Hey we moved! Epets has become part of Shouho - a pixelized shop by Ska <3 stop there for a customizeable pet now. Sorry but the growing feature is taken away by time, but all the animations and features will be kept!

Whew sorry its taken so long for updates, but all but one are done ( animation shop keeps breaking on me ><; ) and im just waiting to make it transparent. Probably just have to restart later. Also added casings if you can browse down which you can change at any time, suggestions are welcome! Added panda of course and the bear type. Panda's are limited to 10. Also I will re-release calico kitties at the end of this month since they went so quick! I'll try to do another animation to change it too as well, maybe sleeping.

Q. Can I have one for free?
A. No, Sorry. The point of this shop is to earn gold for quest items and other uses. MAYBE once in awhile I will set up a game or an event so you can earn one for free however ^ 3^

Q. These are Tamagotchi!?
A. Similar to Tamas, these guys were 100% made by me - pixel by pixel and the pets are designed differently than Tamas ( main difference ) the general idea is the same however - Virtual Pets!

Q. How did you make these?
A. Like I said - pixel by pixel. The basic shape is an egg, then I added the cell phone like part, and the screen I based off a Tamagotchi. I don't know enough programming to make them interactive however, so sorry about that! It takes about 1 - 2 hrs to recolor, design and make each one custom for the person ordering them.

Q. Do these pets breed?
A. Maybe in the future, but for the moment no. They do however Change and grow through 3 different changes and are effected by things you can buy them.

All about how E-Pets became to be.

( All of this is fictional! for entertainment purposes )
E-pets are digital pets that were created by mistake while I was coding a program! The software I was designing for my latest class assignment at my school of Information Technology suddenly took on a life of its own, thinking this was just another mistake I closed the program, depressed I had to start all over from scratch AND make the deadline!

E-pets are unique and curious creatures.

There are 3 major type of stages each and every E-pets go through. The only wait to prevent this growing is to buy a stopping file. This will stop the pet's programming from finishing its cycle. Each of the stages are around one week long and start at the basic stage - egg. The type of E-pets that exist are limited, more code is always being worked out and sometimes flukes turn into something useful!

Eggu Stage
This is the first stage of EVERY pet that comes to be. This stage, while very fragile is still, inside the virtual world. If you let other pets play with your baby egg make sure they are careful! The eggs files are very easily corrupted and this can cause some code to produce errors and never grow.

Child Stage
After your egg has hatched, they are much safer, and have much harder to crack coding. They can even be zapped to spend time with friends ( pets love this! ) to play with other Pets. Be sure to play and help your pet along! They still depend on you to click and make their world work.

Adult Stage
Finally! Once your Pet has reached its adulthood it can handle all the things by itself. But just because it doesn't need doesn't mean it wants you to go! If you've taken good care of your Pet your bond will only increase as they age!

Happy Hearts
This is a good emotion! If you've taken good care of your pet as its grown up ( bought it things, loved it a lot in thread, etc ) this emotion will be there when they reach adulthood( forever ).

Tummy ache
Oh no! You've let your letter bundle eat too many sweets! Don't worry tho, a tummy ache will go away in a few days. Be careful when giving your pet treats, to much of a good thing can cause a bad thing!

Poop
Poop is a common problem in the child stage. If you've gotten your pet any kind of food recently, it will produce poop. Since they are still a child you have to clean it up for them! ( just post about it ) Once adulthood is reached however your pet will be able to clean themselves up.

Mad
This is a rare and hard to get emotion! Pets are typically happy creatures, you've must have neglected or forgotten to do something to your pet. This is rare but still take good care of your pet!

Pets come in many shapes and forms.

Thanks to advance programming and the amazing power computers, E-pets come in every shape and color imaginable! When your ordering your have to decide which pet you want to have, along with a single color for it to be. Limited and Event pets will be multicolor so you have to wait and see them! Hello! Because I posted a poll on if people wanted to know how I pixel and what I use, the basic tech info on this shop I decided I wouldn't mind posting it. If you are confused by anything feel free to post in the shop about it, I don't mind answering questions on pixels and graphics.

The banners were made in PSP ( thats Paint Shop Pro 7.o ) by me, the flower is a random design I liked found of deviantart.com and used. The font is ______(I'll check later)(and the pixel font) and the time it took was around 1 hr. I decided to use these colors since they mayched my orginal colors of the keychain. I think they work well. I used a simple line design on them I seem to be into lately, its on alot of my banners, and then just shadowing on the text to make it simple and clean. I hope they are liked, they remind me of a nursery or something soft and gentle-like.

The Pixels
programs use(whatfor);
MSPaint(design frame by frame), Paint Shop Pro Animation Shop 3.0(for animating), Paintshop pro(for saving things transparently)

I also keep all these files on a USB drive(Lexar) for easy access.

Yes thats what I prefer, MSpaint. Alot of people do and alot of peopel don't but I personally find the simpleness of it the best for pixels. Once you use it, its just a pixel by pixel process. There are MANY good tutorials out there for pixeling, I say just try experience its the best teacher and your learn faster and some people even easier. ( I'm one )

Pixel Habitat Details
Time taken; 30 minutes - 1hr ( depending on animation )
Size; 120 x 190 pixels
Transparent; A green from paint standard colors ( limeish )

The easiest animation, its the cutest in my opinion.
