It becomes necessary to establish a little racism 101 when people insist that G~ isn't offensive because the majority doesn't think so and because the stereotypes are "positive."

People have been calling for the thread to be removed to shut us up for dozens of pages, and several of them had said as blatantly. I can't say I'm surprised given the moderator responses.

I don't think you failed - you did what you could and you voiced an issue. You can't help what happens after that.

As a side note - for people who think the Roma don't face discrimination today, France is currently trying to legally deport thousands of people. They claim it isn't racially motivated, but the demographics speak differently. Italy continues to target the Roma as well.
