Welcome to The Land Before Time (TLBT), a breedable and changing pets shop inspired by the magical movies and tv series of the same name. Our goal here is to provide a fun, welcoming community and we hope you will join us in the endeavour.

We are currently gathering interest in this b/c idea, and looking for an artist who can help create the pets and other items. Be sure to read the front page, and stick around to chat!

STORYMany years ago, a great famine and drought plagued the lands. Leaf-eaters were starving, and sharpteeth ruled over them. The home of the lead-eaters was desolate and barren, and many dinosaur clans kept hope alive by telling each other of the Great Valley - a place where food, fresh water and safety was available in plenty.

The leaf-eaters decided to go in search of this legendary valley, and eventually they found their way there. Since then, they have lived in relative peace in the bountiful valley.

MAIN SETTING

The Great Valley is a sanctuary for the leaf-eaters. The valley is surrounded by high walls that keep out most predators, and watching over the valley is a rock formation that resembles a longneck, which is known as Saurus Rock. The valleys several waterfalls provide a wide system of fresh water, and it has a small volcano and a few tar pits.

This is where all ideas discussed in the thread will be stored, until its decided if they will be part of the shop or not! Some things we would really like opinions on at the moment are:
- Should adult stage be M/F or Unisex
- How long should there be between stages
- The rariety of each species, and species to be added
- What to have as familiars (or should we have them at all?)
- What items to have in the shop (we're already going to have a Nightflower, but thats it so far)
- Ideas for role playing

And any other suggestions you care to make :}

TLBT is in search of atemplatist. Pricing is flexible, dedication is not. The sketches are still on-going, so we are looking for someone who isn't going to flake out and will get things done in a timely manner. A rough guestimate says there will be 20+ lines/templates needing to be done.
