I love this idea. The clothes are gorgeous and there's a lot you can do with these.

I just hope it won't be something that turns out to cost 50$ in the cash shop.

if they do make it that much, i sure won't be buying. i really wish they would put it into an ei or rei and call it a day.

Well it is as close as I can get given the limited hair choice...
You have to admit I did come close...
This is when the specified item layering would come in handy...
Specifically I would want the obi to sit over the other sleeve...
and the head dress on the hair to sit above the other flower part so it looks more in the back than the front...
What makes it look more Chinese than Japanese?
How about Nihonshu or Mod Geisha?
I liked Chrysanthemum Empress for the headdress and ornate hairstyle.
An Oiran Inspired MC would be super awesome!

it would be great if we could be in control of layering.

The chinese hairstyles are more fancier and have more variety than the japanese.

i notice the japanese loves to stick with the hair pulled up in the middle and fanned out on both sides.

Nihonshu and Mod Geisha kimono look japaneseque. The hair ornament from nihonshu and the hairstyle from mod geisha isn't quite what a geisha would have on their head. It's not made in the traditional hairstyle that a Geisha would wear. It has no fanned out hair on the sides, so it was just a fancy, creative play on the Geisha look. Yeah they put their own stamp on it like these people did:

Click to show.I know they were going for a geisha inspired look but some of those hairstyles look like it could go for chinese since chinese have so many different kinds of hairstyles and some of those hair ornaments i see peopel trying to use for a geisha inspired look on other photos, look to be chinese, especially the hairpins that the lady in the white wig is wearing. Those do not look japanese to me.

It would be so great if we could get oiran mc's, ei's, and rei's. i wanna make an oiran so bad but gaia skips over that idea. T__T could be becuase of oiran's bad history but yet they make sexy clothes and oirans are fully dressed not even showing their body xD.

YYYEEESSSS. ALL OF MY WANT.

I would love more Oiran/Tayuu items.

Just as well, I'd really love some Gisaeng (Kisaeng) items, as well as more items from the Korean culture. Ya' know, like some more pretty and detailed hanboks. x3
