yeah, I often work with the same-layer items and have to switch them around to get the right look, my avatar is actually equipped with two sets of eyes for the liner look lol (of course I'm about to change it, new month and stuff.) I haven't had as much hassle with layering background items although sometimes it's frustrating because they layer behind and don't show up or something layers in front of the avatar and blocks too much, so the more nice background (and foreground, and filter) items I collect the better.

yeah, thank you! I have lots of good background (and floral themed) items, but there are so many items on Gaia that it's impossible to collect them all so I wasn't even aware of that item and recolors (and now I already have a few of the less expensive ones.)
