              The creation of this guild was inspired by the inactivity of the Touhou community in itself on Gaia, as well as the many members and leaders of Touhou guilds before this one that have become inactive or have lost their motivation to continue anything Touhou-related on Gaia Online.

              I aim to provide a fully realized vision of the Touhou Universe. As such, I will work to expand on and play around with the setting and this is why our RP (role play) can be described as an alternate universe. In addition to subtle differences from original canon, the storyline will also be accepting original characters and allow for events to reshape the setting in a number of ways. I value creativity, originality, interesting ideas, new twists on old concepts, and I try my best to provide the feeling of a living, changing world - albeit one populated by (wonderfully) terrible man-eating creatures, gods, spirits, magicians, and the like.

              Activity is a critical key to this guild and I will make sure that it stays active by any means. I have realized that many of the Touhou guilds before mine (no offense to be taken) lacked a specific "energy" to maintain a flowing community so to say. I would like to change this, as I want to keep members engaged and focused on role playing, as well as getting to know their fellow members and strike up conversations about Touhou-related topics, ideas and just anything else you are into speaking about. If you are not a role player that is fine, but do post in the OOC portions of the guild! We'd love to talk with you and get to know you even if you aren't a role player!               I would also like to reiterate that the guild itself when it comes to role playing is not restricted to just the canon material of Touhou. By this I mean, we take the characters, the locations, and the events that have happened throughout the entirety of the Touhou Project series, fill in the gaps, add our own ideas, speculation, and history, and then we expand on it with character development, plot, new events, etc. We don’t restrict ourselves to the source-material, and as such, our setting is more akin to an AU (Alternate universe), than a strict copy of “canon”. At the same time, however, we can incorporate some canon too!

              The guild is organized by sections. I do not want to see multiple "OOC" topics in the front page of the guild. If I have to move three of your threads, or if you are not listening to the rules provided within the guild, you will get 1 Danmaku Shot. Three shots and you are removed from the guild. Organization is also a very crucial thing to keep in mind as well, as in past guilds, threads were EVERYWHERE! Let's keep it nice and tidy so you know exactly where to go and where everything is when you need it!

              If you try to show me any kind of touhouwiki link and telling me that I have done something "non-canon" I will probably laugh at you and ask you to clean up all the sake bottles Suika left behind. This is not a strictly canon Touhou universe. Many things can happen here. For example, just because Marisa is Reimu's close ally in canon, does not mean anyone else can't be trusted in ours. Implementing pieces of the canon is what we do, we don't strive to copy every exact event or relationship between characters. Express your creativity, you human / youkai / whatever you are!

              We are not only a guild, but also a Towns community as well. I know some of you enjoy going to Towns and role playing / socializing and I would love nothing more than to create our own spot in Towns! If I receive enough input from users, I will choose a zipcode and begin the process!

              If you would like to join, then take a moment to browse the forum as this will ensure that you are up to date with the specifics and details of my guild and how it may differ from the ones before this one, if you were apart of any. When you feel ready, you may join us. There is no fee.
