Egg - Like Gaian-related wildlife, Foxen hatch from eggs. Eggs need to be kept warm and the best way to do this is to wear them in something like a baby sling. The eggs are hard as stones, so you could probably play tennis with one with no danger of breaking it. Eggs are actually very impressionable, much like babies in the womb, and can be influenced through singing to them, or talking to them, or reading aloud. We don't take any responsibility for Deus making fun of you for singing to an egg, though.

Wee - This is the infant stage of a Foxen. They can't walk yet, and really only move around by squirming on their bellies. Don't think this means they're easy to keep track of! Like most babies, wee Foxen love to explore and are always getting themselves into trouble. They may babble incoherently for long periods of time, and have a vocabulary of a few words, usually relating to the things they like and which they are often fond of shouting repeatedly to get what they want. So wee Foxen are sweet and easy to manage, and some are royal terrors. Baby Foxen have milk teeth as well, so watch out, you may get some love bites from your baby!

Kitling - If you thought babies were trouble, you have no idea about Kitlings. Kitlings are always getting themselves into trouble and needing other people to get them out of it (namely you). Incredibly curious, they ask questions about the world constantly, so you better be prepared with answers. With more complex desires and wants than babies, Kitling Foxen will be pining to go on their first hunt. If they're mature and responsible, they may start Hunting at an early age. Heck, even if they're not mature and responsible, you may not be able to
keep them from hunting at an early age.

Reynards and Vixen - Adult foxen can be very independent, or they can be very clingy, depending on how you've raised them. If they're bonded, their greatest joy will be being by your side. If they're unbonded, the desire to Hunt will take them out of your company at least part of the time. Adult foxen are highly intelligent and fully developed and realized individuals and may resent babying. Again, it all depends on the Foxen.

The Risen Foxen - Vulpes Indago Caelum - Hailing from the high rock formations of Wuthering Heights, Risen Foxen have a tendency to be haughty and vain. They usually consider themselves better than the other species of foxen and adhere to a very rigorous code of conduct. They think of themselves as nobles among the foxen and as such deserving great respect. - Nickname: The Gentry.
Risen Foxen come in a wide variety of colors, but they are as a rule delicately shaded, pastels and other fair colors.
<center><img src="http://www.chibimoon.net/foxen/grounded-species.jpg"> </center>
The Grounded Foxen - Vulpes Indago Humus - The truest and original form of the Foxen, the Grounded Foxen come from the Moors themselves where they live in loosely organized packs. Generally friendly and fun-loving, the Grounded Foxen are both the most natural and normal species of Foxen, but also the one most prone to mutation. Grounded Foxen are largely very accepting, and occasionally, outcasts from the Risen Foxen may find homes among them. Packs have no real established social structure, although great hunters and finders are always honored among them. Nickname: The Hunting.
Grounded Foxen almost always come in natural colors found on other animals, although they are often patterened, striped and spotted, and they also enjoy painting themselves in patterns and rolling in strangely colored dirt to make themselves unique.

The Deep Foxen - Vulpes Indago Inferus - Often shunned by the other species of Foxen if only because coming from the Baskerville Bogs gives them something of a stench, the Deep Foxen aren't evil, per see, they just despise rules and will break them whenever possible. Deep Foxen society is more primitive than either the Grounded Foxen or the Risen Foxen, and usually amounts to who can whip the tar out of everyone else. Hunting and Finding is still a valued skill, but in the end, the Bog Chieftan rules all. Deep Foxen are often naughty and self-interested, but they aren't really bad kids. Well, most of them at least. Nickname - The Stinky. They really get no respect.
Deep Foxen are usually mottled or speckled to help them blend in with their boggy surroundings. They've been spotted mostly in dark or bold colors, although across the entire spectrum.
