~ TAROT DIVINATION & FORTUNE TELLING ~

Tarot cards are cards assigned with various meanings which can be applied to specific circumstances (i.e. issues, situations, questions, etc.) for a higher understanding of the situation. These meanings can be warnings, suggestions, encouragement, or considerations related to the situation depending on how they are interpreted. The cards can be used to help you better reflect on obstacles to goals, conflicts with others, possible choices, and how actions in the present may affect future outcomes.


In contrast, Fortune Telling can be used to predict one's past, present, or future; give simple, straightforward answers to yes/no questions; or provide a simple fortune much like magic eight balls and fortune cookies.

Tarot cards have been used by hundreds of cultures for many centuries and have thus evolved over time. There are many variations of decks and some nowadays even come with their own themes and related divination rules and spreads.

Significators are cards that represent the overall situation or core of the reading that the rest of the spread will focus on. Significators can be optional or required in some spreads and can be randomly drawn with the rest of the cards, selected by the reader, or sometimes selected by the customer.

This shop offers divination and fortune telling services, various deck choices and spreads, and uses reversals as well as significators when applicable to a spread. You readers will inform you when a significator will be in use during a reading and what options are available regarding them.

~ HOW IT WORKS ~

Before Requesting a Reading

>> Read the entire front page.
>> Turn thread notifications on.
>> Change your Public Private Messaging (PMs) setting to "yes".

Requesting a Reading

1. Copy and paste the code from the "Order Form" post to a new PM or to a new reply within the thread.

2. Choose a spread or service from the "Choice of Spreads & Services" post. If you would like to use an unlisted spread, please link your reader to where the spread can be found or post pictures and details if you made it yourself.

3. Reference "The Cards" post and choose the deck and Arcana you desire for your reading. Please address PMs to the reader username next to the deck.

4. The focus is what you wish the reading to focus on. It can be a question or a specific aspect of your life. You may be as vague or detailed about what you want your focus on as you like. Leave the focus blank or write "Secret" if you wish to keep it a secret from me. Write "General" if you wish the reading to be a general one about your life. If the focus is personal, you are free to PM the reading rather than post in the thread. Focuses PM'd are kept completely confidential. However, Arcana and spread choices may still be posted under the "Current Orders" post unless requested otherwise.

5. Choose whether you would like your reading in the thread or a PM. You will be notified in the thread when your request has been added to the "Current Orders" lists, when there are delays, when your order is next in line, and when it has been completed. When your request is completed, you will be asked to start a trade for payment for your reader (if applicable). After payment is accepted, you will receive a complete divination or fortune.

Further Considerations

Refrain from changing your username until after your order is completed.

Orders are completed on a first-come, first-serve basis so please be patient while awaiting your divination.

Progress for individual orders on the order lists is consistently updated as orders are completed. If you wish to make changes or cancellations to an order, please notify your reader right away before your order is worked on. Once your reader notifies you that your request is being worked on, you will not be able to change your request. However, you may still cancel it at any time. Please notify your reader as soon as you decide to cancel a request so they may move on to the next customer.

If you wish to stay completely anonymous without having your name appear on the front page at any point, it is recommended to either use a mule account or request that your name not be added to any posts when you first submit a request.

Sure! Tipping isn't necessary or expected, but we will gratefully accept it if offered.

I've never done a reading before. What should I request?

We recommend a general reading using on of the one or three card spreads. Those are a light and easy reading that does not require much waiting and will give you an idea of what to expect from future readings. Plus, they are free! Arcana and deck options are completely up to personal preference, but if you really can't decide, then the full Arcana and the reader's favored deck is a good default.

How often should I request a reading?

We recommend waiting at least a month if you want to request a divination with the same focus as a previous one, even if you plan on using a different spread. However, you are welcome to request a divination much sooner if the focus is on something completely different from a previous reading or if the focus is on a more specific aspect of a previous reading.

What information should I tell you about myself that will be helpful for the reading?

You may choose to be as vague as you like when requesting a reading. You may even keep the focus completely to yourself. However, if you choose to be vague or secretive, then we may not be able to help interpret the cards much beyond explaining their general meanings.

If you are open to sharing information about yourself when asking for general readings, some things that could be of help would be some general information about aspirations (such as career goals or dreams), current contentment level with your life, current relationship status, family life, hobbies/studies, any big projects you may be working on, and/or any major events that may be happening in your life at the moment, in the recent past, or foreseeable future.

Note: We would never ask for information such as your current address, age, real name, sex/gender, health records, personal history, specific job, or any other sensitive or personal information pertaining to you or others in your life.
