You think 562 people are "a few"? Not to mention that this list is growing everyday?? And if they're a company with any integrity, they WILL care about 500+ customers getting upset.
As for a dabble in their income, you see all these tanks with 17 mermaids/watermeats? Each of those tanks made them about $130 each! And those people who spent the money are the ones most upset. Many of them refuse to give gaia any more money until they address this issue in a way that can satisfy most everyone. And I don't mean they're not buying fish.. they're not buying fish, MC, EI.. NOTHING! So yeah, I think Gaia will listen or lose a lot of money.

Edit: And yes, I very much feel as though I am attempting to communicate to a wall and failing miserably. I get the feeling Gaia doesn't even look at this thread. I highly encourage everyone to refuse to give gaia any real money. I know Kali/Cee won't even buy cash items off the MP because someone paid cash for it. We have to show them we are serious about this!!

Before the fix, Steel Plated Ninja Headband skyrocketed from 2.5 million Gold to 3 million Gold. And because of the fix, it dropped back down from 3 million to 2.5 million. Yes, inflation was that bad.

Take a look at the market graph. The ninja band has been trending upward since March. And it started trending back down toward the end of aApril. AMP was under 2.6mil prior to the "fix". Check the prices on an OMG. In August of last year they were around 10mil. If anything, more people having more gold wouldn't make items more expensive, it would make them cheaper, because more people would be buying and selling them. And having more of the same item in the MP is was brings the price down, right? What about the horns? A year ago they were selling for over 4mil. Don't drink the Kool-Aid man. The numbers don't add up. Just like Sagger offering to post what my tank made because it was the "same, maybe even a little more than before the fix". Yet I've had a 7,000 gold day, and sitting at 6k today, and I haven't heard another peep from Sagger. Imagine that. You guys ought to figure out how to read what the MP really says if you're gonna claim that's the reason for nerfing something.

How dare gaia FIX a high income game. Darn them trying to balance a video game they ruined a long time ago with the cash shop to begin with. Shame with them trying to balance everything rather then some and not others. That's just not fair.

Another thing, booty grab was not desinged to make a constant income. It was a game made, to entertain you all for a short while. Expensive fish are expensive to look pretty. You also seem to forget the better the fish the better your reward item you happen to get DAILY. stop complaining -.-

ANYONE can buy fish off the MP, or play booty grab. It's the people that don't want to have to invest time making a tank, promoting it or playing that are crying about people making too much gold. They're afraid someone who hasn't been here for 4 years might be able to afford their l337 gear. God forbid not being able to tell the difference between an '04 member and an '09 member by looking at their avi. That's what users were whining about. Shut up and go buy your own aquarium instead of punishing those of us that are able to change and adapt, using real money.

I was about to upgrade my aquarium (just look at it, it´s LAME) Now that I see this thread, and that what it states is proven true, I can prevent Gaia from ripping off my pockets.

And the overseer "fix" it´s pitiful. It used to give me more gold when my aquarium happiness was 10%, (before the "upgrade" wink than now that it´s at 98%.

If this doesn´t change for good, I won´t spend a cent of my real cash on Gaia fishes.

Booty Grab and Aquariums are just extras for a Forum based site. There are no Decoration/Fish that are labeled "Great rewards of 20k per day!". Gaia is just focusing more on interactive activities, as they have seen many people use up 100s of dollars on multiple accounts expecting a Goldmine, thus rising up Prices because there is more Gold in the economy. A click of Overseer =/= massive income.

For example: Gaia has advertised the water meats as goldmines and then changed what they spit out. That's the point. Like somebody said, you don't sell a computer and after the customers has purchased it, change the settings.

also not happy with the overseer. i have 100% and i get an octopus on my head?!? i used to get a decent amount of gold now i get stuff i can not sell or 100 gold. that is the fix on the gaia economy? when booty grab started the numbers of gaians plummeted. i thought it was neat that i could make gold when i was not even on. now it just seems extreme with the life spans of fish and the amount of gold they give and the amount of cash they are. it used to be a whole page was glowing tanks. i would go grab the ones with higher multiple fish. sorry to the cuttles and arrowfish.
