[OFFICIAL] World Page Re-Design Rnd. 2 - Launching 01/09

Hey guys, based on the feedback we received from the first feedback thread, we made new mocks for the World navigation and World page. Take a look and keep the feedback coming!

Here are the planned changes:

World Navigation

1. Add "Virtual Spaces" category to World page. Rally, Towns, Friends Chat, VJ, Virtual Hollywood will remain in the World navigation.
   
2. Move Gaia Labs link to MyGaia navigation.
   
3. Move Anime player from Forums navigation to World navigation.
   
4. Remove Gaia Blog. (already removed.)
   
5. Navigation Redesign Mock
   

World Page

1. zOMG! link will be removed. (already on Games page.)
   
2. Spotlight will be removed. (currently just links back to map emotion_facepalm )
   
3. Replace Towns link with "Virtual Spaces" module.
   
4. World Page Redesign Mock
   

Games Page and Games Navigation
To be left as is.

These changes are still many weeks out and subject to change based on your feedback.

Really Gaia? ...Really?...

1. Why now? Why change what ain't broke?:The World page is seriously outdated and rarely used. We are trying to give it the facelift we feel it deserves to better spotlight the features relevant to the community. This may require we shuffle some thing around, but we are trying to leave other areas of the site as untouched as possible from these changes.
   
2. Gaia Blog: Removed because it was not being used...and I don't mean by users... We, as staff were failing to keep up with it. The blog was outdated and rarely received posts by those with access, so until a time when we can better utilize it, it's gone.

I don't feel like the navigation is much different, but it's fine the way it is.

I do have to say like I like the new Worlds page though.
It just looks.... much neater/nicer.
