Trades with inactive users?

Recently, as it's been announced, you have to file a ticket to "reactivate" your account if you've been gone for 6 months or something along the lines of that.

My question is: What happens to the trades with inactive users?
I have various trades open for art requests, and I've noticed at least one or two trade(s) disappearing probably due to the user's/users' inactivity. Can anyone confirm that this is what happens when the user is inactive?
