The tape is neat! How does it hold up?

I was told to do puppy nails. So,

Those are so cute! I used some base and top coat along with the tape, and it stayed on the whole week I had them.

Hi everyone. I'm no nail expert but there's this thing called 'washi tape' that is quite popular here in Asia.. people use them mainly for scrapbooking and crafts but I guess you can use them on nails as well lol The cool thing about these tapes is that they can be removed without damaging the surface of whatever they've been pasted on. Here's something I did with them:

Berdy, you are truly amazing! I want to learn from you! Can you recommend a video of how to do washi or show one that you have don? I would really like to make that one of my next challenges! Those look great!

Oh thank you! redface It's really simple, kind of like how you would use ordinary adhesive nail foils, but a little harder to get them to fit nicely on the nail. Not sure if there's a video but I'll try to look for one. Something fun that you might like to try are 'hokuri nails'.. it's good to use washi on those! They're really cute and not time consuming at all - You might want to look at these!

My husband though Zuza looked like Aquadelic by China Glaze.
They soo don't. Zuza is much darker and has shimmer.

Aerobe, you will have to show me a swatch of the pixie dust. I have been toying with getting some because I don't have any textured polish.

I decided to put all of my nails on Pinterest. here is the link to my board. I don't know if you all can check it out or if you have to follow me. Except the cherry blossom nails, it goes in reverse chronological order. My skills get better the farther down you go on the board lol.

I have it on right now and it's so interesting.

You look at it and don't expect texture since it looks like glitter but you touch your nail and it feels like sandpaper.
I love it.
It's verrrrry pretty too.

I tried something unusual today. Burnt paper.

When it goes on it's like regular non-texured polish.
Then as it hardens the texture starts to show.
It's pretty neat.

I didn't know it was a textured polish at all. I thought it was just glitter.

So I know I haven't been to active on this thread but I thought that I would do a quick pic dump. trying to keep it small with the descent ones.

also sorry for the nasty cuticles and skin. I work in a cold room moving totes, the tops of my hands are so dry they are literally cracking so... yeah that's my excuse. but at least my nails are pretty.

The blurry pictures are from another phone with a lesser quality camera obviously.
