Ｔｈｅ Ｒｕｌｅｓ ａｎｄ Ｇｕｉｄｅｌｉｎｅｓ
The "A Touhou Project" guild, like every other guild, has rules and guidelines that must be followed. A beautiful scientist like me can not just look good, I have to act on it too, you know! So with that being said, please read the following rules / guidelines and be mindful of them. Otherwise I will see you in my office and disciplinary action will be taken..--..no not in that way you heathen!
㉧ "A Touhou Project" 's canon in itself trumps any ”official” canon, popular fanon, theories, etc. In the sense, this is saying we are not strict on the actual canon portion of Touhou. Although we implement and use several parts of it, it is not being used in full. This means that attempting to use Touhouwiki, the games, or even the word of ZUN himself to try and overturn something of any role playing material that happens within the guild WILL FAIL. The purpose of this is to allow greater creative freedom. The guild is always open to new ideas, headcanon, and/or modifications to existing ideas, when it makes sense - start discussion, not arguments.
㉧ The actions of individual characters are at the discretion of their respective players. Treat other characters as your character would treat them. This RP is not your chance to meet and make small talk with all your favorite Touhou characters - it is an attempt to create a realistic and immersive role playing experience for those who find pretending to be Youkai / Shikigami / or otherwise on the internet to be fun.
㉧ Generally, talking about the Touhou fandom's idiocy is something we want to avoid, because like the above example, it can be very annoying. We don't want to listen to your ludicrous jokes about Sakuya's bust size or how Cirno is supposedly overpowered. Don't be a "fandom sheep" and do nothing but spew memes and jokes, because that is not what this guild is for. There is a forum area on Gaia for that kind of senseless chatter. Similarly, talking idly about the fandom's habit to pair Rinnosuke with random characters is not only gross, often without any sense at all, and tends to sexually objectify characters. Talking about this in a thread will probably lead to a kick, because it is something that nobody wants to hear about, and it will probably wind up to me coming out of my office and shooting danmaku bullets at you.
㉧ Please keep in mind that being here is not a right, it is a privilege. Acting in a way that is disagreeable or violating any of the rules may lead to you being shot with danmaku bullets, as that is my warning system. If you are "shot" three times for any violations, you will be kicked from the guild and I, Rikako, will create a "file of disruption" in which it will be a permanent goodbye from me to you.
㉧ First come, First serve when it comes to canon characters! No if's, and's or buts about it! You may have up to three canon characters in your possession. You are also allowed an unlimited amount of original characters so long as they remain active throughout all the stories you participate in.
㉧ If you plan to choose one of the canon characters who are powerful just because you want to be, then you better be ready to play the actual part. Not one character is on the list just because they are JUST powerful, after all. If someone picks Yukari for example, then they better be ready to read up on her, add their own creative outlook and the like. Not everything is danmaku and battles. Be wise.
