I'm curious about prices. Considering our bumps involving groups are like 1g for simple, and 2.5 g for subject-specific sentences...

As you drift in accidentally to the music-room that you'd thought was abandoned, a soft fragrance caresses you--the scent
of sweet cherry blossoms, roses, and a hint of peach. The crystal chandelier that hangs above casts a glowing, faintly golden light on your

April 4th, 2007. I'm a bit bored with Gaia and the shop is going rather slowly. I'm considering leaving Gaia actually. If that is what I end up doing then maybe one of the other hosts/hostesses could set up this shop again or whatnot. I don't really know what else to do.

Rules of the House
1. Do not troll or spam.

2. Follow Gaian TOS.

3. We are not 1-bajillion-bumps-a-day shop. We are a host club. We may have a few people that will bump regular bumps, but we specialize in hosting. If you want a bajillion bumps a day, you may want to hire more than one of us for that order, because #1, you will get approximately a 50% discount when you hire in groups (See Two Similar Section), #2, you'll get more interesting conversations, #3, even if one or two people are gone, the rest of the group will pick up the slack so you're not screwed just because one bumper is at school or another is at a track meet.

4. All ScarletStrath does is take care of the thread; he is not responsible for hunting people down to make sure they do this or that. Usually our Hosts/Hostesses will return the portion of the gold that wasn't bumped for, if they are unable to complete a job, and then refer you to another Host/Hostess. While inconvenient, please understand that real life problems do come up. If a Host/Hostess does not finish their job, and it is not because you flamed them off or anything, AND they didn't refund the part that wasn't bumped for, then feel free to report them to a moderator as a scammer. Our suggestion is that you screenshot the trade activity section for your avatar, if the bumps were not completed, and send that to a moderator, report it under "scams"--if you find that someone didn't finish the bumps, please send a PM including the payment-completed screenshot and the URL of the thread that was supposed to be bumped to ScarletStrath so that he may fire the person. Scarletstrath is doing this for free, and gets nothing from it. He just feels Gaia would do well with a more refined, more specialized bumping service.



Dear Applicants
This is a shop for those who wish to work at their own pace, and get tired/bored with the brainless "bump bump bump" type stuff. If you cringe at orders of "5K bumps in 3 days please!" this is the place for you. We strive to do high quality bumps by encouraging group-hiring so the burden of 5K bumps is not on one bumper, but on several. In order to maintain the high quality of this shop, I must ask that you abide by the rules below. It basically boils down to: Follow TOS, and finish what you start, please.
Application Rules
By applying, you promise to follow the rules below, and if you do not, it is grounds to remove you from the shop.

Basically, you take as many orders as you want to; YOU get 100% of the pay from every job you take, but you are responsible for finishing your own jobs.
That's about it. smile ScarletStrath just acts to post your profiles and organize this in some sane manner. ^_^ That is all.

1. Please obey Gaian TOS first and foremost.

2. Respect the Patrons/Patronesses that hired you and those around you. Please take the higher road always; if people start s**t with you, don't return the s**t they started; even if you do feel they're wrong and you're right, please PM me or something. At any point you are free to drop a job if you refund the part that you didn't complete bumping, if you feel you are incompatible with the thread owners. PLEASE do NOT start arguments/spam with anyone. You can always walk away after you refund the portion you did not complete.

3. Do not leave an order unfinished. You set your own pace here--I don't mind if you apply but can only do 5 posts a week, or you wish to do 2K posts a week. It's really entirely up to you. If you wish to change the amount of bumps you signed up for, please let ScarletStrath know, he'll change it as soon as possible. You set your own prices for the Two Similar section if you choose to, the normal bumps have a pre-set price though. This is mainly to encourage group-buying so no singular bumper gets stuck with an insane amount of bumps to do. I ask that you please, please, please finish all jobs you sign up for. You may of course get a friend or several friends to tag along, or to replace you if you are unable to host...but make sure they know the rules and stick to the topic assigned if there was a specific topic.

4. No 1337 5p34!< unless that was the request. I don't mind if you cuss or whatnot, but if the buyer does mind, then please refrain from doing it. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation on this matter. I know that cussing is a little like a spice--when used sparingly, it does liven things up...but please realize some people may be allergic to that spice. ;^)

5. If you go on hiatus or quit, please at least tell us, and try to be honest and refund the portion that you were unable to complete. That way the person who hired you may pick another, and there are no hard feelings. Thank you for your cooperation and consideration.

6. Don't PM ScarletStrath about your neighbor's garbage blocking your driveway. Please only PM if there's some good reason to. I kind of also use this account for art auctions and commissions and so I can't afford to have an insane amount of clutter. Thanks.

We do try to keep a few contests going, but again it is up to you, more than anyone else, to keep a good network in order to obtain more orders, you know? Network to succeed.

It takes a bit of talent to come up with intelligent, charming, lively conversation. While a few of us do do common bump projects,
our focus is still on making you and your guests feel more comfortable. Our goal is to interact with your guests even while you are away.
Each Host/Hostess will have the number of bumps they are willing to do of each type listed in their profiles section.

Basically, Four Steps:
1. Pick a Type of Bump.
2. Pick a Type of Host/Hostess.
3. Fill out the form and post it in this thread.
4. Send and complete trade with whomever it is you hired.


Singular Host/Hostess Bumps:
Prices are cut by about 50% for Two Similar (group) bumps!
Type 1: Commoner's Bumps--This consists of the usual "bump bump bump" which you find everywhere. Rather dull but it gets the job done. These are 2g/ea.
Hosts/Hostesses will number their own bumps appropriately. If you have a specific image you'd like us to bump with, please
PM the image to the Host/Hostess you're hiring.

Type 2: Random Sentence Bumps--These contain a noun, a very, and at least 5 words. The sentences may be lyrics, comments, etc. These are 3g/ea.
Hosts/Hostesses for Type 2 bumps do not have to stop their lyrics/poems to converse.
They may choose to if they wish to (most of them probably will), but it isn't required.
If you specify, bumps will be numbered in smaller, less-obtrusive font.

Type 3: Specific Subject Bumps--These bumps are ones that you may assign a general topic to. Example Subject: Art.
These will contain a noun, a verb, be at least 5 words in length, and cost 5g/ea.
Usually these will be more interesting than random sentences. We will definately engage in conversation if spoken to.
For Type 3 Bumps, we definately encourage more than one sentence, but it is not required.
If you specify, bumps will be numbered in smaller, less-obtrusive font.

Type 4: Specific Subject & Initiate Conversation--These bumps are ones just like the Specific Subject Bumps, except that we make active efforts to
engage in conversation, and most of these posts will tend to be 2-3 sentences, rather than just 1. Price for these are 6g each.
We will go out of our way to initiate conversation, befriend guests to your thread, and keep them entertained. Though you may assign a subject,
we may switch the subject if the guest is changing the subject. We will avoid topics you told us specifically to avoid though. In addition, if your
shop is for example, a water-colors auction, we will try to do a bit of research beforehand, so that we are more knowledgeable in your shop.
For Type 4 Bumps, we also encourage more than one sentence, but again it's not required.
As long as the sentence is well thought out an appropriate, it's fine.
If you specify, bumps will be numbered in smaller, less-obtrusive font.


Especially for Art Auctions & such, feel free to ask us to PM you the HB and such. We'll be more than happy to PM you the page it's on for your convenience.

For Bump Types 3 & 4, we suggest it be for a shop or auction that you do not need hyper-activity in, but merely want it to be brought to the front now and again,
while providing friendly conversation for those that show interest in your thread.
If you want a high amount of activity, rather than to attempt to hire one person for 500 bumps, try hiring 5 Host/Hostess for 10 bumps;
this way they may converse with one another about whatever it is you've assigned.
We work well with other people you may have hired also.



Two Similar Bumps:
Some of our Hosts/Hostesses have similar interests in their conversation topics and would prefer to bump threads when hired in pairs.
These Hosts/Hostesses may charge differently, usually cheaper, per bump than our normal Hosts/Hostesses when hired in pairs,
because it is more interesting to work together than to hold a conversation with oneself. Two Similar Bump prices will be listed under the Two Similar section.


Other:
For different amounts, our Host/Hostess may be willing to put your shop/auction links in their signatures. It varies depending on the Host/Hostess--feel free to ask.

The Hosts/Hostesses whose entire profiles appear in this section are Hosts/Hostesses that will only bump when hired in groups of 2 or more. The Hosts/Hostesses whose names appear here, but whose profiles are in other sections, accept different kinds of bumps, including Two Similar bumps. I paint with oils and so I know them fairly well, though I'm not necessarily excellent at them persay..I work hard and do my best in all that I do. I am interested in bunnies, because I had one and am considering getting another. I don't really love school that much, but can probably help in most subjects. I enjoy reading quite a bit, and I love music of any type except blues, jazz, and country. I know a little of this and a little of that but can probably do okay in most threads. I really love art auction threads, in particular, or breedable pet threads.
Types Of Bumps: Any type. For Type 3 & 4, usually my posts will be 3-5 sentences long. For Two Similar types, I am also willing to cut the prices down to 50% if the person bumping with me doesn't mind it..

I believe I am a complex person. My first thought was serious, as I am serious in all things in real life. Although I am serious, I have a wonderful sense of humor, but with sensitivity. I do not belittle anyone or make fun of someone. I will try to get along with everyone and I don't try to monopolize a subject. I let the person take the lead in conversation.

I would also like to be included in the two similar bump group. I will work with anyone on the list. I will be willing to work for as little as 2g per bump - minimum. (Unless of course a price will be haggled upon for other items: such as marketplace. etc.)
Areas of Interest: I am an avid reader. My favorite authors are science fiction/fantasy writers. I read alot of biographies, and history. I have a monumental interest in religions of the world, and I have a deep faith in miracles. I have experienced alot of interventions in my own lifetime that I am willing to share. I am also involved in real life in customer service and information service. I have a little knowledge in most things. I love being outdoors on a sunny day. I am most comfortable in a park/lake setting rather than the beach/ocean. My other interests are: genelogy, cooking, pets, anime, nostalgia, and of course computer games! I like to stay in the threads that have mature conversation, with people who are literate. I am honest in all things, as I feel that is the best way to have a serious conversation. I guess I am a down to earth type of person.

Areas of Interest: I'm into the Japanese culture and language (trying to teach myself), but I don't speak very well. I also speak a little bit of French, but I've forgotten a lot of it. I'm into famicom pop (xP) and obnoxious japanese electropunk along with others. I enjoy drawing, although I have A LOT of room for improvement, and I'm musically and socially inept. I refuse to bump at those types of Slave/Master, Girls in the Forst, etc threads.
Types Of Bumps: With the two similar, if there's actually someone like me I'll be fine with the cost is 50% off. Alone, I'd probably prefer the commoner's bumps. Since if someone tried talking to me, I'd most likely respond and wouldn't think it was fair for the customer to get charged more on account of that xD;, just seems odd to me.

I can talk about intelligent-sounding stuff, but it would make me look like an idiot. One of my favorite things in the world is to laugh, and I am usually an optimistic person. I am not really good about using big words, and if it has 7+ letters in it, I probably can't spell it. [I can spell intelligent and optimistic though. x3]

Which Personality Are You: I'm a sort of mix. I can be refined or serious when I choose to be. I can also be kawaii in a sense since I can fool around and just have fun in some forums. However, I think I would belong in the Simple area. At first, I have absolutely nothing to say, maybe not quite as, as you say 'flowery' with my words. But I can keep a thread going. >D
Areas of Interest: I can talk about anything as long as I'm familiar with the subject. Otherwise, I'll just stare and act like a complete dummy. I guess I'm just a happy person. Also, I have knowledge of anime, and I simply love to roleplay and enjoy literacy. So I like conversations going around and not just numbering bumps and all. I also take interest in music and arts and videogames.
Types Of Bumps: I'm willing to do all types of bumps. Whatever is requested from me. I could do all those 'bump bump bump' stuff pretty quick if I have the computer all to myself. But I do like typing in sentences as well as chatting in a completely fun conversation. And I can either be single or group. Welcome to the Refined Section of the shop. Those found in the Refined Section are exactly that; refined. We're fairly well traveled, have a variety of experiences, and quite a bit of knowledge about a variety of things. You will find many of us are very well educated on things such as art, history, science, literature, so on so forth. Some of us are bilingual, some of us are trilingual. Which Personality Are You: I believe I 'm am serious or refined. I say serious because I'm usually a very honest speaker and enjoy conversations that are about people and thier interests. I'm not much for RP style of conversation (I.e. *glomp* or *huggle*) until I get to know someone. I say refined for myself because I'm actually bi-lingual, an English Seconday Education Major with a specialization in Shakespeare, and an army brat. So I've seen a lot and thought alot. I enjoy discussing music from the rock scene (by this I mean everything from metal to emo to indie and back again) I like talking about usually serious mediums (films, books, and shows) but I'm not totally stone faced. I'd like to be a two similar bumper but not exclusively.
I interact well with all personality types I think.
A charming bumper will bring out my rp flirty side.
I am a serious bumper in a sense so we'd get along.
I can shoot the breeze with Simple bumpers.
I also can be really friendly with Kawaii bumpers.
I pretty much follow the house rules on gold collection
Singular Host/Hostess Bumps:
Type 1: Commoner's Bumps--This consists of the usual "bump bump bump" 2g/ea.
Type 2: Random Sentence Bumps--These contain a noun, a very, and at least 5 words. The sentences may be lyrics, comments, etc. These are 3g/ea.
Type 3: Specific Subject Bumps--These will contain a noun, a verb, be at least 5 words in length, and cost 5g/ea.
Type 4: Specific Subject & Initiate Conversation--These bumps are ones just like the Specific Subject Bumps, except that when there is anyone else in your shop/thread,
our hosts and hostesses will switch out of the assigned topic and try to converse in a friendly manner with the guest.
These tend to be longer posts, that on average, exceed 5 words. Price for these are 6g each.
Areas of Interest: Literature. I love discussing music. I've driven several friends to the hospital for attempted suicide--so I double as an ambulance. I also call myself justice. I prefer Art threads and Quest threads.
Types Of Bumps: Single Person Bump prices are set, but for Two Simliar casting it would depend on who I was with. We'd have to decide between the two of us.

I'm trilingual (Mandarin, Taiwanese, English), and I love art, though I'm not very good at it. I really love food too. I like cooking and munchies. Types Of Bumps: I don't mind any kind of bump but I don't want to do a ton of Commoner Bumps. Prices on Two Similar I don't mind if it's 75% of the regular cost of bumps. Even 50% may be okay, depending on who I'm bumping with.

He hired her for his freebie shop, his first auction, and this shop. Why? Scarlet loves people who know what they're doing, do it damn well, and keep prices reasonable. She is not the cheapest you can hire, but price-for-quality, she is the best he's found, and he's been around on diff accounts since 2003. She pwns.

2. Befu--Always patient. smile She has her own lil shop full of adorable fluffy creatures, but she's also very patient and very friendly with everyone. She responds very quickly to anything you ask her too. Awesome gal, really!
