More Fafnir the Adolescent Dragon recolors, plz

I don't know about you guys, but I think Fafnir the Adolescent Dragon is a really great companion item. It has some good variety in the poses. We got one recolor for it; I'd love to see more. (though I would at least one recolor is a bit more affordable than Ifrit, ha ha)

I want Ifrit the Adolescent dragon so bad. If I apply Astra: Lucky Clover, I get this perfect emerald green... and I like the original colors too. Variety is good! (And I just love dragons.) As the long as the recolors are quality, I'm good with it.

Quick question. How did you get the astra to color you as fafnir? I love the way the clover colors him but when I wear the I am pose with it it won't color him.

You need to equip a background item of some sort. A lot of them don't work with "I am" items so it's a bit of trial and error. I'm using Carousel (podium) because it doesn't show when I kneel. You can find some others here but the list is outdated as the user just came back from hiatus. Otherwise you can just play around in your own inventory and see what works. You can also only use one Astra at a time with this item.

Back on topic: I like armadillodreamer's suggestion, too. It's actually on my list of questions to ask at the next ATS. sweatdrop (Are you reading my mind, dear?) It would be a good way to use up Snowflake charms, especially for those of us who have a lot left!

edit: Because I'm lame. Color-changing Astras that work with Fafnir: Bloodstain (red), Lucky Clover (various shades of green or pure emerald, depending on if you have Fafnir or Ifrit), V-day 2k14 Candy Coated, and Curse of the Gray Wizard (gray- only works sometimes).

I'm entirely willing to bet they'll at least make an Adolescent Bahamut as well as a Bahamut SD doll... Can't quite say the same for Frozen Fafnir 'cause he's ... frozen.

Baby versions are also entirely possible but I don't quite see them happening for a while

Honestly, Gaia can just recolour all the Fafnir items not only for Ifrit, Bahamut or even Novae, but new colours too.
That includes the dreaded pinkcreampurple emotion_eyebrow
If they produce a colour I like, I might just collect them all and maybe use them to replace my darling Saiph (Fallen Wish) emotion_kirakira

I would love to see some recolors in some jewel tones. (Thank you to ElegantlyLuminous for explaining how to change the colors on the current Fafnir) A red, purple or green. I liked that they recolored Fafnir (adult) white but he looked a little flat to me and so not worth the charms to make him. If they do recolor him, I would hope they would do a better job on the half grown version.

Bahamut is the one I'm waiting for.
I'm also waiting for a green or pure purple recolor of some sort. (Please don't tell me about changing Fafnir with Astra items. I have them turned off so that I don't lag, so I don't see the color effects like others do.)
