Please people, read all the posts. If didn't cover your questions feel free to ask, but most the questions asked have been answered somewhere in the first 9 posts.

Welcome heart This is my first ever art contest, so please bear with me if I'm doing this wrong.
I love art, and I thought what better way to get more then host an art contest?

*These charcaters are all very much works in progress, I've only started to shape them. Therefore, I may make changes, and edits to their discriptions as I see fit. This also means that you as the artist has a lot of flexiblity. I love creativity, so let it spill forth.

Anyway, my break starts on the 27th of next month. So that shall be the last day for entires. 11:59 pm Hawaii time.

Rules
1. Please don't PM me unless it's something you don't want to/can't disscuss in the thread.
2. Do not beg/whine/cry.
3. Do not cause fights here. I will stick people who fight on the blacklist AND ignore.
4. Use the entry form, or I won't promise that your art will be recoreded right.
5. All entries must be created just for this contest.
6. Do not try to give me stolen art, or I will report you to a mod.
7. Yes, the art must be of my characters. And please don't try to give me art I've already paid for before.
8. Do not watermark the art. Signing it is fine. For reasoning see the FAQ.
9. Do not try to guilt trip/pressure me. People far better then you at it have tried and failed.

Q. Donate to my quest?
A. No.

Q. My entry is over PG-13, what do I do?
A. Hit me up on AIM (Chi Yamiko) or email it to me at Amiboshis_kanojo@yahoo.com. I would prefer AIM, but if you don't have it just post here letting me know you emailed it to me.

Q.Can I submit more then one?
A.Yes, please!

Q. How many prizes can I win?
A. Each piece can win one prize. If it's the best in more then one category then it will win the bigger prize and the smaller one will go to the second best.

Q. Can I do a collab with someone else?
A. Sure, put both names on the entry form and I'll split the prize money in half and send you each a trade if you win.

Q. Do I have to host my own work?
A. If you could that would be great, if not just let me know and I'll host it for you. Either way I will save a copy of the drawing so if your host goes down I'll have a copy.

Q. Do I have to pick a category when entering?
A. No, it will be judged for all categories it fits into.

Q. When does this end?
A. January 1st, I may extend it if a great deal of people ask me. I know its right after the holidays and all too, sorry. Just let me know if you need more time, I'm sure something can be arranged.

Q. I have to draw your characters?
A. ...Yes, I think that is the point of an art contest. xd

Q. Can I submit artwork with a watermark on it?
A. No. If your reason is you think I would just steal the art then perhaps you shouldn't be here. If you will give me the unmarked copy only if you win then you should remember when entering a contest, you should be willing to accept the risk of not winning anything--if you are not willing to accept the risk, you shouldn't be entering.

Q. X picture offends me, take it down.
A. That isn't even a question. But you know what, there are warnings posted, so if you either A: Read the warnings and clicked anyway. In which case you should have known what was coming. Or B: Didn't read the warnings and just decided to click on the RED link without wondering why only a handful are that way. In which case you are foolish, and I shall not waste my time with you.

Q. When does this end, and how long after that will prizes be given out?
A. Entries will be accepted until March 27th. I think that it will take me a few days to judge the entires, no more then a week I would think.

Q.I posted my entry, but it is not on the list...?
A. Make sure you had the filename right, then post it again/quote it.

Q. Can I submit a color version of a picture I already entered?
A. No, you will have to pick, one or the other.

Q. ...My question isn't here?
A. So ask away!

Hair Color: Silver. It goes down to her lower back.
Eye Color: Green
Weight: 122
Age: Unknown, looks to be around 20.
Skin Color: Pale.
References: X X X X X X X X(If anyone knows who drew this one PM me, I lost their name.)
Discription: Kagemi was born a half-demon half-vampire, giving her strange powers. She is not happy with what she is but has learned to accept it. She needs to "feed" off of the feelings of people near her to allow her use her powers and is reduced to an almost human level if she can't. Mostly she feeds mostly off of lust and passion which she prefers over pain or anger. She knows that she is attractive, and acts like it. If things get bad enough she can drink blood to survive, but she has some painful memories attached to doing so, and will do almost anything to avoid dredging them up. She has a second form which is connected to her mood, and will often sprout demonic horns, wings, and a tail.
Clothing: Kagemi loves clothes that show off, and will wear almost anything. She likes colors that bring out her hair and/or eyes. She also enjoys jewelry, especially silver. She loves necklaces and dangly earrings.
Favorite gem: Black opal.
Favorite color: Blue, green, red, and black. Mostly in dark shades.

Kyosei
Height: 5"11'
Hair Color: Black, it's shaggy and goes down to the bottom of his ears. Think of Yuki from Gravitation (X, X)
Eye Color: Blue
Weight: 160
Age: Unknown, 20ish.
Skin Color: Very pale, from spending most time in the dark.
References: None, but you can wander over to the album and check out the works already done. I never got to get any commissions for him yet. He is built very lean. Not heavly muscled, think more of a runners build. His ears are slightly pointed, and stick out from his hair. He dresses casually, a jeans kind of guy. He is not really the "manly" type, he looks more feminine.
Discription: Kyoshi is a night elf. Before Kagemi came to Gaia he was her lover. She misses him deeply, and her thoughts often dwell on him. She believes that one day he will find where she has gone.
They met one day at the edge of the forest before Kagemi had come to accept her powers. She hadn't fed in a very long time and was extremely weak. He felt for her and the self-hatred he saw she had. He cared for her and gave her his own blood to help her recover. This in a way is a good representation of their relationship. Kagemi is very dependant on him, and yet he is deeply attached to her as well.
Favorite Gem: Dark colored emeralds.
Favorite Metal: Silver.
Notes: I'm sorry for the lack of references, if you need to know more just ask. And as for his and Kagemi's past, it is vauge on purpose.

Pets
Notes: I would love it if you wanted to add any of my pets into your piece. I know there are a lot, and you can choose only one or two if you want. I don't want you to clutter your piece. Pictures with pets only will not be able to win prizes.
Stardusts:
Look here for my thread in the guild.
Female dustlings are 3 feet tall and proportionately long, males are 4 and a half feet tall, serpent females are 4 feet tall, and males are 6 feet tall, although their tails tuck under a bit.

EDIT: Also, I'd like the people who do this to have a post per day count of at least 20, I don't really want to pay people who just lurk around. And please let me know when the month is up, I'm horrible at remembering.
