed, the light mage would be added to his collection in due course. He simply needed wheedle and prod at the appropriate times, in those moments of increased vulnerability.
✸ OOC ✸ Translations for the Irish terms, in case anyone is curious: "Glad eye" means "to have a crush or to be in love," "Wrapped more times than a bad Christmas present" means "broken or damaged," and "Acushla" means "my darling."
Kaya continued to struggle against her restraints, though her efforts became less pronounced with each turn. Not only did her shackles continue to cut into her wrists whenever she tested them, but her flesh burned with an unseen fire. It took all her will power to stay abreast of the increasing discomfort so that she could pool her focus on where it was needed. The lack of response from anyone she knew started to trouble her. Why aren’t they answering me? Are they unconscious somewhere else or something? And why can’t I smell Aly, Katiki, and Yuki?! These questions and more swirled around her mind. If she could just pick up the missing scents, or any sound from her guildmates at all, then she’d feel a bit better. She didn’t like not knowing if they were okay or not. Kai, Renae, and Master Clement had already been here for the better part of a day, at the least. They've gotta be nearby. As she dwelled on her missing family, the murmurings and mutterings of the others touched upon her ears. Kaya didn’t respond to any of them...save for one. An unfamiliar voice which drifted through her thoughts, calling her by name. She raised her head and sought out the source of the sickly-sweet sound. Her blue orbs came to rest on the black-haired girl standing closest to the iron bars. “Who are you?” The Dragon Slayer had no clue who stood before her. The scent aura wafting off the girl was her one hint- a mixture of ashes and sulfur, the pervasive smell of destructive flame. Fire magic? Nope...something else… These ideas formed and vanished in the blink of an eye, to be given no real substance.
A few seconds passed till the rest of the girl’s statement resonated. Her attention sharpened instantly as it was pulled back to the other. Master Clement escaped?! Her heart leapt with cheer. That means that the others might have too! They could be heading back home now! The sheer notion was enough to bolster her spirits. Even the dark mage’s hint that the escape didn’t end well couldn’t dampen her mood. “Yeah, right, like the Master would let you idiots get the best of him,” she sneered. “You might’ve been able to get him the first time with some sort of dirty trick, but there’s no way you’d get him again. He’s too smart and strong for that. You’re just mad that he got away from you guys, and took Renae and Kai with him. But you need to be scared because he’s gonna be pissed and lookin’ to bring the fight back at ya.” Which, quite frankly, sounded perfect to Kaya. With every Fairy Tail member becoming involved, these guys wouldn’t stand a chance. They’d teach them a lesson they wouldn’t soon forget, and destroy whatever plans they had in mind. Perhaps, if this was the place she thought it was, even return the missing kids to their families before anything awful happened. If she weren’t as fixated on the positive aspects, perhaps she might’ve noticed the underlying whiffs of blood lingering amidst her cell and the one across from it. May have even managed to pick up on the faded sounds of knowing jeers coming from somewhere else within the facility; instead, the teenager opted to believe for the best.
