The RBG Charity Art Auction

As many of you are prehaps unaware, and some of you painfully are, there has been a recent policy change on gaia banning user-ran banks. There are many reasons behind this ban, positves and negative views. However one thing is clear, it is telling us we can not do what we want with our own gold or choose who we want to trust with it. (All users who disagree with this policy change are welcome to sign this petition)

Aside from that, the RBG was one of the first and highly successful user-ran banks on Gaia. It allowed users to store their gold safely from hackers, collect intrest, and you could even get loans and put items on layaway! For three golden years they provided these services and more to thousands of gaian's and now due to this policy change they are being forced to shut down.

The point of this auction is this, like when the stock-market crashed in the U.S., everyone rushed the banks and demanded their money for fear if they didn't do it fast enough it wouldn't be there. They were right. Banks never keep all the fundage they take in, they invest it and loan it and gradually make profits for their investors and account-holders. But having it all having to be paid out all at once is extreamly a shock-to-the-system for these banks, and namely for their honest administrators.

If you would like to show your support for the RBG and help support them, please join this auction, sign the petition, and let Gaia know your willing to support these user-ran banks and our rights to do what we want with our gold, invest it how we want, and with who we want.

All proceeds of this Auction will go to the RBG so they can pay out to their numerious account holdings their full deposits plus the intrest they are owed, which the new policy change even gives them permission not to do. This bank is going to go down the right way. Already, the administators are arranging to sell all of their own goods which were not gotten through profits of the bank to help pay back every single user who used the bank. These honorable gaian's will also be leaving once this buisness is taken care of, unfortunately because of being told they can not continue the dream they have been building for over three years now.

Rules for Artists

1. Do not apply unless you are serious and you have some prior experiance on Gaia as an Artist. You are required to have successfully completed a series of commissions, have an Art Shop, or have held or been part of a successful Art Auction before.
2. Once the auction starts, you may not pull out. On your honor, you are stating you will come through with the promise to produce art for the winner.
3. All artists will be allowed to state what they will and will not draw, and what they will draw given a certain HB is reached.
4. Profile Artists Welcomed.
5. All Artists, of all styles and skill levels are welcome to apply, dependablity is of a higher importance.
6. Custom and breedable pet artists are welcome to apply, but please be sure to add details with your examples if they are breedable or not and just to what extent the winner will have control over the looks.

Reason For Joining: I have been a user of RGB for a while and have appreciated all they have done in terms of protecting my money and gaining me gold towards my quest. It saddens me that it has to go, and I feel I must do something for them.

Currently, v2 is my preferred profile system, but I can do old school layouts as well. I just find that v2 is easier to customize the content and make the page more personalized, plus it's easier to put the content in the order that YOU want it in, and it makes it easier for you to change the content later yourself without screwing up the whole layout xd

I'm considering having 3 catagories to the auction. (All lumped together however for the Auction Winner but show-cased in three seperate facuets)

Originally Drawn Art as one group
Pets as Another Group
And a single custom profile (since no one really needs 2 or 3)

So yes, as of now I will be considering Custom Pets. ^^ I'd like to involve everyone I can but I want to also make sure everyone I add won't back out. So I'm scared to add to many people ;o;
