the shop that no one can a afford and my issue with the site is when i say i cant afford anything i get attacked by these rich people yelling at me telling me i dont belong there then and to get out.

there are people who have bought from it, well that is why they're in there anyway..
but i get attacked by people because i spent gc on this site, and possibly because i would be considered "rich", but account value doesn't really mean much cat_gonk

Doubtful. Gaia is one of the largest frequented forum sites on the internet. It has a lot of partners and sponsors as well as a large, young, and impressionable fan base (users under the age of fifteen) who will continue to monetarily support the site because the they have the ability to, what with allowances and such. They also have seen a lot of grandfathered people walk out the door recently, but they are replacing people just as quick. The new people won't know better, and the site will less than likely run itself in to the ground and more than likely be in this sort of stalemate with older users until someone gives.

^ That's a drop in the ocean compared to other sites. Doesn't justify to keep the site open at all. At least not if they are as greedy as they appear to be.
Any medium sized FREE forums or message board has 10x the amount of users.

INCOMING LONG POST.

There isn't anything wrong with supporting a website you enjoy with a little bit of your dollar but, it seems like Gaia doesn't value it's costumers anymore.

I don't feel valued anymore and the prices they are asking for pixels is completely unreasonable.

It's irritating seeing that I have to spend hundreds of actual dollars just to obtain like, two items. And even more irritating to know that my investment is completely useless and not valued in the least. I'm starting to feel like someone's wallet rather than someone's costumer. Plus, to try and get gold the good old way just isn't effective anymore with this inflation.

I just want to feel like I'm valued and that my input is heard. That I'm not just some statistic or dollar. I'm a human being and I'm not made of money.

I really, REALLY love gaia and this why I feel I need to get heard before I lose something I enjoy. I'm really very confused as how to feel, because I'm so torn on the whole subject of inflation, Club Verge and cash shop sale pushing. On one hand, I enjoy feeling like I help keep a website that I love running and I'm afraid if I don't buy it'll shut down. On the other hand, I feel like I have no other option in getting my concerns addressed.

TL;DR I want to feel like a valued costumer again.
