Gaia changed how the announcement notification works and of course it affected our Announcement Viewer and Remover features. We will apply an update soon to fix this issue. I suggest disabling those two features for now.

Owned Items Indicator is not working for me. Why is that?

First, make sure that you have the feature checked and adjusted its custom settings. If it still doesn't work, then this is most likely because your inventory is too big and you have the "Inventory Glitch". It is a Gaia glitch that has been around for a long time. It will affect a lot of things. To see if you are experiencing it, go to the link shown below and see if the page loads. If it doesn't, then there is nothing we can do. Moving some of your items to another account might help. If the page loads, then it could be a GaiaUpgrade glitch, please report it on the main thread if that's the case.

Apparently, Lanzer was the only person who actually knew how to tweak the very core of Gaia, and they weren't able to make any of those types of changes until he came back?...at least, it seems that way.

It's kind of bizarre that they thought that such an arrangement where the only person who really knew how to stop the site from becoming such a ******** just leaving would have worked out long term in the first place.

I just hope that he can stop the trainwreck and get things back to something close to normal again.

rofl So Lanzer's going to make things a bit messy for Unheard to patch things up for GaiaUpgrade? But I think it shouldn't be a problem for him...


I wanted to ask whether GaiaUpgrade can have a Guild Notification feature where, when turned on, you'll be notified when somebody made a new post/thread in the guild or a recent guild activity. I'm finding it a little tedious to check my guilds frequently for new posts since I can't subscribe to guild threads.

As many of you know, Lanzer is back and is fixing and updating Gaia.

This means that the site itself will have changes here and there, especially with its code.

This will cause a few of GaiaUpgrade's features to not work properly.

We will try our best to keep up with these changes and release fixes as soon as possible.

For the mean time, if a feature is not working properly, disable it until a fix is released.

The site seems to be experiencing a lot of issues lately but I really feel like Gaia is on the right path again. I just hope Lanzer is receiving help so he can speed things up.

This would've been a real pain in the neck if I had still been working alone. But with Knight Yoshi as my partner, these issues would be solved faster.

As for your suggestion, I don't think that's possible without making too many/often page requests from the guild forum, which would cause slower browsing.

Then when I loaded another page around Gaia, the Announcement number went up only by a few and repeated the above. It continued acting like this on every page loaded until there's none left on the 6th or 7th page. Is that normal?
