The Queen of Candy
I went to Mexico this summer and I didn't want to leave.
I'm ashamed to admit that I thought I would hate it. But I didn't hate it after all. I love Mexico.
I actually felt safer where I was than I do in the United States. I always heard how dangerous Mexico is and I was afraid of going.
I was in Culiacán, Sinaloa and my aunt, another family member, and I drove past a bridge one night and there were a lot of couples and friends there. Vendors were selling sweets and souvenirs. It looked like a very romantic place. I wish I had stayed longer to see more sights, but I was staying in Mexico for my daddy's funeral. I know why he missed living there so much!
The people were very kind also. I felt so relaxed there. I want to go back now. biggrin
haha i know, Mexico isnt the safest place in the world , but is not like we are killing each other in each corner
