General Information:: This OC is actually going to be very specific. Normally she's an OC I use kind of in general but I want her specifically used for something now. This is one of the two OCs I have decided to work on developing and setting into the Dead Space story universe. I guess that's the best way for me to put it. I'll try to give as many reference pictures for designs and whatnot until I get some decent references going on. I'll also include a list of references/descriptions of poses and whatnot. If there's any questions one would like to ask about this OC and the other one set in the same universe, so-to-speak, feel free to ask me via PMs somewhere else other than this thread. ;3; <3

Age:: Twenty-Six

Hair:: Helena has long, black hair. Her hair normally stops a little below mid-back and she has straight-cute bangs. Normally her hair is up in a bun, ponytail, or braided from time to time due to work.

Body Build:: She has a rather tall and athletic build due to her career choice. She's not slim as a twig however. I reiterate that she has an athletic build as seen here. Give my girl some decent curves up top, please. Not looking for something huge and bulky boob-wise but, I'm also not looking for flat-chested either. She stands roughly at a height of 5' 9" as well.

Additional Features:: Helena has green eyes and yes I'm using a cat as a reference because that green is beautiful. Her skin is rather pale from being in uniform almost all the time and on a ship.

Armor/Character Design/Clothing::
- Armor/Main Character Design:
*Warning, this is pretty long.

The base of the suit/armor that Helena wears is a bit past the line of regulations but, being in the special forces allows its little benefits. A standard, form-fitting black body suit will normally be found layered beneath everything, the neck of it stopping at the top of Helena's neck/the base of her jaw line. The only parts of this suit that should ever show from beneath the rest of her armor/suit will be the neck portion, a bit of the chest portion, and the leg/pants portion of the body suit. This body suit being layered underneath everything is to ensure a constant vacuum-safe seal. Along with the body suit, full black gloves will also be worn with it.

Now, the overlaying coat for the suit there's two options for it design-wise. Design One: Front and back. The second design is a heavy-leather trenchcoat. No matter what design someone decides to go with, I want hoods on them. The collars can either form into the hoods at the top such as where I have it marked here or, they can be wide-set hoods where the edges form near the edge of the shoulders as I have marked here. I want the hoods pretty open and... flowy? I guess is the best way to explain it. Here's some examples of what I mean: One Two Three
One the third example, I obviously don't want like all the long bits on it. Just using the upper portion as an example of it merging as a sort of collar. c: As for the color of the coat, keep it to black, red, or dark grey please.

Boots are going to be pretty basic and will be layering over top of the body suit mentioned above. There are two options. Option one will need a more grip-type of sole on them if you decide to go with that such as on these. Option two requires a sole not as thick, grip on them above like for option one, and a black heel instead of the copper coloring. Base color of boots should remain as black or navy blue. Gears and whatnot on them can be brown-gold ( as shown on one of them ) or silver.

'Kay, helmet time. This is where things begin to get a bit complicated. I know a lot of people might not be willing to draw this but I'll try to provide as many references as possible. Main helmet piece that will be wrapping around her head will be a skull. I am taking outside influences on it and want the skull to look a bit more like the omen skull from Gears of War. Browbones on it need to be arched down a bit more to look a little.. angrier. The color of this will be a flat, dark grey color. I want the upper part of this skull helmet to have a classic World War 2 styled helmet on top of it like this, minus the straps. The over-layered helmet will be black. This can either look more flat or metallic, it's up to you. One more thing on the helmet. On the overlayered helmet, I want a pair of goggles on it. Example of what I mean can be seen here. The eyesockets for the skull will serve as Helena's viewports on the helmet. Therefore, lenses will be there and I do want the lenses to be reflective ( i.e. you can't see through them from the outside ). There's a few options for the glow coming from the sockets; teal/standard, blue, green, or red. Red or blue would be preferable on Helena.

Onto the armor plating. The armor itself, aside from the helmet, isn't very complex. The armor plating will basically be this. For the legs, I don't want the plating to be angled. I want it more like how the shoulder plates are. Speaking of which, I don't want the heavy plating at the base of the shoulders/where the elbow is. Just keep it like the rest. For forearms, I want one solid piece of plating like this but not as bulky. Speaking of that last link, I want the chest armor flat without the RIG HUD piece on it like on the first screenshot. In other words, this is a no-no/. I want the rows of armor to continue up to the edges of the shoulder pieces. The armor platings will continue down to Helena's waist and continue beneath the skirt of her jacket on the revealed bottom portion of the body suit. Armor plating should stand out at all times color-wise. Such as pairing a black coat with red, brown, or flat-grey plating; or black, red, brown, dark blue plating on a dark grey coat.

Last little bit for armor. On her back is a health RIG. The colors can be done to match the visor color of the eyesockets. There are some different designs on the RIG itself. One Two Three. I personally want the health module to be stretched along the spine further than what's showed in example one. I don't like how short it is in the other two examples. :'c

I know that's a pretty lengthy description but I am aiming more to get examples of the above than the design below.

- Off-Duty Clothing: From time to time Helena will be found in off-duty clothing. Normally it's still pretty specific. For example, she'll normally wear this style of jacket ( without the belt and belt loops ) with a long-sleeved shirt with a collar on it like this on it underneath. Along with it will be a pair of fitted pants tucked into a pair of boots. You can stick to the off-white/cream and brown theme for that or go off and do something with navy blue, a grey color, or black even. If she's not found in her casual wear, she will be found wearing a uniform such as this. Colors for this one do need to stick to black, white, and grey paired with navy or dark red.

Personality:: Helena is rather quiet. She isn't very talkative and can seem to be pretty cold-hearted at times. She's willing to put her emotions behind her to get a job done which is part of why she was chosen to do her job. However, despite being rather quiet and cold-hearted, once she trusts someone, she is rather loyal. She will talk to them, have their back, and do whatever she can to make sure they get out alive alongside her. If she doesn't trust you though, she will surely show it and will even go so far as to leave someone behind if she doesn't trust them.

With the kimonos, you can draw them however short or long you would like to draw them. If you keep/draw them short, I'd love to see knee-high leggings or long leggings paired with them. <3

Skirts can be drawn with tanktops or whatever else you'd be comfortable doing. Any accessories on these outfits, especially the sunglasses, do not need to be included if you don't want to draw them. Also, shoes can be replaced with a simple pair of converse tennis shoes or something if that'd be easier. c:

Age:: Twenty-Two

Additional Features::

• She has three sets of piercings on her ears. A standard lobe, upper lobe, and a helix/rim done at the top for each ear. Example.

• Her eyes are this color of blue.

• Her hair is a very light grey color, long ( at least elbow/mid-back in length; it can be longer though ), and straight. Her bangs can be done however. If you're drawing on a blank though, just do straight cut bangs ( which can be slightly grown out/a little uneven ) and have the sides of the bangs a bit longer to blend with the rest of her hair such as this. She'll either wear it down, in a ponytail, or some sort of bun with the ends of her hair poking out everywhere from the bun. Her skin is a pale/fair color.

Personality:: Evangeline is normally a calm, laid-back person. Generally happy but she's rather curious about things. So, she's found having an expression of being in awe if she's interested in something or found reading books to keep her curiosity under control. She enjoys traveling and is quite adventurous but rarely goes all out to do spontaneous things unless someone else is there beside her doing it. Even then, she'll have random little spikes of anxiety hit her in these situations.

Extra notes: I guess for more information for the OCs, this thread would be best. For Helena, I don't mind her being drawn in her off-duty stuff if you don't mind drawing off of a description. I should have a partial reference for her soon-ish, though. c:

Extra notes: Cause avatars are small it might be hard to see all the details, she has small deer like antlers and cleft hooves like a goat or deer. Actually she's suppose to resemble a deer a lot from the feet waist down. She wears very little but has a lot of furry poof as you can see. She's not wearing a dress, that's a sash that's tied around her waist and hangs down between her legs a lot like a loin cloth but is decorative. I guess she sort of has the feel of an amazon.
Details : She does not have paws for hands, those are suppose to be decoration, you can draw it with out them. She also does not have a weapon reference for now so you can skip drawing that too.

Selina stands with confidence at all times. Her brown hair often has bits of white lace throughout it for appearance sake. Her skin is a natural bronze color, and she often wears shades of deep brown and forest green when away from humanity. She has quite the figure and is not afraid to use it for her enjoyment when it comes to tricking people. When among people, she wears a simple white tee, with a tight brown mini jacket.
