What are Edits ?

Edits are art! Edits are graphics that are drawn over regular Gaia bases or altered Gaia bases. They are images for decorative purposes only! They cannot be equipped! The person who does the art on top of the base is known as an editor.

What can I use Edits for ?

Edits can be used for a lot of fun stuff on Gaia. You can use them in your post style, in your signature, to represent an role play character or any number of things. They make excellent gifts for friends and an interesting do-dads for your profile.

Who is Sailoreclipse ?

Sailoreclipse is the ever so sensational editor who is selling her tempting and tasty wares in this shop. She is the queen of this new edit movement set to bring about an arty evolution to the editing world as we know it and give a new generation a taste of the fun and funky side of the editing world. She's a top notch editor with superior skills~!

Who is Juilette ?

The elusive and conclusive, account hopping, mad woman who pesters sailor into new unknowns in the name of editing and all that is just. She is the thread writer and manager.

The Editorial is a guild comprised of multiple avatar editors where you can find many more avatar edit treasures. If you would like to view some of sailoreclipses other works, they are located there along with many other editors, and viewable here.

Gift from the Sea

Each day as the ocean would withdraw from the sandy beaches where it slept he would spy a glorious river passing in the distance. He would rush back to the sandy beach wishing to meet the beautiful river but was unable to ever reach her and each night he slept again after tiring himself after beating the rocks all day. One day a young nymph happened to wander on to the beach and was fascinated by a beautiful shell they happened to find as the nymph turned to leave the ocean, who had witnessed the theft, brought about a great storm and the nymph fearing their life threw the shell back into the angry ocean waters.

" Please, please Lord Ocean I beseech thee what can I do to Quell thy anger ? "

The storm ceased as the ocean thought and finally the shell was washed back ashore near the nymph.

" Deliver this gift to the beautiful river over the hills. Ask her if, should she accept my pearl, she would honor this humble ocean with a kiss "

So the nymph took the shell and traveled over the hills to where the beautiful river was, to her basin, where she sat watching over her waters attended by her flowers.

" Oh beautiful River~! I beseech thee to take this gift from the Ocean and return to him a Kiss "

The river took the lovely pearl presented to her by the nymph, nestled in the soft fold of the shell, and slipped shyly back into her waters. Each year after that the nymph would come to the river with a pearl and place it in the water and the river would flood and for several hours the water of the river and ocean would mingle in a loving kiss.

Immortalize this gift of love with this stunning edit of the first time the river is presented with a beautiful pearl.
