Stages/Explanation
Norman sits you down, taking his own seat behind his desk. He pulls out a green pen, beginning to fill out a form.
"All right - now, this is how this works. If you choose to become an assistant to one of our scientists, you are to work with them on a regular basis. I will give you a fact file on them, and access to their private lab."

"What if something goes wrong?"
He reaches up to rub at his forehead, his expression shadowed. "In the event of a problem of some sort, you are to get out of the way. Call a doctor, perhaps...whatever is practical in the situation. In many cases, you should run...there are many Doctors around here, myself included."

"But what could happen to them after that?"
He drops his hand away from his face, twitching slightly and putting on a rather eerie grin.
"Well...it depends, I guess," he says, his voice a bit less placid, "On the experiment. If they wind up...disfigured, there is always still a place in the labs for them...it will just be more discrete. Wouldn't want them to lose their privacy to the press...."

He draws a deep, shuddering breath, blinking a couple of times - a headache? Smoothing back his hair, he offers a meek smile.
"Don't worry, I'm sure they'll all be just fine. ...So, then, if you're interested...let's see if any scientists are in need of assistants right now."

In case Norman wasn't quite clear enough, here's a quick rundown.
Stage 1: The Scientist. They will specialize in a particular field, and you need to RP them (and, as desired, you assisting them).
Stage 2: The accident. I will ask you to RP the accident in your Private Lab, in detail, of course. You are welcome to have another scientist and assistant take part in the RP (in your Private Lab), or just to write it out on your own. I will give you criteria to meet and write around, but it'll be up to you to make it work.
Stage 3: Mutant. After the accident, the scientist has changed somehow - altered themselves. Though they would draw unwanted attention in the regular labs, Norman and the Goblin will allow them to work in a more private section. Their persona may or may not change - it varies.

Note: I know it makes sense - Mutants from Oscorp = Supervillains. HOWEVER, please try to be more creative than just that. They don't HAVE to become bitter and cruel - they might still remain peaceful, despite their unusual exterior. Causing trouble in the city is okay, but I'd rather not see nothing but a lab full of squabbling villains.
When I assign Venom and Carnage, for instance, I do NOT want them to be seeking blood all the time. Find ways around it - be reasonable. Otherwise, I might end up crazier than the Goblin!
